Aww i miss your writing immensely.. :( xx
Thank you! That’s very kind.
Sadly there are no plans to come back at the minute. Since I graduated university I’ve moved on to professional poetry and games writing and I just don’t have the time any more :( I’m sorry!

Just curious, when will there be more cute porenn and khadgar as parents and their adorable son ? Xx
Honestly? I don't have the answer to that yet. I just had my last under grad lecture on Friday and still have 5 weeks of deadlines coming. I'm completely drained and need some down time, so it's likely to be a few weeks, maybe 2 months, sorry!

I don't think I'm dedicated for an entire series but I'd consider one or two more.Thank you! I'm about to graduate with a degree in creative writing so my writing should probably be a lot better than it is, oops!

Caregiver
Pairing: Khadgar X Original Female Character (Porenn)
Summary: Porenn and Khadgar prepare for an arrival.
Word count: 2499.
Warnings: None.
Porenn sat mounted.
A thick, fur-lined cloak was draped over her shoulders and Ruin’s hind. The thing was a gift from Anduin and had served her well through the arduous winter months, which had been harder on her than usual due to her current condition.
Mounted was the only place she felt comfortable anymore. She was unsteady on her feet, often losing her balance and prone to bouts of crippling nausea. She was also completely sure she was the size of an orc and completely repulsive to behold, despite how often Khadgar would shower her with compliments. She was convinced that only came out of the guilt at being the cause of her situation.
They had found out they were going to be parents months previously and she had been disgruntled with him over it ever since. She had given him a cold shoulder for weeks, furious with herself as much as him that they had found themselves in this situation.
She was career focused and hadn’t a maternal bone in her body. She’d never thought she would be a parent, and nor did she ever want to. But the pure joy on Khadgar’s face when the physician told them she was pregnant instantly nixed any ideas of putting an early end to the pregnancy.
She loved him, more than anything and he hadn’t had a family since his had sold him. She couldn’t take this away from him, not after she saw how happy it made him.
The closer the birth came and the larger her belly grew the less terrified of the whole thing she was. She herself didn’t know how to be part of a family but Khadgar adored children and she had no doubts that he would make an amazing father.
Then there was Anduin too. She didn’t think she’d ever seen him this excited before and he had immediately began to help Khadgar prepare for fatherhood.
They already planned to have Anduin around the baby as much he wanted to be. Both of them believed it would help him deal with the death of his son.
She had both of them and they would both help her with anything she needed, but there was still some fear in her. She loved her baby, she knew that already, but she had no idea how to be a mother. She was afraid that she would fail and that her baby wouldn’t love her.
“General?” Rowan’s voice broke her out of her reverie “is this suitable?”
She sighed deeply and look in the scene before her. The army was gathered yet again, ready to march to the south to meet an army of tauren and undead and though she couldn’t lead, she was still out to inspect the troops and their equipment before they began to march.
“As ever. Stay safe on the march Rowan, and make it back. I’ll need you when I have command again.” She said, wheeling Ruin around.
“Yes General.” He nodded once as she left. She no longer held the command, but he would never address her as anything but General.
She galloped away back towards the city.
Khadgar didn’t like that she was out alone so late in her pregnancy, but she was beginning to feel so useless that she found herself constantly finding reasons to go out to the camp on the outskirts of the city.
She pulled into the yard of the castle stables and began to dismount as a groomsman rushed out to take Ruin’s reigns from her.
Dismounting grew more difficult by the day. The difficulty growing with the swell of her belly and before she could struggle to lift her leg over Lothar had marched out and was already helping her out of the saddle.
“I’m perfectly capable alone.” She grumbled as he all but lifted her out.
“I know.” He said, hiding his smirk.
“Where is he?” she asked once her feet where back on the ground and Ruin was being led away.
“Where do you think?”
They found Khadgar in barracks berating a young, new soldier who stood trembling and looking as though he’d rather be anywhere else in the world.
He did this every time she slipped out of the city without him accompanying her. As soon as he found out about the baby he put every new recruit on watch duty under the strict instruction she was to go nowhere without an armed guard. The idea was ridiculous and having their respect much more than he had it made it all too easy for her to order all of them to ignore his demands and the result was Khadgar’s daily tantrums whenever he couldn’t find her.
“Khad relax, I’m fine” she insisted, running her hand over her swollen belly as she walked towards him, stifling a yawn. The baby was due at any time now and she tired so easily.
“Oh, finally! I’ve been looking for you all morning.” He scolded, marching over to her and placing his hands on her belly as he planted a soft kiss on her.
“I just went out to see the troops, I’m going crazy stuck in here all day.”
“Did you know about this?” Khadgar asked, glaring at Lothar.
“Nothing to do with me spell-chucker” he said with a low chuckle, holding his hands up to protest his innocence.
“Khadgar honestly, I’m fine” she insisted, prying his hands away from her stomach. She’d been feeling uncomfortable and a little in pain all day long and didn’t want to be held.
Khadgar was already an incredible father, taking every opportunity he could to read to his unborn child or feel it moving inside her.
“Are you hungry? We could go out into the city to eat if you want to get out?”
She shook her head, “No, no I’m not hungry” she held a hand to her aching back “A bath maybe.”
Hours later she lay on her side in bed, Khadgar sleeping soundly beside her. She had been awake for hours. The pain in her stomach had grown gradually worse as the day wore on as her belly contracted and grew hard.
She threw the blankets back and sat on the edge of the bed, placing a hand on her stomach.
It had been manageable for most of the day and she had easily hid it from Khadgar, but now they were coming sooner and lasting longer and she didn’t think she could ignore them for much longer.
Another wave of pain swept over her and she grit her teeth against it, tears threatening at the corner of her eyes.
She was gasping when it finally receded and reached behind her to shake Khadgar “Khad, Khad wake up.”
He mumbled something in his sleep and moved to turn onto his side.
“Khadgar!” She snapped, turning and punching him in the arm.
Without opening his eyes he propped himself up on an elbow “Sweetheart it’s the middle of the night, what is it?”
“Your child is coming.”
“Can’t it wait until the morning?”
She waited.
A second later his eyes snapped open and he stared at her like he’d never seen a human face before her “The baby’s coming?” he scrambled out from beneath the covers and onto his feet “The baby is coming right now?”
“Right now. We need to get to the midwife.”
Khadgar was already darting around the room, half pulling on clothes before stopping to find the baby clothes they had set aside, then stopping again to pass Porenn a blanket she didn’t need before stopping again to bring her water.
“Khad! Calm down, one thing at a time,” She tried not to laugh at him, though she was thankful for the distraction from the pain “get dressed, then go find the midwife okay?”
He nodded slowly as his mind went a mile a minute “Okay, okay I can do that.”
A minute later, after planting a rough kiss on her lips, he had dashed out of the door and disappeared.
Slowly, Porenn got to her feet, grimacing every time her belly tightened and pain flooded her. She padded slowly across the room and had stopped, gripping the doorframe so hard the wood started to crack beneath her fingers as she rode out another contraction when Anduin appeared in front of her.
“You don’t appear to be getting very far.”
“Shut up” she snapped through grit teeth.
He laughed and pried her fingers from the doorframe and secured one arm around her back, the other taking her hand as he started to lead her away.
“Why are you awake?” She asked a moment later, gasping as the pain started to subdue.
“Your frantic lover banged loudly on my door on his way past, apparently the entire palace needs to know you’re in labour.”
“God I hate his enthusiasm.”
Anduin laughed “No you don’t, it’s why you love him.”
She glared at him “Shut up, his child is trying to forcibly eject itself from my body, I hate him.”
His amusement was impossible to hide “Of course you do.”
It felt as though the pain went on for days. Porenn lost all sense of time as she laboured, her body tired beyond any level of exhaustion she had ever felt before. She couldn’t imagine being this tired even after fighting a thousand battles all in succession.
She was lay on a bed that had been brought into the palace specifically for her labour. Sweat poured down her head and neck as she grit her teeth through her pushes.
Khadgar was with her, holding onto her leg and watching with a look of both awe and fear in his eyes.
Taria was there too. She had been in the room with the midwife when they had arrived, having instructed palace staff to wake her the second the midwife was woken for the labour and her presence had been invaluable. She had sat by Porenn’s side for hours, holding her hand and pressing a wet cloth to her forehead whenever she was too hot. The older and more experienced women had a calm about her that soothed both Porenn and Khadgar.
“You’re almost there now. On more push and baby’s head will be out.” The midwife kneeling between Porenn’s open legs was only a little older than she was but she was the best for miles.
“Are you ready sweetheart? It’s almost over.” Khadgar gave her a weary smile; he was almost as tired as she was.
She nodded, panting and locked eyed with Taria who smiled encouragingly and took her hand. Porenn was afraid she had broken the Queens fingers but the women hadn’t uttered a single complaint “Once you get through this the hardest part is over.” She promised.
“Okay, now… push.”
Her eyes snapped shut and she concentrated on pushing as hard as she could. Her whole body burned, she wanted to sleep for a month but she had to keep going.
“Push, push, push. That’s it, that’s it keep going.”
“You’re doing so well Renn. I’m so proud of you, you’re amazing.”
Her arms started to tremble and tired tears rolled down her cheeks as she felt the head emerge and she stopped, gasping for air, her head falling back.
“Oh my god. Oh my god..” she could hear Khadgar whispering in awe at the tiny head she knew he could see.
“Okay baby’s head is out. One last push Porenn, just one more push and baby will be here are you ready?”
She lifted her head back up “I’m ready.” She nodded, smiling weakly at Khadgar.
“I love you so much” he whispered to her.
“Last push now.” Taria said, grinning broadly.
“Okay push!”
She barely had time to register the pain as she pushed when she felt everything happen and collapsed in an exhausted heap the second her baby was out of her.
The midwife was smiling, Khadgar was frozen in awe and Taria was up on her feet, peering at the tiny bundle.
“Is everything okay?” she panted “is my baby okay? Is it alive?”
A cry filled the room and she smiled.
“Congratulations mama.” Taria said, wiping a tear from her eye.
She opened her eyes as the midwife handed the baby, all wrapped up in blankets and still crying, to Khadgar.
“It’s a boy, we have son.”
He took the seat beside her as Taria made way for him and she looked at her son for the first time.
A smile spread across her face “He looks just like you Khad.” The boy was the image of his father. They had the same nose, the same slightly rounded cheeks and the same blue eyes. He even had a little of his father’s dark hair.
Khadgar held the boy to his chest as he openly cried “I love you Renn, I love you so much. You’re the bravest person I’ve ever met.”
He leaned over to kiss her fiercely.
“Thank you” he continued “thank you for him. He’s perfect.”
She smiled “Of course he’s perfect. He’s yours.”
Hours later, in the middle of the night, Anduin made his appearance. The midwife had left, Taria had gone and Khadgar was asleep in a chair at the other end of room.
Porenn already knew Anduin had waited outside for the entirety of the seventeen hours she had laboured and so it was no surprise when the door cracked quietly open and peered around it.
“I hope I’m not disturbing you?” he asked before she motioned for him to enter.
“No, of course not. I just fed him, he’ll be asleep in no time.”
He smiled and crossed the room, setting the stuffed rabbit she had been carrying on the bed beside her. She smiled at it and picked it up, placing it in the blankets with the boy who was already falling asleep.
Anduin frowned “Are you sure you haven’t given birth to the spell-chucker?” he asked.
She chuckled weakly and placed the boy in his arms “He’s the image of his father, I know. If he hadn’t come out of me I wouldn’t believe he was mine.”
Anduin smiled adoringly at the boy “he’s beautiful. Truly your greatest achievement. What is his name?”
“Kota” she said, leaving over to run a finger over his impossibly soft cheek “but we haven’t told anyone else yet.”
“I won’t say a word” he promised “How are you?”
“Tired, but happier than I’ve ever been.”
“It is good to see. You deserve that happiness. And him?” He nodded towards where Khadgar was leaning back in the chair, his chest slowly rising and falling. She smiled at him; she was more in love with him than she had ever been.
“Overwhelmed I think. He’s never had a family before.”
“I would never have imagined that when I was presented with a runaway mage rummaging around in the barracks that we would end up here. You, mothering a child by him.”
“Neither would I.”
Big thank you to whoever sent me this request, this ended up being the perfect break I needed from uni work and I really enjoyed writing something not for uni for the first time in months, so thanks! Hoped it lived up to expectations.

*squee* I always pictured Khadgar with a draenei. I figured with all the time he spent in Outlands... he might have taken a liking to them. Loved your last ficlet, and putting in a vote for you to let it spiral out into a longer story. Also part of the 1% that thinks Khadgar needs an outlet for his dad jokes (that's code for 'GIVE THAT MAN A BABY'. Uh. Yeah okay, I'll quiet down now. But really - you write wonderful stories - keep it up! :3
Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it so much and thank you for reading. I've never pictured Khadgar with a baby before! But now I love the idea! Maybe I'll consider knocking my OC up if/when I bring her back

Apprentice
Pairing: Khadgar X Reader
Summary: Requested – Khadgar and his Dreanei mage apprentice visit Karazhan in search of an old book.
Word count: 2527
Warnings: Sex
A/N: I struggled a little with this one and I’m still not 100% happy with it. I just hope it does the request justice and is what the requester wanted. Please enjoy.
The ancient doors creaked loudly as Khadgar forced them open.
It had been months since he’d been there and the place had fallen into a state of disrepair. He stepped slowly instead, his apprentice Y/N behind him, holding up a lantern and bathing the room in a pale light that barely penetrated the oppressive shadows.
Their footsteps echoed as they entered the large circular room. Khadgar looked back over his shoulder at Y/N and smiled. There was no fear on her face. There never was.
She was a Draenei mage the Kirin Tor had sent to apprentice with him. She was intelligent and extremely talented. And not to mention pretty, very pretty. He liked to have her around.
The loneliness terrified him. He hadn’t wanted an apprentice for a long time, he resisted for as long as he possibly could but the Kirin Tor eventually insisted and he couldn’t refuse any longer. It was his duty to partake in the training for the next generation of mages.
In truth, he didn’t want to be alone.
The loneliness had killed Medivh. It had eaten him from the inside out, twisted and warped him until only a sad, misguided man remained. Khadgar couldn’t help but wonder how different things may have been in Medivh hadn’t been so alone.
Garona too. The loneliness was crushing to her. Not fully human, not fully orcan. She was truly alone. A half-breed straddling two worlds with no real home in either.
And Anduin. Anduin worst of all. Widowed and with his only child lost he turned to alcohol in his loneliness. It was destroying him.
Khadgar’s heart ached to think of the pain Anduin had endured. The loss of his son had been hard on him. It had changed him forever. No one knew how to speak to him anymore, or how to be around him. But how does someone cope with the one thing they’re never supposed to experience? There are words to describe a person with a dead spouse or dead parents. But no name for those who have buried a child.
Because how can words be enough to describe the most unimaginable thing of all?
Everyone Khadgar admired. Everyone he loved and cared for, all of them crippled by the loneliness.
“Are you sure it’s here?” She asked, her voice echoing through the darkness.
He nodded “I’m sure. Medivh spoke of it once. He wouldn’t have kept it anywhere else.”
She drew back her hood and stepped into the centre of the room as the door closed softly behind them. She held up her lantern and gazed around. Karazhan truly was a sight to behold. There was no larger collection of books in the world. It always took Khadgar’s breath away.
A long bang off to the right echoed through the silence, startling them both. Khadgar span as the shadows seemed to shift. Out of the darkness a long forgotten Arcane Protector emerged, lurching towards them.
“The Sentry! Look out!”
Y/N thrust her hand out and fired a barrage of arcane missiles at the creature, piercing it in a dozen pieces and sending it crashing to its knees before Khadgar had the chance to react.
He didn’t bother to hide his impressed smirk.
“I thought you said this place is safe?” she frowned at him.
He chuckled “No, what I said there shouldn’t be too much chance of us dying.” He corrected her.
“Well that’s comforting.” She grumbled.
“Don’t worry” he said “it’s just one of Medivh’s old defences, we shouldn’t encounter any more difficulties. Probably.”
She glared at him.
She moved quietly through the room, lighting the lanterns from her own and bringing light back into the room.
“What does it look like?” her voice echoed across the room as she disappeared between the stacks, still carrying her lantern with her.
“Uh.. it’s big. Blue with a broken spine and a strange symbol on the cover. You’ll know it when you see it.”
Y/N continued her search through the stacks as Khadgar started to search through the other side of the room. He knew he should spend more of his time here, perhaps even taken up residence, but the memories of the place cut him too deeply and he preferred to spend his time in Stormwind with the generals of The Alliance.
The room gave him chills, though it wasn’t cold. The last time he had been here Medivh had died. He could feel that itch in the middle of his spine, as though eyes were on him, waiting for the opportune moment to bury a dagger in him. He was sure The Fel still inhabited the walls here in some small way.
His footsteps echoed as he walked around the stacks. He paused beside a shelf and pulled out a dusty old tome that may have been the one he was looking for. As he pulled the book free from the shelf several others became alive and flew from their sleepy homes on the shelves behind him, flinging themselves at him.
Khadgar ducked and rolled out of the way, his hands moving on instinct and summoning a ball of fire he released up into the air, incinerating the enchanted books and sending them fluttering back down as nothing more than shards of ash.
“Khadgar? Are you alright?” Y/N appeared at the end of the aisle, her eyes wide and alert.
He nodded, pulling himself back up onto his feet “Medivh’s old defences again” he said almost absentmindedly, looking around at the room “I’d forgotten how paranoid he was” he chuckled sadly.
He offered him a kind smile then said “I think I’ve found it.”
He followed her down one of the aisle to where she had pulled a book half free from its home amongst a dozen other nondescript tomes. This one however was suspended in mid-air, held in a sphere of arcane magic that glowed with a soft light. Runes circled around the book and the sphere, protecting it from intruders.
He stepped up beside her, leaning towards the sphere. His chest brushed up against her shoulder and she looked up at him with a pinch of a blush in her cheeks she was grateful he hadn’t glanced down in time to see.
“Protective runes. Do you recognise them?” she asked in a soft voice. Her face was bathed in the blue light of the sphere, making her look more beautiful than Khadgar had ever seen.
Her glowing blue eyes shone with an iridescence he had never noticed was there.
“I do” he said eventually “But do you?”
She glanced up at him, a little unsure of herself, then nodded “I think so” she said.
“Good” he said “deactivate them.”
She nodded as Khadgar took the lantern from her and put it down on the shelf in front of him. She closed her eyes and focused herself before she started working.
Khadgar watched her, smiling to himself at the look of concentration on her face as she worked. Her hands moved delicately, forming shapes and patterns in the air in front of her, magic glowing around her and leaving traces in the air as she muttered beneath her breath, her lips moving as she spoke the incantation.
As she watched the runes circling above them began to fade and crumbled, falling completely out of the air as they faded to nothingness, like the fluttering embers of a bonfire.
She opened her eyes as the last rune fell and the sphere winked out of existence. She smiled as the book fell and she caught it before handing it to Khadgar.
“Excellent” he said, turning the tome over in his hands “You did well tonight Y/N”
He tucked the book away safely inside his robes then frowned as he looked down at her. He bit back a smirk as he brought his hand forward to wipe dust away from her cheek. In her search through the stacks it had become smeared across her face.
He felt her stiffen under his touch as his thumb ran across her cheek and his hand cupped the side of her face.
Her skin was warm and delicately soft under his hand. He didn’t want to let go.
They looked at each other for a long moment as he caressed her face and she felt her skin come alive with goosebumps. She had fantasised about Khadgar for many months. He was dazzling to behold and she had often thought about what it feel like if the older man where to kiss her. Now, with the electricity between them evident, she ached to find out.
Enticed by the glow in her eyes and the allure of her plump lips Khadgar let instinct rule and leaned in to press his mouth hungrily against hers.
She reached up to clutch at him as his arms wrapped around her and pulled her against his body. He kissed her hard and she opened her mouth, allowing him to slip his tongue into hers as he hand came up to hold the back of her head.
They stumbled backwards, losing their balance as they kissed fiercely and began to pull at each other’s clothes. They cloaks were discarded to the floor and lay forgotten.
“You’re so beautiful” Khadgar panted, taking her by the jaw and turning her head to plant open mouthed kisses to her neck “I’ve wanted to do this for long.”
“Khadgar..” she stammered, unable to think clearly enough to form words.
Her breath was coming in needy pants and she could feel heat building between her thighs as his hands and mouth roamed her body. He kissed down her neck and across her shoulder as he pulled her shirt open and she pulled at his breeches.
Khadgar pulled his tunic and shirt off over his head as they stumbled backwards away and crashed into the shelves, sending books crashing to the ground in their haste.
Y/N pulled the tie in his breeches lose as she felt him hard and pressed against her hip. Her hand slipped into his breeches and she began to rub him through his small clothes as he re-joined their mouths.
Khadgar’s hands had found her hips and they slid up over her stomach and sides, bringing her shirt with them. They broke their kiss only long enough to allow him time to be rid of her shirt before she pulled him back in.
Khadgar’s hands ran down her chest, cupping her breasts and teasing her nipples with the pressure of his thumbs. She pulled away and moaned, her eyes fluttering shut as he rolled them between his thumbs and fore fingers.
Her head fell back and the most exquisite noises tumbled from her lips as he dipped his head. He pressed the flat of his tongue against one nipple before sucking it into his mouth and swirling his tongue around it as his thumb rolled over the other.
Y/N was panting and moaning, holding the back of his head.
“Khadgar…. Khadgar please” she whined, squirming “I want you.”
Her needy voice sent a shiver down his spine and he brought his mouth back up to hers as he pulled her breeches and small clothes down, leaving her naked before him.
His hands ran over her hips and her backside. Down her thighs and back up, all the time avoiding where she needed him most. He watched her, his brown eyes locked onto hers blue as he did, smirking at the desperate need etched on her face as he prolonged the moment.
Y/N, determined not to let him control their entire encounter pulled his own breeches down. His cock sprang free, already hard and touching his stomach. She smiled devilishly at him and gave him a chaste kiss as she circled the head with her thumb, smearing the pre-cum that dripped from her.
Khadgar’s breath caught and he groaned deep in his throat. His hand came up sharply and she felt two fingers press themselves into her, making her gasp as she curled them towards the front of her pelvis.
She wrapped her hand around him, slowly pumping him from base to tip. Khadgar moaned and moved his fingers faster. Y/N’s chest heaved as she panted. The heel of Khadgar’s hand added pressure to her clit and she tightened her gripped and moved faster as she felt orgasm building as his fingers moved in and out of her. Khadgar was panting, biting her neck as he felt himself coming closer to release.
“Shit..” she groaned “Stop, stop! Not yet” she panted, letting go of him and pulling his hand away before she came.
Khadgar nodded and wrapped his arms around her backside, picking her up and wrapping her legs around his middle. He perched her backside on the very edge of one of the shelves and untangled one of his arms from around her, using it to hold himself steady at her entrance.
“Are you sure you want to do this?” he asked, sweat beading on his forehead as he pressed it against hers.
She took hold of the sides of his face and pulled him in for a lingering, sweet kiss. The thumb of the hand still holding onto her gently rubbed the small of her back.
“I’m sure” she whispered against his lips.
Khadgar’s hips surged forward and he entered her in one swift movement, burying himself in her and instantly finding her sweet spot. She gasped and her head fell back as he did. He set a relentless pace without pausing to allow her time to adjust.
