i feel so sad whenever i remember mike in fact did try to call will and, as dustin puts it, he wouldn't stop whining about not being able to reach him and yet he doesn't even try to fight back at rink o'mania after will says "you called maybe a couple times" and i'm sure he didn't say anything because he knew exactly what it would look like

Not to be completely redundant, but it sucks how the problem with Mike being open is that he's split. All his adolescence, Eleven and Will are like two different sides of the same coin: Will goes missing, Eleven is found; El disappears, Mike doesn't let Will out of his sight; he makes out with El in a secluded cabin and stares at Will's lips half-an-hour later at a movie; El dumps his ass, now can play D&D with Will if he wanted; El can't be contacted on the phone if he wanted, Will can't be reached on the phone when he tries (and tries); El takes Mike on a date, Will fades into the background; then El is arrested and Mike opens up to Will; Mike feels like a nobody with El but feels lost and alone without Will.

El's his superhero and Will's his confidant.

He can't deal with them in the same room because it always seems to be one or the other and in equal measures, so he feels like he has to choose between his girlfriend and his best friend because when he doesn't, and some new evil is ruining his and his extended party's lives, that's when they all have to split up again. Keeping them separate like night and day is easy because not only is this completely normal and the only way he knows the party isn't splitting up *again*, but because it's only one at a time, unfortunately it feels like they're competing in shifts for his attention. He holds them both in such high regard and he can't be "normal" around them together because they know two very different Mikes.

I'm not phrasing this how I'd like to at all because it's well past midnight, but does that make sense?

So I noticed something (istg if this is just for someone else or from one of the directors imma jump)

This literally SCREAMS flirting and the only person to have a rubiks cube (so far as I have seen) IS MIKE WHEELER

I don’t know if anyone has pointed this out or has an answer to this but my head is steaming right now.

As im rewatching S1, im trying my best to comprehend why Will was attacked or targeted I should say. I’m am convinced the thing that attacked him was NOT a demogorgan, it was either Vecna or something else (that’s the thing im trying to figure out). Plus we already pointed out the door unlocked itself and demogorgans do not have telekinesis.

See demogorgans are drawn to blood, there was no blood when it first appeared on the road. My theory is it was waiting for Will, but WHY, what is the motive, why will? Was it at the wrong time, wrong place? No there has to be more to it, more depth.

Also the light at Mikes garage? It’s so suspicious how as soon as the kids left it flickered, I don’t know if it was a signal so the creature can attack will or it’s someone in the upside down messing with it and we’ll find out in S5 but again who will it be?

Hopper and Joyce found Will at the library, also where the center of the cracks are at the end of s4. Literally everything about season 1 is clues to s5. I know there’s so much going to be connected.
