I write today not as a random person on the internet.

I write as a citizen of Ukraine.

Russian army has invaded my country and today, in the morning, we are in a state of war against Russia.

Today as I woke up, I was worried that I'm late to my university, and two hours later I have found out that many cities of Ukraine were shot by the long-range weapons. I've found out that there is a risk of re-attack. Because of that, my family is now packing a rescue suitcase, and I'm sitting with my younger brother in the bathroom, away from the windows.

The volunteer assistance points have already started working in my city. Our allied countries are ready to help us, and Ukrainian army is ready to protect our country.

But, we have a lack of confidence, that people know about that terror, which Ukraine has gotten into.

Please, don't stand apart and shape this information that my country in a state of war against Russia.

I never thought I would ever write something like this, but I can't stay silent either. I feel pain for those, who can die for me, and I'm scared about those, who is even closer to the fire, than me.

Я пишу як громадянка України.

Російська армія вторглася на теріторію моєї країни, і зранку сьогоднішнього дня, ми перебуваємо в стані війни з Росією.

Сьогодні вранці я спізнювалася на заняття в університеті, а дві години по тому я дізналася, що багато міст в Україні було обстріляно з далекобійної зброї. Я дізналася, що є ризик повторної атаки і тому зараз моя сім'я пакує рятувальну валізу, а я з молодшим братом сиджу в ванній, подалі від вікон.

В нашому місті вже почали працювати волонтерські пункти допомоги, союзні країни готові постачати нам ресурси і українська армія готова боронити нашу землю.

Але нам не вистачає впевненості в тому, що люди знають про той жах, в якому Україна зараз опинилася.

Будь-ласка, не мовчіть, поширте інформацію про те, що в моїй країні зараз йде війна з Росією.

Я ніколи не думала, що буду про таке писати, але я теж не можу мовчати. Мені боляче за тих, хто може вмерти за мене, і страшно за тих, хто знаходиться ще ближче до вогню.
