Typhoon Paeng left many of us with traumatic experiences. According to the news, at least 4 people million people were affected, and many have lost their lives as well. "Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep going. Tough situations often build strong people in the end." is such an inspiring quote that made me feel motivated at the time. It made me feel like Typhoon Paeng is just one of those hardships that challenges us to be better and stronger in life. Seeing my family suffer is my Achilles' heel. It made me weak to see them having a hard time cleaning our house because of the typhoon. The movies "The Johnstown Flood" and "Flood!" are somehow similar to what happened to us. The characters have suffered because of an inevitable disaster that has caused death and suffering to many people. I salute the characters because, despite what happened, they're still strong; they kept fighting and tried to move forward.
