Black women are the most woke than men and black mothers. We once told to “be careful with overdressing” or “you’re too pretty to be outside” has brought downfalls to young black women. We are feared in the world to protect our fragility and its fucking shame that we have to composed ourselves or gently let down the men’s egos without being killed or raped.

a body exists, therefore it is good.
folded, stretched, relaxed. a body is just lines and light and shadow. there’s no such thing as bad angles. i don’t look at a circle and wish it were a square. a shape is a neutral and natural occurring thing. any reason to see the body as ugly is directly rooted in colonialism, racism, colorism, fatphobia, misogyny, ableism, ageism, etc. — that is not a violence i want to perpetuate, internally or externally. when i contextualize my insecurities and see them for the historical violence they are, i get closer to humanizing myself and others. addressing the trauma of being called ugly is hard work but it’s valuable work. i don’t outsource dignity or desirability or beauty. those belong to me.
you only owe your body and others two things: liberation and kindness.

Kardashian is not wrong about staying healthy. You can the most healthy version of yourself. We have seen Khloe, Ashley Graham, Demi Lovato, Lizzo, and few celebrities promote staying fit. What Kardashian is trying to elaborate that it's doesn't matter what kind of standards you're seeking because as long as a person is honest with themselves in a healthy way. Ex; mental health, lifestyle, world beauty, fashion, or curvy positivity. It's not their job to tell people to get a botox, but they are responsible for how they represent the world. Some people like them or some don't and it doesn't faze them. I just think people in the comments are not discerning the concept of what is the “beauty standards”, there are Pros/Cons and also there's diversify of beauty standards. For example, almost zero makeup to full glamour makeup. Diversity exists. Come on.
