"I do what I can when I'm not too busy with my own studies at school. Hell, I've even invited him to come spend some time at the dorms with me." Kai said. "And thank you, I think it helps that I was the oldest out of the friend group." He joked.

" The best option is to try and keep him out of trouble...maybe be around him more often, you're not a bad influence on him, Kai."

"Oh come on Stella, don't give me the cold shoulder and treat me like shit." Kai looked at Stella. "You don't get to treat me like shit just because Gossip Girl broke the news about you being adopted."

Stella pursed her lips and looked at Kai. "You think that just because we've been hanging out, you have a right to my feelings?" She asked. She knew she was being unfair to Kai, he had always been kind to her and he wasn't a bad guy, but she needed to let her anger out on someone. "News flash, this isn't a Disney movie, so you can't."

"While I was away on my surf trip, Elise and I apparently got married."

"I know and I'm not gonna push her on anything, she knows I'm here or her if she needs to talk." Kai looked at Hal. "How are things with Amber? Doesn't her tour start soon?"

"Ah, I thought so. Just give her some time, Kai. Maybe she needs time to sort through our family thing, she's not really used to everything yet. Neither am I but we just have to stick it out until it comes back to normalcy." Hal told his friend and looked at him. "Once everything has settled down, that's when you should go and confront her about it."

Kai laughed. "Not all beer is bad, but then again, I like the taste of beer and most people don't." He shrugged.

"They like beer, Kia, it's all bad." Kiara looed at him and laughed. "It won't piss them off, they'll just be happy that they have beer."

Kai laughed. "I mean, sometimes the crappy beer just helps better when you're stressed." He shrugged.

"you can also say no to crappy beer as well." andrew laughed and looked at kai. "it's a great life lesson."

"Maybe she sees something in Rafe that we don't?" Kai suggested. "I'm just trying to play Devil's Advocate here; but sometimes shit people like Rafe just need a good influence like Maeve to turn their life around and maybe Maeve is the one to help Rafe out of whatever demons he's wrestling." He shrugged. "I heard about that, I don't think it's legal how you two are married."

"I don't really know her that well either to be honest but Vanessa was investigating Rafe for me so I knew that he has been seen with her a lot these days." Elise explained to him and nodded. "Viv works under Vanessa and I'm sure she would've told her best friend about it. I just don't know why Maeve still goes out with him." She added and shook her head. "Not at all. Me and Elijah are married. I don't know how my mom and his parents did that but I'm so done with this already."

"It does, yeah." Kai laughed. "How are you all liking being in New York? I know it's probably a whole new world compared to North Carolina and the Outer Banks, huh?'

Pope chuckled. "If it makes you feel better, I feel like this is something that JJ and John B would drink."

"Damn, you're just getting straight to the point, aren't you?" Kai asked with a laugh. "Though, I don't have an answer for you, I'm sorry. One minute she likes me and is telling me she likes me and then the next, she's giving me the cold shoulder." He explained. "You'd be better off asking her."

"You're very welcome." Ella laughed. "Now, want to tell me what's going on with you and Stella?"

"Well if you two were just gonna hurt each other in the end, then it's a good thing that you ended things with him." Kai looked at Viv.

"Fine, I'll tell you." Vivienne rolled her eyes and sighed. "I just broke up with Topper, Kai. I'll miss him but if we didn't break up, both of us will get hurt somehow along the way." She confided in him and explained what she was thinking about. "You were right, it's the right thing to do."

Kai nodded. "Well I think you need to be honest. No matter who it'll hurt." He said. "And I know that shit sucks, but still."

"It's saying Luke to be honest." Colin looked at Kai. "Though, I know it'll hurt Elise and I don't want that."

"College is going really well, actually." Kai looked at her. "Which is surprising because I want to be a biochemist andthat shit is not easy."

"You're not supposed to agree with that." Waverly laughed and looked at him. She knew he was teasing though. "I'm doing good. How about you? How's college going for you?"

"I just don't know what else to do." Kai admitted. "He's a good kid and I know how much bullshit our frie d group has ebeen through since Gossip Girl came into the picture."

" I can feel it myself, in school... Everyone looks like they are walking on eggshells." She admitted. "If it's best for him... But I wouldn't recommend leaving him alone."

"No, I just think that the stress of everything that's been going on with everyone lately, Asher might want to breakaway from the friend group. Which, I wouldn't blame him."

" That's potentially true ... I don't know a different reality, I've lived with gossip girl since highschool, I can honestly say it's not better but I sometimes choose not to get to me... sometimes" she shrugged. "You think he can do something he's going to regret later on?"
