Kai was actually quite surprised he had won the bidding in the end, not that he was complaining, Annie was certainly hot and her innocence was enticing to him. She was a rare challenge.

The date on the other hand, was going to be another challenge. He had never ridden a horse before, nor was he particularly sure that he even liked horses but he was sure she wasn’t going to be expecting some sort of galloping into the sunset type deal. Right?

Sure, this wasn’t exactly how she’d planned this date night, or rather who she had hoped would win her, but she liked Kai, he always seemed to have an interest in her too. She had spent most of the day preparing, she went down to the old ranch, saddled up two horses and led them out to the beach where she had told him to meet her. She’d even packed a little midnight picnic, as promised. Still, she was nervous, she wasn’t sure what was going to happen, and she didn’t like uncertainty.

The blonde was stood by the horses, petting one of them with a small smile when she noticed someone coming up the beach towards her. “Hey!”

Not even after your shift?” he pouted playfully “I thought maybe we could go catch one of those drive-in movies, bit of a cliche American thing, but I never got to do one before” he laughed

Kai turned around at the barrage of questions suddenly “Hey Tinkerbell” he laughed “Yes it looks okay, you look cute, No I wouldn’t have worn it, no it’s just the right level without being brash” he laughed, and stepped forward and kissed her “All in all, its a dress that would certainly turn my head” he smiled with a wink “And I’d certainly try getting you out of”

She sighed when he replied with ‘tinkerbell’. Of course he would tell her she looked cute. When would he ever not tell her that? Her hands moving to his hips as he moved closer, and she just looked up after the kiss. “You are not getting me out of the dress, Kai. I am supposed to let clients get me out of it, not fellow escorts. And thank you. I can always trust you to call me cute”

Kai turned around at the barrage of questions suddenly “Hey Tinkerbell” he laughed “Yes it looks okay, you look cute, No I wouldn’t have worn it, no it’s just the right level without being brash” he laughed, and stepped forward and kissed her “All in all, its a dress that would certainly turn my head” he smiled with a wink “And I’d certainly try getting you out of”

“Okay, I am really unsure about this dress… Does it look okay? Would you have worn it? Or should I try to find a different one? Maybe it is a bit too colorful… I’m so sorry for just asking you, but you were the first one I ran into and yeah”

Yeah my high school English Teacher” he laughed and smirked at the girl “Biggest question is do they look good and is the pain worth it in the end?”

“I like pain, but fuck. New nipple piercings hurts more than a fucking whip does. Ever done anything you sort of regret after, but still can’t regret too much?”

He smirked and leant in closer to her ear and huskily whispered “Anything you have to offer” he purred against her ear as his hand slowly slid around and rested on her ass

I’ll keep that in mind” he smirked twirling her around before pulling her back to him “I haven’t decided yet, it all depends if any of them catch my eye or offer me anything I want” he said nonchalantly and then smirked ‘Or if I get a better offer in the meantime”

“What constitutes as a better offer?“she asked curiously, she didn’t always talk to escorts so informally, so it was interesting to pick apart their brains a little. Eden wasn’t entirely sure what to make of him, but that was the fun part.

I’ll keep that in mind” he smirked twirling her around before pulling her back to him “I haven’t decided yet, it all depends if any of them catch my eye or offer me anything I want” he said nonchalantly and then smirked ‘Or if I get a better offer in the meantime”

You know if you just wanted to put your hands on me you only had to ask” he teased as he pulled her closer to him and slowly began to move her round the room

“When I want more, you’ll know.“she promised, drawing a bit of a line. “So you’re bidding tonight?“ She liked to think she was a decent dancer when she wasn’t entirely overwhelmed, he wasn’t bad either.

“Just seems a little strange if you ask me” he said absently “I mean do you refer to each other as boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife, is he still technically your ex-husband and then technically just your ex”

Bit strange don’t you think, I mean you’re relationship will always be a stage lower then what it used to be” he thought aloud “I mean can it really work when you’re constantly a step back?”

“When you get hurt it takes a while to recover, who knows maybe one day we’ll be back to normal, it just might take a while.” she said defensively. “It can, and it will.”

You know if you just wanted to put your hands on me you only had to ask” he teased as he pulled her closer to him and slowly began to move her round the room

Oh really” he smirked and leant in close to her ear “I think you need to prove that” he said as he slowly slid his hands down her back after letting go of the zip “Eden? Like the garden of paradise; I feel there must be some irony in that”

“It means my parents wanted me to be forbidden.“she clarified. “If your hands are gonna stay there, we should probably dance.“ She compulsively adjusted his collar.

Bit strange don’t you think, I mean you’re relationship will always be a stage lower then what it used to be” he thought aloud “I mean can it really work when you’re constantly a step back?”

How casual we talking?” Kai asked with a smirk, intrigued that she seemed in no hurry to be fully locked down again “You sure he knows that its not as locked down as he’d like”

“I don’t know, we’re not seeing other people, discussing living together, but i’m keeping my apartment and we’re not getting remarried or anything.” she said with a shrug. “I guess i’ve never really been with one person before, it’s kind of weird.” she admitted, biting her lower lip. “He should, I’ve been open with him about everything?”

How casual we talking?” Kai asked with a smirk, intrigued that she seemed in no hurry to be fully locked down again “You sure he knows that its not as locked down as he’d like”

kai-altman :

That sounds pretty settled to me, that’s committing to a marriage after all” he shrugged as he leant over the bar and grabbed a bottle of beer “And how is it working out?”

Shaking her head Alex chuckled. “”No, we’re not getting remarried anytime soon, honestyly, i’m not sure I would ever remarry after last time. It’s a casual relationship that’s about it. I love him, but i’m still a bit cautious after last time.”

That sounds pretty settled to me, that’s committing to a marriage after all” he shrugged as he leant over the bar and grabbed a bottle of beer “And how is it working out?”

kai-altman :

Well that is a deep shame” he said with a smirk “I did hear you had gone and settled down”

Laughing she shrugged. “I’m attempting to fix things with my ex husbad. I wouldn’t exactly say settled down, we’re taking it slow and seeing if we can get things right the second time.”

Oh really” he smirked and leant in close to her ear “I think you need to prove that” he said as he slowly slid his hands down her back after letting go of the zip “Eden? Like the garden of paradise; I feel there must be some irony in that”

Well that doesn’t mean the night needs to end, it could go down now and up again before the auction even begins’ he purred as he stepped behind her and did as she asked slowly pulling the zip up her back

“I’m sort of an all nighter.“she explained. “Not that it isn’t tempting.“she assured him. She straightened up once her dress felt a bit more secure. She took a deep breath and smiled, ”I’m Eden.“

Well that is a deep shame” he said with a smirk “I did hear you had gone and settled down”

And is one able to put a private bid on the boss?“ Kai asked licking his lips

“The boss is very much off limits sweetheart, but cute try.” she teased with a wink.

Well that doesn’t mean the night needs to end, it could go down now and up again before the auction even begins’ he purred as he stepped behind her and did as she asked slowly pulling the zip up her back

Help you pull it up or help pull it the rest of the way down?” he asked with a smirk and gentle lick of his lips

“Very cute. Up would be preferable.“she said, her nerves were already on edge. “Unzipping me requires the evening to be finished, and I’m quite certain I’m not done with my night yet.“ Despite her anxiety, she could still give him a bemused smile.

Help you pull it up or help pull it the rest of the way down?” he asked with a smirk and gentle lick of his lips

“I think my zipper decided to embarrass me by descending a bit, I can’t reach it, do you mind?“ If the damn thing couldn’t be properly secured she was going to have to burn it later.

And is one able to put a private bid on the boss?" Kai asked licking his lips

“Well tonight is going to keep me very busy, i’m not even sure if i’ll have time to put in a bid on anyone.”

Is this your way of getting me to check you out baby girl" Kai asked looking up "because you just need to come closer for me to do that

“Excuse me– yeah, you. Is there a spider on me? I feel like I’m covered in them. God– There was a web right on the way up here that was like, the worst experience I’ve ever had, just FYI. I thought there were cleaners in this place or something, now I’m covered in bugs.”
