Guilty or Innocent?
Hello!
To start, I deeply apologize for not uploading for a very long while now. School has been though and I myself wasn’t doing quite well so I took some time off, but now I have time again to post.
For today, I made this drawing. The reason behind this drawing is that recently I started reading omniscient reader’s viewpoint and I became addicted to it! I really recommend it to people who like the idea of apocalypse, games, action, etc. Another reason is the song “All for us” by Labrinth and Zendaya that is popular on tiktok at the moment.
So yeah, that is why I made this. I used the app clip paint studio and worked on it around 3 hours. I hope you like it!

Where and how did you meet// part 2
Summary: Where and how did you meet
Word count: 1k
A/N: So...I decided to make a part two about the headcanons “Where and how did you meet” with other characters this time. If there is a character that you want to show than you can always request ^^
masterlist: here
Kageyama + Oikawa + Kenma
part 1 / part 2
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kageyama
So, the first time you two met each other was at the vending machine in school.
It was lunch break, and Kageyama was thirsty, so he wanted to buy some good milk from the vending machine.
Unknown to him, you had the same idea.
One of your friends made you eat something spicy even though you can’t handle that so good, so you went to buy some milk to lessen the burn of your tongue.
You were the first to arrive at the vending machine and noticed that there was only one package of milk left.
“Lucky,” you thought as you pushed the button for the milk after putting the coins in the machine. You picked it up and turned around.
Your eyes met Kageyama his eyes.
You’ve seen him around before at school but never really talked to him. He somehow gave off an imitating aura, so you kept your distance. You saw the sweat running down his face, so you realized that he ran all the way here.
His eyes moved from you to the vending machine and then back at you before looking at the carton box of milk.
He sulked as he realized that he was too late and that the milk was gone and turned around, slumping away from you.
You had to stifle a laugh and look at the box before turning your head to him. You had a battle in your head whether you should keep the box or give it to him.
The angel in you won and, you ran after him, patting his back and placing the box in his hand once he turned around.
“You can have it, I think you need it more,’ you smiled while saying then and then walked away.
Kageyama never felt so happy in his life.
Let’s just say that you guys saw each other after that a lot.
Oikawa
It was a very peaceful Saturday autumn dag.
For you at least
You decided to go get some boba tea in the afternoon as a break from your homework. On your way back home, you took a stroll in the park, enjoying the autumn colors.
Oikawa on the other hand. Well, he had been running away from a group of fangirls for a while now.
They spotted him after practice, and even though Oikawa doesn’t always mind that, he was exhausted after practice, so he didn’t want to deal with them at that moment.
So his first thought was: running away.
He regretted that choice. He was exhausted and just wanted to drop to the ground.
He bumped into you in the park, and before you could complain, he grabbed your shoulders and asked you to help him hide from his fangirls.
Stunned by the sudden request, you repeated the question in your head and pulled him in for a hug, hiding his face and placing one of your hands on the back of his head.
Quickly understanding the situation, he wrapped his arms around you and waited for the group of girls to run past the both of you.
When the coast was clear, you let go of him and smiled at him apologetically.
“Sorry for hugging you. That was the only thing I could think of,” you apologized.
He shook his head. “I should be the one apologizing. I suddenly asked you that, and it seems that I made you drop your boba.”
You didn’t realize until now that you dropped your boba until you saw it lying on the floor.
“I’ll buy you a new one,” he offered, feeling slightly guilty.
Not wanting to turn down such an opportunity, you agreed. So you both walked back to the shop. On your way back, you both introduced yourself and found out that you both went to the same school but that you were often in the library so, you didn’t know a lot about him aside from what his fangirls said.
Oikawa didn’t realize that he was smiling at that. He felt as if he could relax around you and didn’t need to put up a front.
Needless to say that you guys met up a lot at the boba cafe.
Kenma
You never expected to meet each other in the local library, but that is where you did.
It was a Saturday afternoon, and it was raining a lot.
So, you went to the library to study.
Or that was the original plan. You ended up playing games on your phone instead of studying. But nobody said anything if you stayed silent. It isn't their business, after all.
Kenma was pulled to the library by Kuroo to study together against his will. He planned to stay home and play games on his console until an energetic hyena came by and pulled him there.
He huffed and just looked around, nodding his head to whatever Kuroo was saying until he heard a soft curse. He looked at the way the curse came from and saw you, busy on your phone.
You were cursing at one of the levels that you cannot get past. You threw your phone on the table and turned to your notebooks, 'quietly' slamming your head on the table. Startled by a hand on your shoulder, you raised your hand and whipped it around, noticing Kenma.
“Um, sorry to bother, but I heard you cursing and wanted to know if something is wrong,” he asked quietly.
You shook your head and pointed at your phone. “I cannot get past this damn level in my game. It is getting me frustrated,” you huffed, and he looked at it.
“Can I try?” he asked as he sat down next to you. Usually, he wouldn't talk to someone randomly, but you seem to pull him in for some reason.
You nodded. "Sure, go ahead."
You watched him play the game and noticed how concentrated he was. You smiled once he beat the level. “Thank you so much!”
He smiled. “You’re welcome. I also had difficulties with this level when I played the game.”
You smiled and then sparked a conversation with him about different games you both play and ended up exchanging numbers to play games together sometimes.

Overthinker// Akaashi x Bokuto
Paring: Akaashi Keji x Bokuto Koutaro
Summary: Bokuto had been declining dates so he could study for his test and get a good report card to surprise Akaashi with good points, but all of it caused Akaashi to overthink. What if he didn’t want to be with him anymore?
Word count: 1.2k
Warning: angst, hurt comfort
masterlist: here
a/n: I am so sorry that I haven’t posted anything for a long time! School was stressful and i got back from vacation around yesterday. I’m going to try to post something every two weeks from now on. So for now i give you this fanfic. It isn’t the best I’ve written, but I’ll try to do better in the future. Not proofread!!
___________________________________________________________________
It was Friday evening. Practice has just ended, and everyone talked about the weekend excitingly. Some of them had planned outings or were going on a trip with their family. Others are staying home to prepare for their test of the upcoming week.
Akaashi was happy too, though it didn’t show that much on his face. He and Bokuto were going on a date this Saturday. He didn’t know what they were going to do but, that didn’t matter to him if he had the chance to be with him.
That was until…
“I’m sorry Akaashi, but I can’t go out this weekend. I am busy! We’ll go on a date next weekend,” Bokuto said when he left the changing room, looking as if he was in a rush.
Again…
How many dates has he canceled now?
It was the same as last week. Back then, they were planning on going together to the city, but he canceled last minute, saying that he had to do some other important stuff. Akaashi understood that there could be more important matters in this world, but now too?
Why he did that was a mystery to Akaashi. Earlier in their relationship, he couldn’t get him away from him, Bokuto always clinging to him and calling him, but now it seemed as if he was leaving him behind. Was Bokuto hiding something from him? No, that couldn’t be it. He knew when Bokuto lied. He always looks away when he lies. However, that didn’t stop dark thoughts from intruding his mind.
Why did he cancel their dates? Why did it seem as if he was someone he couldn’t reach anymore? Was he tired of him? Did he not want him anymore? Was he…finding his love somewhere else?
Akaashi knew that he shouldn’t let those thoughts hunt him. He shouldn’t think like that. He would never cheat on him. Right?
He shook his head. Thinking about it will only hold him back. Now he has time this weekend to prepare better for his upcoming tests. Maybe it was for the better that they didn’t meet up. Otherwise, he will be swamped with work next week, and that will take a toll on volleyball. Maybe they can go on a small date in the week then.
So that’s what he did. He spent his weekend studying for his tests with the idea of going out with Bokuto in the week. He thought that maybe Wednesday was a good idea since they won’t have practice then. He already looked forward to it without even knowing if they were going to.
It never happened. On the contrary, it seemed as if it was only getting worse. They never talked during the break anymore. Not because he doesn’t want to, but Bokuto always seemed to immediately leave his classroom and go away before he could start a conversation.
That didn’t stop Akaashi from trying though. Every day he tried to spark a conversation with him. During break, before and after practice, he even texted him first which was a rare thing. Nothing happened. Always the same excuse that he was busy. Akaashi tried so hard to trust him, but the more he was declined, the more those dark thoughts came to the surface in his mind. Was he busy? Or was it just an excuse so he didn’t have to see him? Yes, it must be that. He must be bored with him. Who wouldn’t? Compared to others, he was nothing. He wasn’t expressive or overly excited by things.
Should he just end it all? Maybe that was better. Then he won’t hold him back anymore or annoy him. Maybe they can just stay friends, then he can keep seeing him. It would be painful, but it’s for the better, he said to himself.
Time passed and the test week of Fukorodani was finally over. Students were makings plan to hang out during their free days and what about Akaashi?
Well, he had been preparing himself to confront Bokuto and break up with him. He had stocked up the necessary items to comfort him after he did it. He went over his text multiple times in his head, slowly getting ready. He had asked Bokuto to come to his house after school, this time he did answer, saying that he will come.
It was all useless.
The moment he saw Bokuto in front of his door, engulfing him in a hug and littering kisses all over his face, his resolve weakened. When he leaned into the hug, it felt as if a missing piece of him was found again. The warmth he felt in the hug was one that he missed a lot these past weeks. He almost didn’t want to continue with his plan, but he didn’t have any other choice.
“Bok-,” he started but was cut off by Bokuto, who placed a piece of paper right in front of his face.
“Look Akaashi! Look at this!” Bokuto said, excitement showing on his face as he looked at him. It was as if he was on point to explode.
Akaashi frowned softly and took the paper in his hands, looking down at it. Surprise was visible on his face. It was a report card, to be more precise, it was Bokuto’s report card.
This was the first time that he showed his report card to Akaashi, but this was the first time that he was so excited to show him. He saw why. On his card, there weren’t any bad scores. Some were barely passed, but it was better than his last cards.
Akaashi looked up at Bokuto and gave him a gentle smile. “Good job Bokuto-san, this is one of your best report cards,” he said while handing back his report card. “How come that you have such good scores this time?”
“Well, I wanted to surprise you and make you proud, so I decided to study very hard! I hated that I had to cancel dates, but it was all for a good goal!” Bokuto smiled while saying that, and Akaashi, he felt stupid.
“So, if I get this clear, you canceled our dates to study for school? To surprise me with good scores?” Akaashi asked him, needing the clarification for himself.
Bo nodded excitedly. “Yes!” he paused and looked at him, “why?”
Akaashi looked down, silent. He covered his face with his hand. He tried to suppress his tears of relief, but it didn’t work. His tears came and he couldn’t stop them, not anymore.
“Akaashi? What is wrong? Did I do something wrong?! Did you not like it?” he placed his hands on his cheeks and made him look up at him. “Akaashi, please tell me what is wrong…”
Akaashi wiped his tears and leaned his head against Bo’s chest. “You big…idiot. I was so scared when you stopped being next to me…I thought that you got bored of me..” he said while trying to keep his tears under control.
Bokuto just stood there, listening to him. When he finished, he kissed his lips gently before hugging him the same way. “I’m sorry, I didn’t want to make you feel like that. I’ll be sure to never do it again.”
The two of them stayed silent, just enjoying the warmth of each other. It had been a long time for them since they could freely hug h-each other, and they will be sure to keep hugging until they get bored of it, which won’t happen.
Akaashi smiled softly and closed his eyes as he relaxed. Bokuto may be an impulsive idiot sometimes, but he was his idiot.

Where and how did you meet // Headcanons
Summary: where and how did they meet you
Word count: 903
a/n: Again some headcanons. I hope you like them! This is not proofread so there can be mistakes, I apologize for that. If there is anything specific that you want then you can always request! Have a nice day/night.

Kiyoko + Tsukishima + Suna
part 1 / part 2
 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kiyoko
´     The first time you guys met was after training, in Ukai his store
´     You worked there part-time after school to get some extra money for when you graduate from high school.
´     Volleyball practice had ended, and the team decided to go buy some meat buns like usual.
´     Kiyoko was the one who went inside to buy the buns, but then found out that the store was out of meat buns. She didn’t want to hear the boys whining that they were hungry, so she looked around to see if she could find someone that worked there.
´     She spotted you, since you were the only one still there, and approached you.
´     “I’m sorry, but can I ask something?”
´     You looked up to see her, an absolute goddess and nodded.
´     “Yes of course! Is there anything I can help you with?” you asked her politely
´     She nodded, “I saw that the meat buns were all gone, and my friends really wanted that. Is there a chance that there are some in the back?”
´     You thought about that and then nodded, “yes there are still some in the back, if you want, I can go get them and warm them up for you and your friends.”
´     She nodded, a small smile grazing her lips, “that would be nice.”
´     After you went to get the meat buns from the back you warmed them up.
´     While waiting you talked to each, getting to know each other’s names and which schools you attended.
´      You guys got along rather well and were almost sad when the meat buns were done. So, to cheer up, you decided to hang out one time in the weekend to get to know each other better.
Tsukishima
´     You met at an exhibition of prehistory, in the section of the dinosaurs.
´     He was there on his own, looking at the information of a Triceratops. It was a Saturday and since this exhibition was new, he didn’t want to miss it.
´     You decided to go take a look since you heard that it was good, so you were curious. You were also somewhat interested in dinosaurs so maybe you could find out more this way.
´     He didn’t notice you standing next to him until you turned to him
´     “Um, excuse me for bothering, but if it’s possible, can I read that too?” You asked him, pointing at the information board
´     “Oh yes, sure,” he stepped aside, giving you room to read the board. He studied the skeleton of the dinosaur
´     When he was sure that you were focused on the board, he decided to study you for a little.
´     You leaned close to the little board and groaned a little, since you couldn’t read the information.
´     “Why are these words so tiny, not everyone is specialized in reading small things,’ you mumbled, irritation showing on your face.
´     He saw your irritation and spoke
´     “If you want, I can give you some information about the Triceratops”
´     Since he knew a lot about dinosaurs this will be easy, though he won’t admit it that easily.
´     You happily agreed to that.
´     When he started explaining he sometimes looked at you, to make sure you didn’t find it boring
´     That wasn’t the case at all. Instead of finding it boring, he could only see interest in your eyes.
´     You asked him questions when you didn’t understand something or to get some extra information.
´     After that, the two of you walked around the exhibition together and had a lot of fun together. You also got to know each other’s name.
´     You had so much fun that you asked him to maybe go out one time, which he agreed to almost immediately.
´      It was the best decision he ever made.
Suna
´      The two of you met in an electronic store, at the phone section.
´      Suna was just looking around at the new tech, just to spend his time.
´      And you
´      Well, you were searching for a new phone. You dropped your previous one in the toilet. It was a very traumatic experience, luckily nothing was in it. But your phone was beyond repair.
´      So here you were, looking at the phones in the shop. You didn’t really know that much about the new phones, your old one being 5 years old.
´      So, you were a little lost in the shop.
´      Suna, like the observant guy he is, spotted your lost expression.
´      Normally he wouldn’t help people, but you seemed to really need a phone, so he was like one time won’t hurt.
´      So, he walked up to you, hands in the pockets of his jacket.
´      “Hello, I’m Suna Rintarou, need some help with choosing a phone?” he asked you
´      You looked up from a phone that you were holding and looked at the person who spoke to you.
´      You said your name and then sighed, “Does it seem that bad?” you referred to your lack of knowledge
´      He chuckled at that and nodded. “Yes, it does, so tell me what you are searching for.’’
´      You, happy with the offer, explained what kind of phone you were searching for, and soon the two of you found the prefect phone.
´      You thanked him and said that you wanted to repay him with a drink.
´      He accepted that offer gladly
´      And that’s how you ended up grabbing drinks together sometimes

Headcanons // Failed test
Word count: 1k
Summary: They react to a Y/N showing them a math test that you failed.
Tsukishima + Akaashi + Bokuto
a/n: Just some headcanons that I came up with in class. I already have so many tests planned and I’m sure I’ll fail a few T^T. Enjoy these hcs!
masterlist: here
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tsukisima
´      We all know that he is a bitch. A salty one at that.
´      However, beneath all those layers is a kind and gentle boy.
´      Not now though
´      I feel like he will snicker first when he sees the test
´      After that he will look at you and just say some stuff like
´      “How did you fail that easy test?” or “Didn’t know you were that stupid.”
´      But when he sees your defeated look, he will offer you to come to his house to study together
´      He won’t teach you, but he will give tips with exercises that you don’t understand
´      It’s not for free though. He will ask for something in return.
´      Just give him some strawberry shortcake, and he’ll be happy <3
“How many times do I need to tell you, that you should use this formula?” Tsukishima pointed at your textbook with an irritated expression. The both of you have been working on math for a while now. No, you’ve been working on math for a while now.
You’ve already finished every exercise except for one. You didn’t understand what you must do, so he had been trying to explain it to you. Without much effect. It isn’t your fault that he looks so attractive while focusing on work. “I just don’t understand why we have to use this formula. Why can’t we just use the other one? Why is math so complicated!” You whined, slamming your head on the table, and wincing afterwards.
He sighed, pinching his nose bridge. “I will explain it one more time, so pay attention to me,” he took the notebook and gave the explanation again from the start.
You paid attention this time, keeping your eyes on your notes. After it, you finally understood what you had to do and finished the exercise. You thanked him a thousand times. After that the two of you want to a café and bought him his shortcake.
Akaashi
´      He is a pure and gentle boy
´      It’s also no secret that he is smart
´      I think that he would feel bad for you
´      He knows that you really try your best to get good points on yours subjects
´      He also knows that you find math difficult
´      At first, he would try to cheer you up, saying that you have other chances to get good points
´      If he still sees the disappointment in your eyes after that then he will offer help.
´      Like tutoring
´      I feel like he would be amazing at that, I just get that vibe from him
´      He also thinks that study dates are nice, so he’ll say that this is like a date
“The only thing that you have to do is add this number to that, and then it’ll be easier to finish the exercise,” he said, pointing with his pen to the difficult exercise in the math book. You guys were at your home, sitting at the small table in your bedroom to study the math. He watched your expression to see if you understood.
That was a lie. He just wanted to see your focused face. Normally you were more expressive than him, but when you focus, there is this certain vibe around you that he seemed to like.
You did what he said and smiled brightly. You finally understood the question. It was an easy one, but you just used the wrong formula, so of course it wouldn’t be correct. Pumping yours fists in the air, you cheered for yourself.
He chuckled softly at your reaction. He loved to see that smile and would do anything just to see it. “Good job, darling. I am proud of you,” he said with a proud smile.
You smiled and then got on your knees, hugging him tightly. “Thank you so much, Keiji! I really wouldn’t know what to do without you. You were an amazing tutor!” you said with a bright smile.
He chuckled and hugged you back, “anything for you, darling.”
 Bokuto
´      He is a precious baby, but he isn’t the smartest out there
´      He will do anything for you
´      You ask, he will do it, no questions asked
´      But if there is one thing where he can’t help you
´      Then that is studying for things that he is bad at
´      So, when you show him the math test that you failed, he will show you the same one
´      Also failed
´      This causes the two of you to burst out in laughter
´      Though after that you both sulked
´      What will you guys do now?
´      Ask Akaashi to teach you both!
“You do know that I am a year younger than you guys, right?” Akaashi said as he looked at you and Bokuto.
You huffed and crossed your arms, “of course we know that! However, you are smarter than us despite the age difference.” You looked at him and looked down. “It’s just, if we fail our next test, then we can’t attend our club activities anymore…the teacher told us that.”
Bokuto his hair drooped, and he nodded, “Y/N is right! If I fail, then I can’t play volleyball anymore! My life will be miserable then!” he got on his knees, as if he was defeated on the battle food and made a huge loss in his army.
Akaashi sighed at that and nodded. “Fine, I will help you, only because the volleyball team can’t lose their captain. We’ll study after practice.” He then walked away, back to his class.
You and Bokuto cheered loudly. Was lying to your kouhai bad? Yes. But did you guys regret it? No. This way, you both still had a chance to get your points up.
“This plan was a good idea, Y/N! Now Akaashi will help us with our math!” Bokuto cheered, laughing loudly. “I really don’t know where I deserved someone as smart as you.” He smiled at you and held your hand.
You chuckled, “don’t start being so sentimental, or I’m going to cry.” You punched his shoulder. “Let’s just go now you big goofball, or the teacher will scold us for being late. Again.”
Unexpected// Kenma x reader
Pairing: Kozume Kenma x reader
Word count: 3014
Warning: fluff and angst
Summary: Kenma knew that life could be unexpected, he only wished that he was prepared for the ending...
a/n: It’s been a while since I wrote something, but this has been in my head for a while so here it is!
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧
Unexpected.
That's the explanation Kenma had for everything that happened last year.
It was unexpected that he met you that one day.
**
It was a Monday morning; spring was coming to an end and summer was approaching. The temperatures started getting warmer and the sky clearer. School had started around two months ago, and students were already wishing for the end of the year to approach.
"Good morning class," Kenma's homeschool teacher said as she walked in, everyone went to their seats and settled down. Kenma was already seated, just as usual playing on his game console before the teacher had entered. He was tired since he decided to stay up late, as usual, a choice that he regrets every morning yet can't help making it every time. "Today," his teacher started, "we will have a new student joining us. Please treat them well." As if on cue, the door opened, showing the new student, you.
Kenma looked up and watched as you went to the front, standing in front of the class and bowing your head, speaking: "Hello, my name is Y/N L/N, nice to meet you. Please treat me well," you ended with a smile on your face. The face that Kenma had been observing since the moment you walked in, concluded you weren't nervous, but excited. "Thank you, Y/N, you can sit down next to Kenma. Kenma, please put your hand in the air, so they know who you are," the teacher said with a smile, yet a tone that wouldn't appreciate disapproval.
He sighed, raising his hand slowly in the air while he looked down at his desk. He hated being in the center of attention, so doing this was out of his comfort zone. Furthermore, he kept looking down, hearing those footsteps nearing his desk. Kenma lowered his hands, praying to God that you won't start talking to him. Glancing towards the side, he watched as you pulled your chair back and sat down, placing your bag next to your desk before taking your supplies out, staying silent the whole time. He let out a sigh of relief, realizing that he doesn't have to talk to you, at least not yet.
This will be a promising year...
**
It was unexpected how easily he became intrigued by you.
**
One month has passed since you arrived at Nekoma, and Kenma watched as you slowly made a small group of friends over the month. Not just a normal group of friends, no. Your friends consisted of those who were considered "weird" or "not worth their time" by other students of their year. What they didn't know was that -during lunch- you would fall on your side from laughing as you talked with your friends, discussing everything and anything with great excitement. He couldn't hear what you were talking about from the gym doors every time he took a break from practice, but he loved to hear you laugh.
He also noticed your subtle ways of trying to become friends. By slipping notes towards him during classes. The notes weren't the like the notes someone would usually slip through. Normally, notes like that start with a "hi" on them or some other greeting, but these notes didn't. The first note you slipped through was with the question: "is it okay with you if I write you notes?". Not what you would expect, but he did appreciate it since you gave him the chance to decline if he felt uncomfortable. He answered: "yes" to the note, and from then onwards the two of you have been slipping notes to one another. The majority of the time, your notes were related to the classes that you had together. Whether he understood it or not, or if he knew the answer to a question.
Days passed, and passing notes became a routine in his life. In the morning, he already looked forward to seeing those notes with your identical handwriting. From time to time, he would be the one starting a conversation (not that it happens a lot). Though, he always found it worth doing, since those times are the times that he got that one smile from you. That smile that set off a weird feeling in his stomach. What that feeling was, was still a question to him, but he didn't hate it one bit. On the contrary, he wished to experience more and find out what it exactly was.
Through those notes he got to know you better. He found out that you moved from a little town in Japan to Tokyo because of a private matter. He also found out that you loved watching anime and playing games. That piece of information made him happy, knowing that he could talk with someone about his favorite games and maybe play together.
**
It was unexpected that you came to him for help.
**
"Kenma!" Kuroo yelled as Kenma was hiding once again from the volleyball practice during lunch. He just wanted to play one game, just one. Kenma let out a long sigh as he got up from his hiding spot. "I'm coming," he said, making his way over to the court, sloughing over the gym floor. He really loved his best friend, he really did, but sometimes he wished for him to just disappear, so he can play his games. "You really need to stop hiding, Kenma," Kuroo looked at him, "or at least find better hiding spots." Kenma rolled his eyes and just ignored him, and looked at the other side of the net, wanting this to be over already.
Just like he wished, practice went by smoothly. The team was cleaning the gym when the doors suddenly opened, startling a few of them. Kenma looked up towards the door and was surprised to see you there, panting as if you just ran all the way here. He flinched when your eyes fell on him, and there was that smile again. His stomach did a flip at that, flipping more when you made your way towards him. "Kenma," you started, "sorry for bothering practice, but um I had a question." He nodded, waiting for your question. "Well, I had some difficulties with the subject we learned in class today, and since you seemed to understand it, I hoped that you could explain it to me. If you don't mind, of course," you asked him while gently fidgeting with your fingers.
He just stood there, looking at you. He knew you had difficulties with that subject, but he was surprised that you asked him for help. He soon realized that he had been staring at you and nodded softly. "Yeah, I can help you with that. We can go to my house after school," he said softly with his small smile. Your eyes lit up at that and you smile happily: "Thank you Kenma, you are my savior! I'll come here after your practice then!" You waved at him and then walked away, leaving him to suffer under the stares of his teammates. Cleaning will take a while longer now.
The day passed by slowly, until finally the whistle, signaling the end of practice, was heard. He helped his team with cleaning the gym, excitement running through his body at the thought of spending time with you. Walking to the changing room, he avoided Kuroo's pained gaze. "Why are you letting me walk alone Kenma!" Kuroo whined while changing his clothes. Kenma groaned softly as he changed out of his shirt. "Because I don't want you to annoy Y/N with your chemistry jokes," he said with a glare at Kuroo. Kuroo made a hurt sound at that, huffing and crossing his arm, acting hurt by his comment. The team changed quickly, exhausted from practice, and wishing to go home. They exited the room and Kenma immediately spotted you, as if you were metal and he was the magnet searching for you.
After bidding his team goodbye, he made his way over to you, who had just spotted him. "Hey, Kenma! Are you still up for helping me or not?" You asked, slightly worried that maybe he was too tired from practice and was forcing himself to do this.
He nodded. "Yes of course," he placed his hand on his neck, "You came to me for help, it'd be rude if I back down now." You nodded, a smile grazing your lips as you looked at him. He was silent for a moment, just looking at your smile before realizing that had been staring. He coughed, "let's go now, otherwise it'll be late." He started making his way to his house, you are walking next to him. There was a comfortable silence present in the walk. One that he enjoyed. If being with you also means having comfortable silences, then he wouldn't mind being with you more.
The evening went by quickly. Kenma helped you with your difficulties. You found that he was rather patient, even if you messed up many times. The evening ended with playing games together until you had to leave. He found it to be a succeeded evening.
That was the start of a new routine. Whenever one of you didn't understand a subject, you would ask the other to explain it.
**
It was unexpected how easy he loved you...
**
Months passed, and he found himself falling in love with you, though he didn't notice it immediately. He realized it one day when he was feeling rather down, but as soon as he got a message from you, he felt better. It was then he knew that he liked you. And not a little. He didn't deny it, though he was afraid. Did you feel the same, or was it one-sided interest? He decided not to dwell on it too much, telling himself to keep it a secret from you, for now at least.
It didn't stay a secret for too long. He should've known that you were as observant as him. On a Wednesday after school, when you were together at his house, studying, you decided to break the ice with an unexpected question. "Kenma, do you like me?" you asked with a serious face. He froze in his place, keeping his eyes on his notebook. He sighed and nodded, moving his eyes towards you, "yes, I like you. Love you even." He did it, he said what he felt, and he didn't know how to feel about it. Will you laugh at him, saying that he shouldn't feel that? He waited anxiously. However, it never came. You just smiled at him, beaming even. "I love you too Kenma, I have loved you for a while now. I just was a little scared to say it, I didn't want to mess up our friendship," you rubbed your neck, your smile still on your face.
He couldn't believe what you just said. You loved him too? After all this time he had been stressed, you loved him too. "You really do?" he asked, just to be sure. You nodded, "yes, I really do. So, would you be my boyfriend?" He nodded, the biggest smile he ever had on his face as you shared a hug. Nothing could make him happier.
Nothing much changed after that, except for the loving gazes you both would send each other during class. The fact that you held hands when you walked home together, or the dates you had at an arcade or your favorite café. Though it didn't matter to him what you did on a date, if he could spend his time together with you, he was happy. The silence when you worked or the excitement when you played a game, were moments he held close to his heart.
You also met the volleyball team. You got along with them very well from the start. He also loved that about you. One moment you could be quiet and just do your own thing, but you could also be very extrovert and easily have a conversation with people that you liked. He knew that he would become old with you and marry each other in the future. It may be early to think that, but he is sure that he doesn't want it any other way.
He felt invincible next to you.
**
And how easy he lost you...
**
"What..." Kenma froze in his place. The teacher looked down, "yesterday...," a deep breath," yesterday, Y/N passed away in the hospital. Apparently, she had a life-threatening illness. Her funeral is this Friday." His world stopped. He raised his hand, asking if he could be excused. The teacher nodded. It was no secret how much Kenma loved you, everyone knew that. The way his stoic expression went away when you were near him. Everyone saw that. The moment he got permission, he left the room, running to the bathroom. Locking himself in a stall, he fell on the ground, looking at his hands, tears flowing down his cheeks.
Did you know that you were going to die? If so, why didn't you tell him? You probably didn't know it, right? Yes, that must've been it. He kept repeating those words, trying to believe them. However, it didn't work. Even when he tried so hard, he couldn't believe his own words. He had seen you getting worse with each passing day. The dark circles under your eyes, how thin you were. He thought that it was because of the stress from school...he was wrong. You were slowly dying in front of his eyes, and he hadn't even known.
Still, why didn't you tell him? Then he would've spent more time with you. Maybe you didn't know how to tell him? No, that wasn't true. He knew that you had a reason. You didn't want everyone to look at you with pity in their eyes, you didn't want them to treat you differently from others. You wanted to forget that haunting truth. That thought caused him to cry even more. He hunched over and covered his mouth, sobs escaping his mouth. He stayed like that for who knows how long. There wasn't a single tear left to spill. His voice was hoarse and his eyes red.
Days, which felt like years, passed and it was your funeral. The whole school was present, together with your family members. Some were crying, others' tears had already been spilled earlier. Kenma was one of them. He promised himself not to cry. Not because he didn't want others to see him like that, but because he knew that you wouldn't want to see him crying.
He stood in front of your casket, looking at your smiling picture on top of it. He kissed the top of the casket gently, closing his eyes. How he wished to see you, not dead, but alive and well. Standing in front of him with that gentle smile and those loving eyes. He wondered...did it hurt? Dying? Were you wishing for it to be over quickly because you were in so much pain? Or was it painless? Did you accept death with open arms? Was there a smile on your face when you said your last goodbyes? He will never know, and maybe that is for the better. He knows he wouldn't be able to handle the truth.
When the funeral ended and the casket was under the ground, your parents approached him. He had met them the first time he came to your house to study. They were two kind and gentle people, who loved their child with their whole hearts. "Hello, Kenma," your mother said with a sad smile. He bowed his head as a way of greeting them, afraid that if he were to talk that he would start crying again. "Thank you for coming to their funeral, I'm sure they would've been happy," she said, and your father nodded, looking down. "Before Y/N passed away, they asked us to hand you this," he gave him a note, "we don't know what it says, but it seemed important to her." Kenma looked at the note and then back at him. "We will leave you alone now, please come by again to pay her respects sometimes," the mother smiled, and then they both left, leaving him alone in the graveyard. He opened the note, immediately recognizing your handwriting, and started reading.
"Hey, Kenma! If you are reading this, then that means my funeral has passed. It must've been shocking to receive the news about my passing. I'm sorry that I never told you about my illness. I'm sure you already know why I never told anyone. It's exactly as you think, I wanted to feel normal and healthy. My apologies again. Are you alright? Probably not, that was a stupid question, wasn't it?
"The reason I'd moved schools so late in the year, was because it was one of my last wishes. I've always wanted to attend Nekoma. Do you know what my other wish was? Finding love. And you granted that wish. I've never been happier with you. The moments we spent together have always been secured in my heart. I had high expectations for love, but you surpassed them. It was amazing. Though, I have one more wish, one that only you can grant. Are you willing to do it? I hope so. I want you to live free, don't let me hold you back. Continue living, don't forget me, but also don't stay in the past. Find love again, pass your goals, be happy. That is my very last wish, I hope you can grant it. That was everything I wanted to say. I will watch you from above. I love you so, so much. Sayonara, Kenma."
He fell to the ground, crying once again, holding the notes close to his heart. "I will try..." he cried, "I will try to grant your wish. Please keep watching over me, watch me grow. I love you! I miss you!" he closed his eyes and kept crying.
It'll be hard, but he will try to move on. If that means granting you your last wish, if that means that you can rest in peace, then he will do it.
Weekend.
One of the few things high schoolers look forward to in a school year. Those two days are spent by teenagers hanging out with each other or as the time for others to recharge their batteries before another week starts. Today it was Saturday, the first day of the weekend. If it was a normal Saturday, you would spend your time hanging out with your best friend or recharging your social battery, but not today. Today was the long-awaited day. Your date with your boyfriend Bokuto Koutarou. The whole week you were excited for Saturday, with the consequences that you barely paid attention to class, not as if you did that much anyway.
You've been together with Bokuto for about 1 year and 3 months now, having confessed feelings to each other after Fukorodani won one of their practice games against Nekoma. The confession consisted of two people, each nervous to be turned down by their crush to end up holding a celebration party in their head. Bokuto cheered loudly, saying his signature "HEY HEY HEY" as he held his arms in the air, beaming. You were a little calmer on the outside and just enjoyed his reaction, cheering inside your own head.
Dating someone like Bokuto was an overwhelming experience. Even before you two started dating you knew what Bokuto was like, since you were friends before you both confessed to each other. You knew that he had an emo mode and huge mood swings, but that didn't mean that you loved him less. Just like he loved every part of you, you loved every part of him. Both his personality and body of course, which was sculpted by the Gods in your opinion. At school he would come up to you during breaks, hugging you until he has to leave. One time you asked him why he always hugged you: "Because I need to recharge before I have class again" was his simple explanation. After school you watched him practice unless you had other stuff to do. If that was the case, he just found another way to spend time with you after practice. Study dates happened a lot during the weekend too. Those dates are spent with the both of you working on your homework, you help him out when he doesn't understand something, and he helps you out or at least tries to help you out. Those dates end with a cuddle session on your bed while watching a movie, most likely a comedy movie or one from your childhood, since they never get old.
A little further in your relationship you also found out several ways to help Bokuto out with his emo mode. Either way, you cheered him on and praised him if he was in a game, or just you gave him forehead kisses and hugs, that method really paid off several times.
Anyway, today you finally had a date again with him since he has been busy preparing for the nationals. At the start of your relationship, you both decided that one-time Bokuto chooses what you do on a date, and the other time you choose. Today it was your turn, and you knew exactly what you wanted to do.
"So~ what have you planned to do today?" Bokuto asked you with curious eyes as you both were walking down the street, holding hands, and drinking the coffee that you bought on the way.
"That's a surprise Bo" you chuckled watching his curious expression turn into a pouting one as if he was a child that didn't get his ice cream. You heard him huff and shook your head, rolling your eyes even though there was a smile on your face. "Don't worry, we are almost at our destination, so you don't have to wait too long," you said with a smile on your face as you threw your empty cup away.
Bokuto looked at you and pouted a little more before sighing and nodding, smiling again: "Alright! Then I'll just have to trust my lover then! I'm sure that you planned something fun," he said proudly following you and throwing his cup away. Only if he knew...
A few minutes later the both of you arrived at the destination and his expression turned blank. You started laughing at that, clutching your stomach. How you wish to just take a picture of his expression. After a few minutes, you calmed down and wiped your tears away from the laughing, and looked at the large building in front of you. For this date, you decided to go to a new library in the city. You heard from one of your friends that it really was worth visiting. They told you that it looked like those libraries that are described in fantasy books. You already love reading so you are sure that you would've visited it nonetheless, but that fact just made you even more curious.
"So...the date you organized is going to the library?" Bokuto asked you calmly as he kept looking at the building, the defeat clear on his face.
You nodded: "yes that is true" you looked at him and grabbed his hand. "c'mon don't be like that Bo, I promise you that it's going to be fun!" you said with a smile, pulling him with you to the entrance, even though that was easier said than done. Bokuto gave a long-defeated sigh before following you, mumbling stuff like "books are boring" or "we could've easily just cuddled all day". You knew that he wasn't a fan of reading books for a long time, but you really wanted to come here and share this experience with him. You made a mental note to tell him that later.
From the moment you entered the building stars lit up in your eyes. It really was like a library straight from your fantasy books. Huge shelves full of books organized in their own different categories, with tables standing at the end of the hallways. Ladders for if you wanted to reach a book that was a little higher. Huge windows for natural sunlight, chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. You swore that you could stay here for days, if not for months.
You glanced towards your boyfriend who was just like you mesmerized by the scenery in front of him. Once he caught sight of you glancing at him, he went back to your sulking boyfriend, not wanting to give you the victory that you longed for yet. You chuckled and then walked further into the library, looking up at the signs of each hallway, searching for the fantasy book. You spotted horror, comedy, romance, fiction, and then finally fantasy. You hummed happily and entered the hallway, looking with amazed eyes at all the books stored there. while searching for a book to read your eyes fell on one with a golden title. "The Cruel Prince", you've heard from that book but never really got the chance to read it since your bookshelves at home were currently full.
While you read the description, you failed to notice the way Bokuto looked at you. Even if the both of you have been dating for more than a year now, you were still hesitant when it came to talking about all your passions. He knew that you might be afraid of how he would react so he understood that it may take time for you to express his passions the way he did, and he will wait until you are ready. But now he saw the way you looked at those books and a warm feeling filled him. He may have been repulsive about the idea of this date, but now he may get why you brought him here and he doesn't regret coming here. He didn't pay attention to the books and only watched your gleeful expression while you held that book.
He walked to you and wrapped his arms around your waist, hugging you from behind while looking over your shoulder at the book that is taken all your attention. You glanced at him and smiled, pecking his cheek: "Did you already find a book Bo?" you asked him curiously and he huffed, shaking his head: "no, books are boring" he whined softly, knowing that he needs to be quiet in the library and honestly not wanting to feel the wrath of the others in here for disturbing their peace.
You rolled your eyes and then looked at the books before taking a book with the name "A thousand pieces of you" and handed it to him. "I know you don't like books, but you should at least try, maybe you'll find it fun even if it's only a little bit. If you still don't like it after 30 minutes then we will leave" you said with a smile, giving him that promise before making your way to one of the tables and sitting down in the surprisingly comfortable chairs with the book in your hand.
Bokuto looked at you and nodded, taking the book. "Only because you asked me to" he mumbled and followed you like a puppy. He sat down and inspected the cover of the book cautiously before turning it and reading the description. Bo opened the book and started reading, grumbling softly, you chuckling when you hear him.
You were a few chapters in your book when you realized that he wasn't making any noises anymore. You turned your head, half expecting him to be asleep, and were surprised when you saw him, focused in his book, or more like mesmerized by the storyline of the book. You wanted to say something but decided not to, opting to enjoy the silence and comfort that came from this.
Maybe coming to this library is not as boring as he thought that it would be. He was kind of excited and curious about the other passions that you didn't tell him yet. He was also excited to love you more in the years that will come.
"Dear diary” // Sugawara x read
Pairing: Sugawara Koushi x reader
Word count: 2,4k
Warnings: some angst <3, I don't think there is anything else but let me know if I missed anything!
Summary: you get a diary from one of your relatives to write about your experiences in your last year of high school, until one day everything changed.
masterlist: here
"1 April 20XX
Dear diary,
I'm Y/n L/n, and from now on I'll be writing in you. Yesterday my grandmother gave you to me. When my grandmother handed it over, she said: "This is your last year at Karasuno, it may be difficult this year, but even then, unexpected things will happen. Whether they are good or not is for you to decide. So, every time something good or bad happens, write it down in this book so you can look back at these memories when you are older." She is so sweet, and her chocolate cookies are the best in this world! Every time I go to my grandparents' house, she always makes sure to make a few for me and my family. I hope she can become old together with my grandfather, like those old happy couples in movies. They deserve that. Anyways, back to the topic, I promised her that I would try to write as much as possible, not only because she asked me to, but also because I want to be able to look back at my own memories. This is all that I will be writing for now, since I have to go eat dinner now. My mother prepared Yakitori.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6 April 20XX
Dear diary,
School started again today, I'm a third-year at Karasuno now. To be honest, it feels weird to be called senpai by the first and second years, like, I can't grasp the fact that I really am a third and not a second-year anymore and that maybe next year I am attending college or university around this time of the year. Luckily, I have my small friend group that I've built over those two years at Karasuno. Of course, I also have some friends in my class, it'd be weird if I couldn't get along with the people that I have been classmates with ever since I was a first-year. School wasn't that bad today since it's the first day. We mostly got to know our new teachers for the subjects that we had today. We also got our books for this year. It's less in comparison with last year but now we have to take our own notes. I can already imagine the horror that went through some of my classmates since I felt it myself.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
17 May 20XX
Dear diary,
I finally did it! I asked my crush, Sugawara Koushi, out. I've harbored a crush for him since last year after he helped me out of the slumps when I failed an important test. I was friends with him before that, but that one even was the trigger for my feelings to become something else. I never told him how felt. Why? Simple, I was afraid that I would get rejected and end up losing our friendship. But then again, isn't everyone afraid when it comes to being honest about their own feelings? Anyways, when I asked Sugawara out, I acted like I had everything together but, once I stood there in front of him, it felt as if my heart was going to jump out of my chest and just run away. I was nervous and scared that he'd reject me. However, after the painful silence that seemed to last forever, he said that he liked me too and asked me to go out with him, to which I said yes of course. I was on cloud nine for the rest of the day and even now I still can't believe it.
Aside from that, school has been okay. There are some teachers that I don't really like, but it's not as if I can change anything. I also have the feeling that my math teacher doesn't really like me, which he has every right to. I don't like his subject, nor do I like him, so I guess it's like mutual hate? He always gives us so much homework. He probably thinks that we dedicate our lives to mathematics. In conclusion, he really sucks. Luckily there are also some nice teachers, my chemistry teacher for example! She always helps us and goes over the lesson if we don't understand anything. Such a sweetheart!
18 May 20XX
Dear diary,
Today after class, Suga brought me to his volleyball club to introduce me to his teammates.  When he told me that this morning, I was a little nervous about how they will react and what they will think about me, but the moment he softly held my hand all those thoughts went away, cliche right? Suga did warn me that his team is a little chaotic, but there is a difference between hearing it and seeing it with your own eyes. The moment I entered the gym I was greeted with a dark blue-haired guy, whose name is Kageyama, screaming at an orange-haired guy, Hinata, about a toss that he apparently missed. On the side of the gym, I saw two tall boys who were snickering at the scene and then Daichi looking as if he could snap at them any second now. But that was just the beginning of it all. As I was talking with Suga, I saw Kiyoko entering and at that same moment, two guys ran to her, screaming weird things to end up being ignored by her. Not that that let them down, I guess that they are simps over her. Who isn't is the question? Even I have those moments where I find her an absolute goddess. That seemed to be the straw for Daichi, snapping at them to be silent so they could start practice. It was a loud bunch, but it made me feel happy and even relaxed. Later, Sugawara introduced me as his lover to everyone. Being called lover made me blush a little, but I smiled nonetheless. The look of surprise on everyone's face was absolutely priceless. Meeting the volleyball club was a fun experience.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
22 May 20XX
Dear diary,
Today I had my first date Suga. It was a simple date, but we had so much fun together! So, we met up around lunch and went to a little cozy cafe where we ate our lunch. During it, we started with talking about our childhood and told each other funny stories that happened to us when we were younger. After lunch, we went to the movies. Apparently, there was a movie playing that he really wanted to see with me so I agreed to go with him there. I like watching movies myself, so I didn't really mind spending our time like that. The movie was very good, he really has a good taste in movies. Maybe I should ask him for some recommendations. He took me to a Starbucks cafe to get a refreshing drink when the movie ended since it was rather hot today. I took my favorite drink from there and he took a refreshing lemon iced tea. Once we got our drinks, we made our way to a local park and sat down on the grass at the lake, looking at a family of ducks walking by. It was cute seeing the little ducklings following their mother. I think we spend about two hours there, drinking our Starbucks and talking about our future jobs. He told me that he wanted to do something in the teaching sector. I really see him doing something like that. I don't know what I want to do once I graduate from high school, but I still got some time to think about that don't I? After our date he brought me home and left after kissing me on my cheek. I think I never blushed so hard once I was in my room. It was a wonderful experience.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
14 June 20XX
Dear diary,
Today Karasuno lost against Aoba Johsai with 33-31 in the third set, making Karasuno lose the Interhigh Preliminaries. It was heartbreaking to see those defeated looks on their faces, especially Sugawara. Nevertheless, I know that they tried their best, and I hope that they know that too. When I met up with Suga later I comforted him. He may look like he has everything together, but he is still a teenage boy, one who just lost an important game. We were sitting on my bed, my arms wrapped around him while he cried his heart out on my shoulder. It pained me to see him like that, but there wasn't anything I could do except just being there for him. He ended up falling asleep, tired from the game and the loss. I hope that his next game will be better, that is if he continues playing. Important tests are approaching for us third-year, so some of us stop going to their club to focus on school. I hope he doesn't stop, but then again, I don't want him to fail his tests. Whatever he decides to do, I will always support him! No matter what!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
16 June 20XX
Dear diary,
It took a little while, but everyone on our volleyball team is getting better at handling their loss. The third-year continued going to their club, so I'm glad that Suga didn't give up, not like he is someone who could easily give up of course. They still have their dream to go to nationals before they graduate high school. Everything is going well between me and Suga, today we studied together at my house. I also introduced him to my parents. I swear, he is like a two-faced man or something. Just before he arrived, he was teasing me through messages, and the moment he met my parents he was like an angel. That was what my parents told me afterward. No wonder he gets along with almost everyone. He can have this sweet smile on his face while also burying you in the ground with his words. Anyhow, we studied together for some tests, and let me tell you, he is really smart. He helped me with my difficult subjects, and I helped him with things he didn't quite get. Later he stayed over for dinner before going home since we don't live that far from each other. I really enjoyed spending time with him this way.
27 June 20XX
Dear diary,
Finally, the test week is over! I am totally exhausted from the studying that I had to do the last few weeks. It was hard and tiresome, but Suga pulled me through it with studying together and spending our free time together by going to small cafes or just staying home and watching our favorite movies. I got my results back yesterday and I passed all of them! Some were almost failed tests, but that's not what is important here, I passed, and I should think that way. I really should give Suga something for helping me, even if he won't accept it, saying things like "I just did what a boyfriend should do" or something. Seriously, he can't accept a simple compliment or praise. I am meeting up with him the day after tomorrow so maybe I can go buy him some chocolates since I have to be in the city anyway for some stuff for my hobby. Yeah! Seems like an amazing idea! I really hope that I can show him how much I love him that way. We haven't been together for so long, but he really changed me a lot and my love for him only grew through those small acts of affection and those little dates we had together! Sugawara really is the love of my life!"
...
Sugawara looked at the last paragraph, a deep ache in his heart. Tears were prickling the corners of his eyes, threatening to roll down his cheeks each second. Right now, he was in Y/N, his lover, their house, sitting on the same chair that they sit on during every meal...or rather...used to sit on. Something like that wasn't possible anymore, Suga remembered, they can't sit on that chair anymore. Not after he saw that newsflash that one evening.
"That was the last thing they wrote down," Y/N's mother said while looking at him with sad and worried eyes. Y/N's mother and father were both sitting in front of the grey-haired boy, dark circles under their eyes from the sleepless nights. The father sighed as he looked down at his hands, clasped together on the table: "We know how much Y/N loved you, so, my wife and I decided that maybe we should give this diary to you" he stayed silent after that.
Sugawara his hands began to shake, those tears now rolling down his cheek as he bit his lip, gripping the little diary tighter. The tears spilled on the papers with their handwriting, that handwriting that he always loved to see whenever they showed him a specific test that they passed or failed, cheering, or almost crying next to him. He laid the book down carefully, treating it as if it were glass and not just paper. The deep aching feeling in his heart became suffocating, making it difficult for him to breathe as he broke down on that chair, face in his hand, the sound of a crying, suffering boy resonating through the room.
Y/n their mother looked at the suffering boy, her own tears spilling on the black skirt that she was currently wearing. She covered her mouth and hunched over: "I'm so sorry...we are so sorry..." she said through her tears, the father wrapping his arms around her to comfort his wife, while his own tears appeared.
Sugawara shook his head softly, tears continuing to flow. He couldn't believe it...he didn't want to believe it. Who was going to give him those smiles that he always looked forward to in the morning? Who was going to tease him on a daily basis as a form of showing their love? Who was going to comfort him after his volleyball team loses a game or cheer with him after they won? Who was he going to spend his weekends with just casually hanging out together when they had nothing to do? Who was going to study together with him to prepare for those difficult tests? Who was going to go on those comforting dates with him?
It was not Y/n...
No not them, not after that one newsflash the evening before he would see them the next day. Not after that one newsflash that caused the world for him to crumble. Not after that one newsflash where he saw their name, the name of his lover...declared dead after a tragic car accident had happened an hour before.
He didn't want to believe that the love of his life was dead before they could start their life together. And yet he also knew that, even if he prayed every night, he can't turn back time to save them...
