The kiosk demo version of Donkey Kong 64 contains early dialogue for rescuing Diddy Kong whereby he uncharacteristically taunts Donkey Kong by saying "HA, FOOL, YOU'VE LET ME GO!"

This was likely a joke by the developers, as the main area of Jungle Japes, where Diddy Kong would be rescued, is inaccessible in the demo and only the development team was intended to see this message.

The footage above shows the dialogue in action by modifying the demo's version of the area to be playable.

Lets talk about some of the new changes happening with the remastered version of OFF!!! (LETS FUCKING GOOOOO!!!!!)

All this info is from the Mortis Ghost stream he made talking about the game!

There's now a respawn function! When you die, it gives you an option to start back at the room you originally died in

There's now a hint button you can press when you're unsure what to do next or if a puzzle is a little too hard

Updated animations/sprites (footstep trails! ladder animation!)

New main menu screen!

Zacharie's shop menu is also new!

New things are in the game that can't be shown yet, but here's some info we are allowed to know about;

Battle system has been reworked, more balanced and more fun

There will be more announcements in the future about the development of the game!

They no longer have the rights to the OG music + soundtrack so they have to remake it all for this version

The original game will forever be free and the original soundtrack will stay on that version too

New content including new secrets, new bosses, new areas and more!

Will release in English and French at first and will later get a Japanese version at another date

Could (probably) have Steam achievements though he's unsure

Some new lore is being added in the comic book that's only available in the Switch Collector's Edition

I've heard the built-ins mess with accessibility readers a bit, something about transcribing the letters wrong?

If anyone can verify whether or not this is still the case, that'd be nice.

How come tumblr text has like 4 built in options and this is one of them. I have never seen anyone use this. I'm kind of surprised nobody has even for comedic effect.

It's baby waddle dee season! as the weather gets cooler, baby dees will typically travel in groups to find a heat source they can cuddle up to.

They are completely harmless, however, these guys can really cling onto clothes! make sure to keep a waddle dee roller around so no stray dees will be stuck on you all day!

As for setting the dees free, you can return them to the king or to the nearest adult waddle dee.
