Small KisaIta rant

I can’t take people who think Itachi and Kisame weren’t friends seriously. They were together literally 24/7 for eight years, EIGHT YEARS! 

There is enough evidence in manga and anime to conclude their friendship but I’m telling you if Kishi bothered to give us an Akatsuki spin-off basically more than half fandom would be ‘omg uwu goals!’ *fangirl screaming*

If during Itachi’s first important appearance in the show, as big bad Akatsuki, mass murderer, one who made Sasuke emo and put Kakashi, the Kakashi, in a coma Kisame warns him not to use his eyes that much because it will end badly for him, but definitely not prevent him from winning a match, how do you think he’d react when they’re alone at the base or wherever not having a mission? And Itachi’s doing that shit to himself for years, and some people actually believe that Kisame idly stood by for years and watched Itachi vomit blood and going blind?

Do you think ‘someone Kisame had only respect for’ would be his last thought in his dying moments?

And it’s not just from Kisame’s side did you see Itachi’s look when he saw Killer Bee with Samehada? 

Even though Itachi is a cold-blooded killer and all yadda yadda yadda… sorry not sorry but in eight years, which is almost half of Itachi’s life, spent with someone you HAVE TO open up to them at some point, there’s no way that didn’t get in a situation where Itachi would need to reveal a bit of himself. Also don’t forget that during that partnership Itachi was 13-21, aka the age where your mind is the most fucked up.
