(Funny how people are getting so fussy about KK Escapes, like a giant robot seems so out of place for a giant monster franchise. These are just for fun guys, don't take it too seriously.)

Excited for Skull Island! So some Fan Art! First, a Kong 2020 Concept Image. Essentially, this is Kong when he has matured and grown up to fight Goji in 2020. Also, had to give him his ‘special ability’.

And then, the fun piece, I put together a monsterverse cinematic timeline. This features the four movies we have and are coming out, and the rest are movies I would love to see happen! (Legendary can totally get their hands on the big turtle, come on now) I decided not to separate it into phases, but it could either be Phase 1 ends after GvK, or after. You decide.

Just to reiterate, this is all fan art, NOT REAL!

Man, Toho strikes Godzilla: Heritage Fan Film down. It’s been a long time with this project, and this news is harsh. I still hope to see the preview, and to all backers, you will also be able to view it!

In other news, the Godzilla anime is coming to Netflix this year, FYI.

A Post-Gorath Toho World

Thoughts on Projects

With all the drama ensuing on kaiju gaiden doc, it’s nice to see Godzilla: Heritage still continues forward. The monsters are all going to be CGI, but I think it could still be awesome. And with continued rumors on Godzilla vs. The Wolf Man’s release, it would be nice to see one of these projects completed.

Funny, because that one guy who makes the deep sea monster movies is making a third one. He is doing something right.

Kiju monster game is coming along. Animation was done in Creature: http://creature.kestrelmoon.com/

Then assembled into an interactive game in Unreal Engine. 

This was done as a way to showcase Creature for the Upcoming Game Developers Conference. 

More monsters coming soon. Maybe even a playable version!

From the fan film Godzilla vs The Wolfman. This footage looks like it was filmed straight out of 1962. Pretty awesome. Also, on kaiju gaiden’s FB Page, their cover photo states this film is finally coming out in 2016. Fingers Crossed.

Been a long time since I updated the Blog. Coming Back at you with some photos from G: Heritage.

So, G Heritage Phase 2 Kickstarter didn’t succeed. But there is a ray of hope, a donor was able to give them enough to make a short film sequence, like 10 min, that will hope to release either at the end of this year or early next year. And then, they will try one more kickstarter to make the rest of the film. Share this facebook page, and stay tuned for more to come.
