Products used for my Gold Glitter Eye

**I used MAC's Bamboo, Brown Script & Swiss Chocolate as my transition/blending colors **Then I used Charlotte Tilbury's 'Dolce Vita' pallet blended on the lower lash line, and as a brown bone & inner corner highlight and the glitter shade pop on the lid **Adding MAC's Reflects Glitter Gold on top to add that extra sparkle. What’s cool about this product is that it looks white in the container but turns into this beautiful reflective gold once pressed onto the lid **Brows- Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Dark Brow **Lips- MAC Viva Glam Ariana Grande **Lashes- Kiss

CROWN BRUSH

I recently picked up a few new eye brushes for my kit at the Irish Beauty Show from the Crown Brush stand. I have never tried this brand before but the quality seems amazing and the price point compared to some of the other brush brands I use was amazing. Really looking forward to trying these out on my clients and hopefully picking up some more. Maybe i’ll try some face brushes next.

EDITORIAL MAKEUP

I loved attending Sue Brophy’s Editorial Demo at the Irish Beauty Show. Editorial work in Ireland is something I am working towards and learning from Sue was inspiring. Here she created natural glowing skin with an editorial colored eye. I learned about lighting, working with photographers, products for my kit etc.. I hope to see Sue again and her beautiful work.

Irish Beauty Show, RDS, Dublin 

I attended the Irish Beauty Show last Monday. This was the first large scale Beauty event i have attended since moving from NY to Ireland. It was a great opportunity to stock up on products for my kit (I purchased so any new brushes from Crown brush and Blank Canvas..the quality is amazing and the discount price was even better!) I also was very interested attending makeup demos from some of my favorite Irish Makeup Artists. Tara O’Farrell Anderson also known as Tara Makeup seen in the picture doing a ‘Glam Bridal’ look was amazing. I finally got the opportunity to meet her and talk makeup. What else do us makeup artists do? :) It’s a great opportunity go to these Beauty Events and make friends with fellow Makeup Artists in the industry and start making a name for yourself. I hope to attend plenty more in the coming months!

Red Glitter Lips

Experimanting with glitter on the lips. Here I used MAC Steam Heat Lipstick & Cherry lip liner. For the glitter I used Stila’s new Magnificent Metals glitter in Smoky Storm.
