PR today!! • I woke up bummed because I didn't work out yesterday, breaking my streak. I took forever to get out of bed. But I PR'd my running pace! I'm super excited about that! Couch to 5K Week 2 Day 3 might not have turned out the way I wanted it to, but it turned out the way I needed it to.

I didn't run very fast. I'm bloated and sluggish today. I'm not even going to check what my paces were because I know I'll just get upset with myself.
▪︎
Instead I'm going to focus on how good it felt to push the air in and out of my lungs. How nice it felt to move my legs. I'm going to focus on this birdsongs I heard and the butterflies I saw and the sidewalk chalk murals I saw.

Couch to 5K Week 2 Day 2
Thankful for wildflowers and the abundance of live oaks in my neighborhood 🌸🌳
I've really been struggling with anxiety and feeling like I'm not smart enough to make it through these classes online. I've been sleeping more (which takes away from studying), and is why I ran around 9am instead of 6:30am.
I will say though, I've been looking forward to my workouts more than I ever have in my life. I was feeling so helpless and crappy yesterday, and I was counting down the minutes until I could break to workout.
I didn't run yesterday, but I did do two at-home YouTube leg and glute workouts by MadFit 🍑 The day before, I did my C25K and in the afternoon did two arm workouts, the first by Blogilates (who I didn't like, she reminded me too much of a bad 80's aerobics instructor) and the second by MadFit 💪 I didn't realize what noodle arms I have! 🍝 I knew it was bad, but I didn't realize it was oh-god-I-can't-do-tricept-exercises-with-more-than-two-pound-weights bad 😬
No where to go from here but up! 👆

Couch to 5K Week 2 Day 1! And I am gassed! I ran a little farther and a little faster than I did 2 days ago, so I'm pretty satisfied! 😌 And pretty sweaty. Part of that is on me, but part of that is just that it's so dang humid 😪

C25K Week 1 Day 3 again!
Benjamin came with me today! He also started C25K and is trying to workout more! But he hadn't done day 3 yet. He's still not 100% since his ACL repair surgery, so we went more slowly that I did yesterday. But it was super pleasant!
