I was quite looking forward to getting back home in time for the race... Unfortunately, the time change means my workplace is still open and needing cleaning up by the time it's lights out. Hopefully, I've managed to record the right thing so I can watch it later.

Had the radio on for the race start as I was taking my brother home.... As soon as I heard about the spinning RB, I had a feeling it was Yuki....

Shame, he was looking fast all weekend!!

But Alex as well as collateral?!? NOOOO!!!

For me, the one redeeming quality of this race is that Charles is still leading.

The other drivers I like have had disasters of varying levels.

Thought I'd jump on the new art trend, see how I fair.

On the left we have a warm up, based on the original picture used to start this trend.

On the right, we have Yuki Tsunoda, the F1 driver I chose as my subject. And drew him with the Japanese Maple Leaves and Wisteria flowers. They feel the most appropriate for him.

(I don't have any colours with me as I'm at work, but it'd be interesting to paint rather than pen and pencil drawing)

Finally watched the Italian Grand Prix:

OMG CHARLES WIN!!!! FORZA FERRARI!!! Give Driver of the Day to the Ferrari pitwall for that strategy call!!!

Glad the Tifosi crowd got to see a masterclass from their team. Like Seb Vettel said: Even if you're not a Ferrari fan, you're a Ferrari fan.

Overall, even though he got a time penalty (which was justified based on the rules) I thought Magnussen actually drove a fantastic race.

And finally, can someone take Yuki Tsunoda's Monza curse and pain, double it, and give it to Christian Horner. Thanks.

I was out for a meal with my work buddies during the majority of the Spurs match.

Unfortunately on the way back, I heard the Bentancur injury on the radio. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery.

And how people dealt with the screaming kids throughout I will never know - I struggled with the 20 mins I listened to on my drive home!!

I've spent all morning at work sketching some F1 drivers, keeping on top of the Olympics and making the odd coffee. Fair to say it's been a slow day so far...
