First Love

 When the streets will be filled with beams and lights

And the city slowly comes alive

When the sirens wail in the dead of night

I’ll still remember that lamp post in our street that shone bright

in the silence

we lay under the covers, clutched in each other’s safety net

I’ll remember the peace in the darkness

And the moonlight casted on your silhouette

Our soft snores against rumpled pillows

And murmurs of the day unfolded

My comfort

My hope

An image I’ll always keep in a makeshift locket

tucked in the flaps of my heart.

Forever loved.

i separated you from my heart and watched this speck of gold

to have you in my hand just to get a closer look

the being that you are to make a grown man bold  

so tiny but immense, so fragile yet strong

a being separate and yet makes me whole

i watched it hover in my hand after i let it go

i watched it slowly glow and glow

i feel the happiness radiating through my soul

is it hers? or is it mine?

i guess i’ll never know

I want someone to write a book where Mermaids are the women thrown off ships when the sailors got afraid because having a woman on the boat is bad luck. And as they sink to the bottom, legs tied together, they change slowly until they can breathe, until they can use their tied up legs to swim. And they drown sailors in revenge, luring them in by singing in their husky voices still stinging from the salt water they breathed.

i imagine getting my own place all the time and going down to the grocery store early in the morning before everyone else and to the coffee shop and having a really small place with wide windows and lots of plants and shelves of books and a tiny kitchen where i can make tea and noodles and a bed with a pile of blankets and just a place i can make uniquely my own or maybe a place i could share with someone but i just think about this place a lot idk
