I can't help but listen to Frank Sinatra's My Way Of Life and imagine this scenario:

A couple of cartoon villains, masterminds, unhinged, with no reason or purpose beyond pure evil, passionate about chaos and each other. No one else in the world understands their chaotic outlook on life more than each other. Yes, they fight, sometimes to the point of trying to kill each other with their own gadgets, but they would reduce the city to rubble and watch the world burn if someone else did anything to their beloved.

They both always look crazy, with a deranged smile and taking everything as a simple game, but the day their loved one is truly hurt, their smiles will vanish and the world will know the true hell they are capable of.

Their plan fails as usual, but now they are affected worse than they expected, everything is on fire, falling to pieces and reduced to rubble, one or both are badly injured and weak, thinking that they will not be able to get out of there and this has been their last misdeed. But then, one of the two sees out of the corner of their eye a grappling hook gun or a gadget capable of getting them out of there flying and without a second thought, they grabs it. The other villain remains on the ground, with their eyes closed and having accepted their fate, then, they hears that familiar call, that voice, that whistle, the call of their beloved; they looks up and finds their beloved standing there, just as weak as them but with that characteristic smile of theirs, holding the gadget in their hand and offering the other one to them, whispering:

"𝑾𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒎𝒚 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆?~"

This renews the energies of the villain lying on the ground and they take the hand of their beloved.

The chorus of the song plays, both of them hug and hold firmly each other, the gadget begins to lift them through the air as they pass through all the chaos and destruction that almost killed them, looking at each other with that smile of villainy that fills them with life, laughing out loud, as if they were laughing in the face of death after having overcome it and escaped from there in time, knowing now that their story of romance and villainy is far from over.

'cause that's what they are, their ways to life, and they never let each other go🥀

Hi I am a dmd enjoyer, I still haven't caught up because I wanted to reread the first chapter, but I wanted you to know how funny it is being a canon dca enjoyer as well. Sometimes I'll think about au's and be like.. what if canon? Then I laugh because like.. this poor lanky man in jester clothes just absolutely staring into our soul while we pretend we didn't just break and enter an abandoned mall?? I love dmd sun and moon, but awkwardly sticking in canon dca in stylized au's is so funny to me

Lately, and I'm serious, joking aside, I've taken on this weird thing where I put on clown makeup when I'm at my limit, and I'm completely serious, it's happened a couple of times where I'm at the edge of my repressed emotions and I feel so suffocated with everything around me that my mind can't take it anymore, and before I know it I just take my makeup and let it all come out, only to look in the mirror and see how I feel inside with all my emotional shit built up, a clown.

I mean I'm not saying it's right or wrong, after all I'm just ridiculing my own emotions like your ringleader high school bully would and not taking them as seriously as I should, but at the end of the day when I'm done and I have all those layers of colorful, extravagant makeup on, I feel proud to look at myself just like that, like a clown, even though I can get one or another smile, but most of all I feel this liberation where if I could do this then I can do more and move forward.

It's not the best or most practical way to cope, and yes, white foundation and pretty-toned makeup runs out faster than I'd like, but it's my way and I like it. Anyway, I just wanted to write it up and post it wherever, if you took the time to read it, thank you :)
