All these people bending over backwards to invalidate Nico & Karolina’s kiss like wow just say you hate lesbians lmao. Looking at the Runaways from both a comic and show perspective, the signs were always there. This kiss certainly did not come out of nowhere. Karolina has had feelings for Nico for a long time, and in the comic, they always had a will-they-won’t-they relationship. I think it’s great that they decided to explore that in the show. The show has diverged a lot from the source material. It is apparent some major events that happen in the comics will not happen in the show. So I think y’all can deal with Nico kissing Karolina back. Plus, it’s also canon that they kiss in the comics, it just doesn’t happen when Karolina makes her feelings known in the first volume.
