media ii | preview - code (raw), alternate
tabbed version | preview - code (raw), alternate
a minimalistic media page that features
a header with a circle icon, title, four+ custom links, description and an optional request status box
unlimited media boxes
each box contains a linkable image, optional text that shows on hover and optional text below - all templates are in the code
changeable number of columns - instructions are in the code
custom colours for text, links, background, borders and more
normal version: filters, carousel for multiple images
tabbed version: changeable number of tabs. filters and carousel cannot be added at this time.
I made this page as a headers page last year for my personal blog and there’s been many requests to release it so here it is! this is page can be used for headers, photography and art portfolios and more.
credits: headers by @graecian, photography from unsplash, combination filters by @magnusthemes and slick carousel.
everything needs to be edited in the code, therefore basic coding knowledge is required. if there are any issues or glitches, don’t be afraid to send me an ask here.
reblog/like if using and please do not repost or steal!

base code — one column, sidebar base code. originally posted in November 2020.
preview / code: pastebin, github.
features:
dashboard-style captions following the blocks in undocumented documentation by @bychloethemes
responsive for smaller screens; sidebar will convert to a header for mobile devices
some CSS styling to stop npf posts from overflowing
like and reblog buttons
post sizes: 400px, 500px, 540px.
notes:
Tumblr’s customization page is buggy as hell and it disappears/screws up the captions. don’t panic, just open your blog in a new tab and remember to check the tab rather than the customization page so you can see your edits properly.
since this has all the basic Tumblr blocks, you can use it as a simple theme if you want, but use at your own risk. I won’t provide support for this like I do my other themes, since this is a base code, not a fully customizable theme.
terms:
feel free to replace my credit in the bottom right corner with your own if you make your own significant edits to it. if you use this as a standalone theme without significant edits, leave my credit in place.
if you use this to make your own theme and release it, I would appreciate a credit somewhere (in the code, on a page on your blog, an @ in the post; the medium doesn’t matter). also, please don’t claim this as your own base.
if you make and release something with my base code, feel free to tag me in the post; I’d love to see what you make!

The last sketch for the last jacket. 👻 Many of you have asked me to make a jacket from my other piece inspired by Nessian, so I decided to create something a bit similar, but at the same time new. I know you’re tired of waiting, so some info: All the jackets are finished by now, the release will be in early March.

Books Similar To The Mummy
In my quest to research The Mummy started by this Anon’s question. I have a thirst for similar stories. So I compile a list of books that I wanted to check out that are similar to the film.
Most of the books listed are recommendations and others I’m not quite sure, but they sound like they’ll be just as good. If you know some books that are similar or have a similar theme/vibe to The Mummy, please feel free to suggest them.
Most of these books take place in Egypt with a discovery of an Ancient Egyptian artifact, curse, mummy, or temple. However, there are some that don’t and focus on another ancient civilization. They mostly have a female lead in them and she’s an archaeologist/egyptologist or is related to someone that is. The setting varies for each book, some of them take place in the 1900s or earlier, others are in the present day. They all have mystery, romance, action and adventure. Be aware that some of the books listed here are not suitable for all readers.
