me yapping abt wrestling

since it seems we're heading towards a hangman v. mjf feud, which is very exciting, i wanted to point out some similarities between their character journeys and how it might indicate what'll happen.

both have been in aew since the beginning and are definitely changed men since then, but the lesson they both learned the hard way is, vulnerability is weakness. this idea that they must purge themselves of ANY vulnerabilities so they can never be hurt again.

mjf learned this through both, his feud with cm punk, and the betrayal of adam cole. especially considering how cole was the first person he EVER let in, just for it to blow up in his face.

hangman walked away from the swerve feud with the same lesson, the reason swerve was able to break into his house was because he had been vulnerable. hangman decided to never be that man again, the same man who failed to protect his family, the same man who couldn't look his wife and child in the eyes.

I think Mjf might be resentful of Hangman, as stated in the most recent dynamite, "Everybody loves Hangman though, the fans! No matter what he does. Hangman did nothing wrong! But if I breathed funny its all over for me." he's probably envious of the fact that hangman can burn a man's house down, stab him with a syringe, beat people bloody and STILL be cheered on.

and as we know mjf is very insecure and tries desperately to hide the fact that he does care what the audience thinks, so when he looks at hangman he probably sees everything he wants. an audience that will accept him even at his worse.

but who knows maybe i'm just reading way too much into the two interactions they've had.
