Since we're so close to the reveal, I won't share any snippets from my surprise second 10 Years Later Affair fic. But I WILL share my "The Coldplay Kiss Cam Incident Was A Leverage Job" fic I started!!

“Not staying for the rest of the show?” she croons, placing a brief but gentle hand on Nate's arm. “Huh? Oh, uh, no, it's not really my style,” he dismisses, taking his drink from the kid behind the stand and walking with Sophie towards the picnic tables, “Did'ja know they only make stunt drinks? This thing's just called ‘All Yellow’, it- it's ridiculous. Unappetizing. Can't even get a goddamn Budweiser around here.” “Mmm,” Sophie hums with a roll of her eyes. She's reasonably sure Nate's vacating from the arena has more to do with Chris's brilliant lyrics than any musical inclination. It's something she'd been worried about since they took this job; the toll the actual concert would take on him. The fact that he left within the first chorus of “Fix You” just proves it to her. She could never hold that against him. “What about you? You didn't wanna catch up with Chris?” the name hissed around the rim of the martini glass. It truly is an unappetizing color. And it smells of far too much banana liqueur. They arrive at the umbrella-covered metal tables and take their seats. Sophie pivots to watch the lurid spotlights sweeping from the stage inside. “Jealous, are we?” she teases. “Of him?” Nate scoffs, “Nah, he's not your type.”

i hate driving. here are the laws! if you break them there will be consequences! except youre also expected to break the law just a little bit. people will get mad at you if you dont. you dont have right of way but the person who does is waving you forward for some reason. here's the speed limit! it's not the speed limit, the actual speed limit is that plus ~5-10. the light is green but you're in the turning lane. can you go? should you have gone just then? the person behind you is honking at you. there's a weird noise coming from your engine; if you try to do the right thing and get it checked out, will you get scammed? you are driving a 1-2 ton metal machine rocketing at speeds unknown to humankind for most of history. around a million people die in car accidents every year; that's about one person every thirty seconds. if you take that seriously and try to drive safely then people get mad at you.
