a sleepy small pacific northwest town, Lake Nomad is known for its scenic views and vibrant local color. what looks like it wouldn't have much to it's name has been a thriving community for the last 200 years. it is a proud town, one that appears to be everything you could ever need it to be; a perfect place to raise a family while also offering a niche local nightlife for the young people to clamor to. and at the farthest edge of the town that stretches out into the sea is one of the town's most prized draws: Camp Nomad. a summer camp founded in 1958, boasting stunning wooded areas, a beautiful beach, and a well maintained corral of cabins for youths from near and far to engage in the outdoors and learn life lessons. on the surface it seems to be too good to be true. well, they say if its too good to be true, it probably is. beneath the sales pitch that would read well on a brochure, there's a darkness that Mayor Julian Killgrave would rather you not bat an eye at. have there been a rash of disappearances so few and far between that its not easy to glimpse a pattern? or perhaps the accidents at Camp Nomad that seem to never quite make it into the local gazette. it's nothing out of the ordinary to worry yourself with. just sip a cold lemonade and try not to get sand in your eyes from burying your head in it.
