unpopular onion but i think ppl should be able to live comfortably working part-time. ppl always say "full-time" and yeah... but aren't you implying that part-time workers don't deserve that? why does my life have to be so full of work, why can't i have time that's MINE?? time to do what i want to do for myself.

I was thinking of reasons for why i should get better at art and I thought, if I can do more commission work, i could possibly supplement my income so that i don't have to work full time- even tho doing commissions IS work, so technically i would be working full time... but at least i'm doing smthn i give a semi shit about. and shouldn't it be the other way around? shouldn't i be able to do something i care about MORE and work part-time at some dumbass job to supplement THAT income? this makes me want to die.

i mean actually i think everyone should be able to live comfortably without working if they don't want to/can't. i really don't think there are as many genuinely lazy people on earth as ppl think.

anyway i'm going to the weedstore in a bit, their website says almost everything is 40% off yippee

reading the wiki for the american psycho movie every single thing it’s saying about christian bale has me in tears …….. he literally wanted the role so bad he got that buff in two weeks, rejected every other offer for 9 months while the producers tried to get dicaprio to be patrick bateman bc bale knew dicaprio would chicken out, went to dinner with the director and the guy who wrote the novel IN CHARACTER apparently scaring the shit out of the novelist, took the role for $50k, and then made all his costars think he was a giant freak bc he never fucking broke character, and APARENTLY LITERALLY HAS CONTROL OVER HIS SWEAT GLANDS AND USED THIS IN THE BUSINESS CARD SCENE

People might bring up Vincent van Gogh as an example of a painter who did great work in spite of, or because of, his suffering. I like to think that van Gogh would have been even more prolific and even greater if he wasn't so restricted by the things tormenting him. I don't think it was pain that made him so great, I think painting brought him whatever happiness he had.
