Watching the Titanic for the hundredth time

[She laughs] Right. Yeah, I read big books and they always insist on containing nothing but smart words. I guess at some point I subconsciously started to pick up on them. [An intrigued smirk appears on her face as she stifles a chuckle] That’s actually quite funny — I was on the local cheersquad. I believe there are pictures [she shakes her head and laughs] Aw, [she gives him a sympathetic look] Well — I’m sure all you need is a little practice. If you want something bad enough, you’d be surprised what you can achieve.

You use.. Smart words I guess, that's what tipped me off. [He nodded] Yeah I was a bit of a rebel. [He smirked lightly] I bet you would have been amazing as a head cheerleader.. Probably could have rocked the outfits too.. [He bit the inside of his lip, thinking of what she would look like in one of those, he slapped himself -mentally.] Well, I certainly am different, no argument there. [He pauses] I have tried, I just step on peoples feet like.. All the time, I'm unco-ordinated, and a clutz.

Do I? [she smiles, flattered] Well — I’ll take that as a compliment. [She smirks] Ah, so you were a bit of a rebel then. You do know it’s forbidden to fraternize with ‘losers’ right? [she says jokingly, imitating the voice of your average teenage cheerleader] That makes you different and in my book different is good. Especially in a town where everything and everyone stays the same [she smiles sympathetically] Why haven’t you tried? With all the dancing shows you’ve watched, I’m sure you’d have a leg up.

"No." He said, cutting her off in mid sentence. He stepped back a bit. It's not like he didn't want her around, he liked having her company because she made him feel normal again, he sighed deeply. Kaide moved his hand a little in front of him when she came closer. "Please.. Just.. Go." He frowned and glanced down.

"But Maxine.. If we keep trying this, I'll get worse, and I'll get stronger. I'll probably kill you, and your blood is.." He rubbed over his head and caught sight of her eyes; he looked away and turned his back on her like it was easy. "See you, Maxine... I guess it was nice knowing you." He glanced down and cleared his throat and left the basement area as quickly as he could.

What type of Paperwork?

Ah, The classics, I could have guess that. You have that old style look about you. [He smiles] A Jock? Well, I won't lie.. I was in highschool, just to fit in. I dated the cheerleaders and all, but secretly spoke with the weirdos. [chuckles] Yeah.. I'm not as manly as I look, never had been manly. Oh-oh.. No, I  may have a love for it, but I can't do it. At all.

I am a car person [she admits] Just the classic ones though. Not the crap Lambourghini and Ferrari produce these days. Those things put together could probably form Optimus Prime. [She nods] You look like the kinda guy that would be a jock — you know, broad shoulders and well, the whole shebang [she blinks as he confesses to never have missed an episode of Dancing on Ice or Strictly Come Dancing] You’re kidding. Really? Whoa — I really was wrong about you [she stifles a chuckle] That’s swell though. I respect your love for dancing.

Well, first time I almost did was sexual tension, second time was anger and sadness... [He shrugged] It probably does hurt normal werewolves too..

So you shifted because of…? Emotional stress? Anger? …..Sexual tension? [Trying not to make the last question sound awkward] I’m not sure if a normal were would be in pain or not, I’ve met very few. I could look into it if you wanted?

Thats pretty cool, I was more into Biology. I'm a vet at the animal clinic. 

I’m really questioning my faith in humanity right now...

I’m into chemistry. I want to be a teacher. [She smiles lightly] Eh, I suppose you can say that.

I've only shifted One and a Half times. And the Half wasn't even all the way. My body was in too much pain.. I'm not one of those full moon mutts. [Shrugging] Kaide. [He shook it.] 

Does it usually hurt when you shift? I’m Aiden by the way. [he held out his hand]

Oh, You're a car person. [He wrinkled up his nose.] I never understood the obsession of cars from the male population. [He shrugged, He truely had no idea how to work a car, he preferred walking, running.. ] My gym teacher used to force me to do baseball.. But it was alright, I like watching it though. [pausing.] Okay.. I've never missed an episode of Dancing on Ice, or Strictly come dancing.

Butch things? You mean like manly — masculine things? [she gives him a thoughtful look] I have a thing for classic cars — and speaking of cars, I also enjoy watching Top Gear, even though I’m pretty sure anyone with a decent sense of humor while lacking a love for cars could still enjoy the show. Oh, and I love baseball. Would you consider any of those three things butch?
