And hats and scarves and knee socks and wearing tights for the first time in months and when the mornings are all chilly and you can see your breath and draw little pictures on foggy windows and plaid stuff and ANKLE BOOTS and not caring when people make fun of pumpkin flavored stuff cause you LOVE IT and are happy it’s all the rage and people who dress their dogs in costumes on Halloween and fires in fireplaces and maroon/hunter green/mustard yellow color combos and baking your first fall batch of cookies but you put too much cinnamon in it because you’re TOO EXCITED BECAUSE IT’S FALL.

it's crazy to me that artists loveeeee Taylor until the second she's their competition. Half of Taylor's Billboard Woman of the Decade speech - one of the most powerful she's ever given - was about the importance of fostering new talent, and she went on for over a minute about how that was so beautifully important with Billie and called her out as a pioneer of new music. And Billie called Taylor one of her heroes, it was so wonderful to see someone she looked up to "take care of" her, etc.

But then, all the sudden your "hero" is blocking your number one and so she can just get fucked? You hate everything about her and everything she stands for and you hate her best-selling tour and you hate her physical CD's because it's wasteful even though you have more?

I feel like the music industry is filled with so much backstabbing, and Taylor is so rare in that she really does not have a bad thing to say about anyone unless they've really directly hurt her, and sometimes not even then. And it's really unfortunate that she gives so much in that department but she absolutely never ever ever gets that respect back.
