Most children get their first tooth by 6 months, so you may want to schedule your visit sooner rather than later. The first dental visit is more an informative visit to teach mom and baby about oral health care. The Pediatric Dentist will do a visual examination of the baby's teeth and gums, as well as check for cavities or other issues they may be able to diagnose early on in life.
