SECRET WISH is the first mini album by the south korean girlgroup KANDYKRUSH. the album was released february 14, 2014. the album contained four songs including the title track “ ah-choo ” KANDYKRUSH promoted unsuccessfully for around two weeks. in the middle of performing they decided to promote their side track “ shy boy ” to see if they could gain some more attention.

coming from a small company, kandykrush did not have many expectations. especially since their company at the time was known for not promoting their idols well. thankfully for kandykrush, they did gain some traction when promoting shy boy. although it was not enough for their company, the group gain a small yet loyal fanbase that would stay with them for the next four years until their next comeback.

definitely a very messy era ... it came together in the end ?? but overall not their best era.

although they weren’t that popular they did gain a small fandom !! and a very loyal one at that.

during 2014 they became really good friends with got7 , b.i.g and hotshot even though they didn’t promote at the same time !!

although this debut wasn’t popular , i have to say their songs are quite iconic and are in a lot of underated debut videos.

the stage + outfits were very low quality but somehow ?? the girls really pulled them off.

everyone looked decent but yoori got special attention from stylist because at the time she was fotg, center and visual.

lots of soft colors , they wanted to give off an innocent love type of stage for ah-choo stage, when they promoted shy boy they wore orange and green tones.

taeran had dark brown hair , and it was normally french braided and tied with ribbons matching her outfits at the end.

yoori had jet black hair , that fell to her hips and was parted to the left side of her face. her hair was always curled towards the ends.

mao had chestnut brown hair with bangs and hair that fell to her lower back. she curled it towards the ends as well, but had ribbons tied to the sides of her head.

byul had blonde hair, that fell to her shoulders. and was normally tied into two high ponytails. she kept ribbons in her hair that fit her outfits whenever she could.

📩 ๑ ⭒ 𝗆𝖺𝗂𝗅 𝖿𝗋𝗈𝗆 𝗽𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗵 𓏲 okay so i am editing kandykrush’s debut album from 2014 so hopefully that will be up in a couple hours ?? and then i want to try and get out some more content like writings and stuff because i have really only posted discography and member profiles !! so look forward to some more content for the girls. oh and !! i will making a .. uh what are they called database ?? no navigation. navigation of all my content so hopefully i learn how to do that right so everyone has an easier time finding my content yay !! also i will be posting a get to know the author as well , so look forward to that !!

LUV!BUG is the second mini album by the south korean girlgroup KANDYKRUSH. the album was released february 14, 2018 on their fourth anniversary. the album contained four songs including the title track “ love so sweet!! ” KANDYKRUSH promoted successfully for around seven weeks, also performing the second track “ playing house ” alongside their title track.

after four years of no content , kandykrush surprised the fandom by announcing their first comeback with five new members. they brought their all , the announcement itself caused a lot of buzz and positive feedback itself. the positive reinforcement did not stop at the announcement and continued onto the teasers and so on. this era brought out kandykrush‘s more upbeat lovesongs, similar to “ shy boy ” from their debut album. many fans were excited to see the upbeat and bright colors in their mvs. and many more were surprised how talented and young the new members were , the girlgroup showed a story of highschool love and how sweet it can be, bringing them in lots of younger fans. the group grew internationally and in korea among the youngest generations.

their most popular era!! ( i mean, there is only two to pick from, so ☠️ )

love so sweet!! held very high on the charts for so long, and they got at least 10 awards despite being from a small company.

the stage's aesthetic was so pretty; it had many fans mesmerized during the stages. and it matched their outfits every time !!

each girl was dressed properly and it all fit very nice together , no one got special treatment this era !! which was surprising considering their debut era the stylist obviously had a favorite.

stan twitter was very messy !! they were all in chaos because the girls didn't have a k-profiles profile, so all they knew about the girls were their stage names.

less than a day layer kandykrush got both a fandom wiki and a k-profiles profile!!!!!

they hit one million views/watchers on their first v-live as nine.

although they haven't had a comeback since love so sweet, they still have high popularity due to their loyal fanbase gained from devotion so sweet!! era.

jane and mang vlogged their experiences backstage, and it honestly was a hit !! they will occasionally do it now, too, since so many people adored it.

the side tracks were as equally loved as the title track was!!

they played it safe with the school themed outfits and occasionally changed it to fit shy boy’s concept.

each member got an equal amount of attention for the makeup and outfits !! and everyone had such pretty looks , it was very nice to see.

lots of pink purple and blues for the love so sweet stages !! plus black whites and greys for the playing house stages !!

taeran had dark brown hair , and it was normally styled up into a ponytail or pigtails.

yoori had a cocoa brown hair , that was parted in the middle with two strands that fell infront of her face. and the rest tucked behind her ears.

mao had cotton candy pink hair that was normally styled into a french braid or occasionally styled down into a middle part. to march her hair she was mostly styled in blue, white or purple so it wouldn’t clash too much.

byul had platinum blonde hair with bangs that were sweep a little to the side. her hair was down most of the promotional period.

jiae had ruby red hair that was curled towards the bottom and that was kept in two pigtails that set onto of her had.

bitna had two-toned shag during this promotion period. she normally kept it between black and white but during the last few weeks she dyed it back to fully black.

mimi had peach blonde hair with bangs that covered her eyebrows, it was normally kept down with the occasional performance where it would be put up into a ponytail.

jane had jet black hair, that went down to her hip. it was normally parted down the middle and was rarely put up when performing.

mang had white hair that was styled into a short bob, she normally had two buns that rested into of her head. and halfway during the promotion period she cut bangs.

“ I have a hammock of all my stuffed animals, but there is only one that stays on my bed. It's a green dragon with a purple horn. I got it on my first date with chaelin; it was back in 2017. And we were able to go on dates freely...because her group disbanded and she wanted to stay quiet for awhile. and well i hasn’t debuted yet and i wasn’t going to debut for at least another year so we decided to enjoy the carnival while we could. We walked for such a long time until i caught a stand that had stuffed animals. i didn’t want to ask chaelin if we could go and try it but she already noticed the little sparkle in my eye when i looked at. before i go on and on but in the end she won me the very stuffed animal that lays on my bed. that was the only time that year, that our relationship didn’t feel empty. ” she smiled, weakly. “ but i still love chaelin, i do”

“ i don’t normally give speeches, it’s taeran mostly. since poor yoori has the worst stage fright. ” mao frowned “ but i guess i can tell y’all what i told the new girls when they joined the lineup back in 2018. ” she giggled, and clapped. “ we all had to give a speech to them, it was kinda weird. but i didn’t mind it. ” she paused and took a breath “ i told them my name and all. and what position i had in the group, and well mang started crying because she was nervous. she was... well it was 2015? so she was thirteen then? i felt so bad so i tried to give her a pep talk and i just made her feel worse. ” mao muttered “ so i just hugged her as tight as i could. ”

“ i would start a fight with all the people who are assholes on live television. it would probably be with half of the nct members though so maybe it would get a little boring but you know they need to be pulled of a high pedastool. ” she chuckled “ i can only think of like two people in nct who have learned from their mistakes or haven’t done anything... yet ”
