Deliverable #2: Online Safety, Security, Ethics, and Etiquette
Share an experience that you have always tend to do but later did you discover that it is not a standard of ONLINE SAFETY, SECURITY, ETHICS, AND ETIQUETTE.
When I was still in junior high when we don’t have our own internet access already, it is really a need to have access to internet for some updates and it is needed to make assignments and projects. So we need to pay for Wi-Fi internet access to our neighbors monthly only for our laptop. When the internet access is already sign-in to our laptop, I did got an idea in my mind “what if I look and inspect for the password of it using our laptop” so after inspecting in the control panel I got in to the wireless sharing connection section I did see name of their Wi-Fi name and success fully its password. Because of that we use it to our devices and as the day goes by many of us are all connected to their internet without them knowing it that we are using it to our other devices for free. I know that it’s not right or ethical buy its free Wi-Fi you know. So in that experience in the present I learned that we must secure our internet access more before sharing it to others whenever they pay or not.
