hello i finally got around to trying to play meow but alas i have a macbook and it Does Not run .exe files. i am typing this after having spent almost Three Hours Straight trying to find a way to get a mac to run a windows game. all the shit i found was either no longer being updated or i had to pay money to use. i learned a single ounce of coding. i got scammed out of four dollars. none of this is messafe is malintentioned. i just wanted to say meow looks rlly good and i am sad i cant (1/2)

you might need to use a windows emulator, like wine or easyrpg. i don't have a mac so i can't say for sure that either of those methods will work though

not really, but also yes? in a way?

the original plot of noir au was fun to play with but didn't make sense as a detective mystery (or even as a story really), so i had to make some drastic changes. shurik and kotya's original roles (coroner and detective respectively) also didn't make sense for them as characters, so i changed those too.

it's also not actually noir in a sense of being set in the american 1940s. it was always going to be set sometime during the 19th century in the imperial russia (which is precisely why the original mafia & detective plot didn't make any sense). i call it noir because it takes inspiration from that genre stylistically and thematically.

so unfortunately you won't be able to help shurik commit medical malpractice... but you may be able to kabedon him

thank youuuu very much... i'm currently still working on the plot & historical research for it but i'm unsure what engine to use for it still... i did plan to learn blender next year and maybe try out unity because i think making it a proper point & click would be awesome but i'm also familiar enough with rpg maker 2003 after making that robot au game that i think making it there would be easier... but we'll see. it's still very early in development lol

ermm is there like a genshin or star rail au for the gang or maybe just their visions and paths? likeeee what kind of elements they wield or which fractions they belong to

hi anon! sorry it took a while to answer this but we needed time to think our answer through. we dont have hsr or genshin aus "officially" but we did joke / mess around with the idea of making them before. i know very little about hsr because i've never played it so i made my wife decide on the paths and factions for the gang:

asya - erudition (intelligentsia guild) sasha - the hunt (galaxy rangers) shurik - trailblaze (the nameless) kotya - order (she's just sunday. like literally) zhenya - abundance (the unshackled)

as for genshin (which i have played before), the arrangement would be such:

asya - dendro, liyue scientist that went to sumeru for studies sasha - hydro, from mondstadt shurik - electro, from fontain zhenya - geo, also from fontain kotya - cryo, from snezhnaya

we also did actually draw genshin au kotya & shurik once:

hi! i have mentioned my telegram in the replies of that post, you can write me there. i have to clarify though that i specifically mention moscow in that tag because i give the physical copies out in person. porn is illegal to distribute over here so i'd rather not take my chances with postal services + shipping abroad is $30 at minimum. therefore i kind of just give them out to whoever wants and is able to take them lol
