JYA STUDENTS BATCH 1-A

Eunjeong longs for...something more. Her mother runs a popular bakery and her father is a police man. She is often percieved as quiet and friendly. She carries her notebook and special pen with her everywhere she goes to jot down song lyrics and is often humming to herself as the inspiration for writing music constantly flows through her. Finally free from the shackles of student life, she yearns to develop her skills and truly find herself despite her mothers urgent pleas to find a good, respectable and stable job.

Jongdae has often been seen as rough and broody and was ostracized a lot in school. His birth mother passed away when he was twelve and after three years, his father got remarried. His step mother always tries her best to befriend him but he often pushes her away. His outlet for his negative emotions comes in the form of rapping and after getting involved in the underground scene while also befriending a group of break dancers, he finds himself torn between the two "factions" so to speak.

Jimin is a former SM trainee who was eventually dropped from the company because they felt he wasn't making enough progress. He was adopted by his Aunt and Uncle (who are rich) at the age of eight when his parents sadly passed away in a house fire. He's a very gifted singer who lacks in confidence but many look up to him due to his outgoing and friendly nature. A good student overall who recieved many praises from his teachers throughout the years. He is very focused on improving his dance skills which is why he chose to audition for JY Academy.

Junseo is the older brother to fellow student Binna. The two siblings are very close and both talented in the art of dance and performing. He is known as "Mr. Sunshine" because of his radiant personality. Due to his family being quite poor, he has taken to working multiple part time jobs to help support his them. His parents are very supportive of him and his sister, who he often busks with and posts various tiktok dances with which have made them quite popular on SNS. He along with Binna were originally discovered by Kay of ELEKTRA, who introduced them to Jaeyoung and were eventually chosen as backup dancers for Kay's solo debut after some short time training at the academy.

Binna is the younger sister of Junseo. She is seen as quite tough but loveable and is talented in both dance and rapping. Her favorite styles of dance are hip hop and popping. Despite her more serious image, she is also very good at cute concepts and is secretly a fan of aegyo. She's quite popular in school and is a leader of her schools dance team. She focuses a lot on making her parents proud of her so she works extra hard on school work, which often leaves her mentally and physically fatigued but she pushes through with the hope of becoming a well known name in the dance industry.

Alli-Mae (birthname: Hatsuda, Haruka) was born in Kochi, Japan but her family immigrated to the United States when she was ten years old. More specifically to New York City, where Alli-Mae attended the Joffrey Ballet School with hopes of becoming a world class ballet dancer. Though she loved it, her parents had forced it on her from a young age and as she grew older, she began to despise it and now was looking to expand her talents elsewhere. She is currently studying at Yonsei, University as an international student and her relationship with her parents has since diminished greatly due to her "rebelling". She dreams of becoming an idol and will do anything to achieve it.

ABOUT JY ACADEMY

Founded on Feburary 11th, 2022 by Jeong Jaeyoung, Kim Dami, & Song Jongho.

JY Academy - located in Seoul, South Korea - is a fictional studio dedicated to helping youth develop their skills in four major specialties: dancing, vocals, producing/songwriting, and acting. They also offer elective courses in various areas if clients are inclined to expand their horizons. They aim to help students become self-sufficient in their specialties to share with the world. They also offer various lessons to those who wish to pay specifically for them but are not fulltime students of the academy.

The academy also focuses heavily on social media and public appearances, with many of their top clients forming groups to participate in busking performances, which are often recorded and uploaded to the academy's official youtube channel. This is especially important for those who look to pursue career paths as an idol or back up dancer and is encouraged to help grow clients self-esteem and stage-presence, while familiarizing them with performing infront of others.

The process in which clients are chosen begins with a fairly in depth application where the clients are asked about their aspirations, experience, but also to describe themselves as a person, along with a video audition. If passed, an in person audition is conducted to which the admittance panel will make a final decision afterwards.

Although the academy does offer short-term placements for less experienced but eager young persons with a less extensive admittance process and is also the recommended choice for younger applicants.

[Jieun Interview] Blushing Bride To Be

Our favorite soloist turned CEO has taken the time out of her busy schedule to sit down and chat with us about her upcoming wedding and marriage to fellow idol and CEO, Choi Minho of @baddreams-ent.

“How does it feel knowing your special day is near?”

“Thrilling. Exhausting, too.” She laughs softly. “I never pictured myself getting married - it never felt like something I wanted or needed to do. Then I met the most perfect man who treated me right. Made me feel complete again, and who just…clicked with my personality and I realized then just how special it would be to have him as my husband. And just how crazy wedding planning can be.”

“Do you find your responsibilities as a CEO of an entertainment company will interfere with your marriage?”

“No. Part of being a responsible adult is balancing all aspects of your life: mental and physical health, family, work, relationships, recreational needs, etc. Is it hard? Certainly - but it can be done. I think the most important thing is communication and control: be open with your partner about things, and know when to step back and let others within the business do their thing. I don’t want to overburden myself and I trust my staff to handle what they can without needing someone breathing over their shoulder every five seconds.”

During the festival, you surprised fans with an announcement regarding new music. Can you tell us more?

“I bet you are all very excited, huh? I’ve been teasing it for a while. I feel very bad for how long my precious babies have been waiting, but they have always been so excited and patient. I have something for you to enjoy very soon. Oh - and it’s something fun and a little sassy. “

Any plans to start a family?

"Ah, I’m in no rush for that even if people want to pressure me because they think I’m ‘getting too old’. If it happens, it happens. I’d like to keep my focus on my career and relationship as of the current moment.”

LEV8 GROUP PROFILE

LEV8 (often stylized and pronounced as alleviate) is a fictional eight member girl group under Elevate Label. Their concept is mainly teen crush and their music is usually light and fun. The girls helped come up with the group name and said it is their mission to make their fans forget about their worries and make them smile and feel good.

JIEUN BECOMES CEO OF ELEVATE LABEL

Soloist Lee Jieun and former 2FOLD member Park Hyunwoo crown their new entertainment company with its official sign.

Just two months after the soloist announced she was not renewing her contract with her company, she again made a post on Twitter showing a picture of her signing a stack of papers and another of her standing in an office looking out a window. It was then revealed days later that she had founded her own - Elevate Label, a subsidiary company under Hysteria Entertainment - with labelmate and former 2FOLD leader, Park Hyunwoo, who revealed just days ago he has also not renewed his contract.

"It's a dream I've had for a long time. While I love making music and I love performing, I've found myself attracted to the idea of creating my own empire. I remember the feeling of being given the chance to achieve my dream of becoming a singer and I want to help give others that opportunity," the new-found CEO comments when asked, "why the big change?"

When Park Hyunwoo was asked a similar question, his response was, "I adore our fans and my members very much. I've come to realize that I am more interested in the business side of things as opposed to the idol side."

Fans of the coed group were devasted, asking Mr. Park on social media what was to happen with the other members to which he responded, "their contracts with Starpunch are still valid as of right now. Although the group is on hiatus, so they are currently working on solo activities for fans. We'll remain close friends and I am always available if they need me."

Lee Jieun posted after, thanking Starpunch CEO Kang Yuri, saying, "thank you for all you've done. Thank you for sticking up for the powerless. Without you, I would never have accomplished my dreams."

CEO Ho has remained silent throughout the whole debacle, and CEO Kang Yuri has politely declined any interviews from the press as of this time.

Cough this is just the beginning. Also, think of this as a scattered timeline aka most of the drama is "in the past" while this and divin3s collab project is a present-day thing. pardon my cruddy writing skills tbh I was too tired to make this appear like a propper article
