at first light is 50+ beautiful pages of charity fanzine dedicated to Kurahara Kakeru and Kiyose Haiji, and the love that lights them up — whether it’s the sun rising on a new day, or their future written clear in the stars, or the brilliant glow they see in each other. For a full list of creators, please look here.
All proceeds will be donated to the Bay Area Outreach & Recreation Program, a San Francisco Bay Area non-profit working to improve the health, independence, and social integration of people with physical disabilities through sports, fitness, and recreation programs.
After a long wait, the leftovers have been put up in our store! We know a lot of you have been asking for them and we’re excited to be able to finally announce it. We will not be doing any reprints, so this is your very last chance to be able to snag anything you were eyeing!
Leftovers will now be on sale at our store link until February 29, 2020. Any sales afterwards will be handled through other means because we are now being charged for having Paypal processing in our store. The store may close earlier if all physical items have been sold out.
Thank you to everyone for your endless support and patience. We never would’ve made it up the mountains of Hakone without you all!

Update on Shipping:
XY here. The store is open again.
I’ve adjusted postage prices so you can buy two bookmarks maximum at letter mail price. As the shipping rules are by weight, it’s currently not possible for me to do something more nuanced, like only buying more than two bookmarks will cost the letter mail price. Doing fixed shipping charges the shipping according to the quantity (e.g., buying two bookmarks will charge you for shipping twice), so I disabled that and refunded anyone affected.
This is the same reason that the washi tape weight is fudged; it bypasses this shipping rule that’s been set-up. Washi tape will get charged as a package regardless of how much weight is regardless due to strict classification rules from the USPS about types of mail.
The shop is now reopen. If you want to buy three marks at letter mail price, you will need to email us directly at [email protected] to arrange letter mail shipping. As it says in the bookmark description, letter mail shipping is inherently riskier than package shipping and does not come with a tracking number. Use at your own risk.

Store will be closed for a very short amount of time to fix the postage prices.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

‪Just made aware that there isn't a shipping tier for extremely light items (like just bookmarks). XY will adjust later today. Anyone affected by this will get a partial refund.‬ We're very sorry for this inconvenience.

Happy new year, everyone! We have just donated a total of $802 USD from a total of 83 orders.
This would not have been possible without everyone’s support and the hard work of the creators. Thank you so much! We know we’ve had so many issues during the run of this zine, but everyone has been unbelievably patient and gracious with us and we are always grateful.
On an ending note, we will be putting leftovers up, but XY has to count those and set up the store before making an announcement.

After taking a look at the tracking numbers, we noticed that a few of the older orders do not show as delivered. We would like to reach out to these buyers first to confirm this is the case before making the donation. Thank you very much for your patience during this long process.

Do you think everything will arrive and be shipped off before the end of November? Thanks.
Hello, XY here. I'm not sure when this came in as we're way past the end of November. Unfortunately, the answer is no and I realize the delay is frustrating. Thank you for your patience.

Known Bug: Wrong mailing address in dispatch emails for international orders
Hi all, XY here.
I'm aware of an issue where the dispatch email from the store will have a different mailing address than the original order. As far as I know, this has only affected international orders. I'm currently not sure why this is happening or where the wrong addresses are coming from.
However, don't worry if you get one of these emails. The address your order was mailed to is the mailing address from the original PO/invoice that you gave us. I manually correct dispatch emails if I notice it, but I don't catch them all.
