Experience at Oyo Living
A lot of issues:
1.) Prepaid electricity meter : no records of usage of electricity, wastage of money, commercial electricity charges, only one per flat ( one bettween 6 people ) . Ideally it should be 1 for each room.
I struggled with meter company and oyo for installation of meters for two months, finally when everything was done, installation isn't happening because OYO supervisor or manager isn't concerned enough.
2.) Lack of basic amenities:
Room is so small, can support only 1 cupboard/table/chair.
A room can be shared, a cupboard can not, apparently OYO doesn't understand privacy of tenants.
I was pressured to share my cupboard with another tenant, upon resistance, was told to book full room or adjust.
Sharing of a cupboard is not something a person can adjust with.
3.) Wifi: wifi doesn't work 3 out of 7 days, and nobody cares to listen to complaints.
4.) Disturbances by supervisor and guard: supervisor and guard can come in any time with a customer to show flat or room, not considering whether tentants are sleeping/busy etc.
Continuous knocking is done until the tenant wakes up to show the room.
5.)Water: water can be unavailable any time, sometimes takes upto two days to come back.
6.) Drinking water: only 1 working RO (aquaguard between 50 tenants ) , sometimes a line to fill water.
Also, situated on terrace.
7.)Bad Ethicality:
Supervisor found drunk twice, during on duty.
