Some cool NPCs from the recent arc of our DND game, adventures in film noir cowboy land. Jayne, changeling elder sibling to Venello Law, head of their clan, sharpshooter and general cool guy

Young Jim offers Venello some flowers that will help him commune with the ghosts in his head after he deduces that one of them is his father, Jin. Jim is unaware that in the length of time it took him to retrieve said flowers, Jin found a way to move on, reuniting with his husband's memory once returned to his home. Little Jim missed his chance to say his final goodbye to his dad by mere moments. It's been very weird playing the dead parent in an NPCs origin story, but it's been very happy/sad/emotional!

I've been struggling with art motivation recently, so every day, I set a stopwatch and do a photo study painting for an hour. No fancy brushes, no fancy adjustment layers, just getting stuck in. And it's been very fun.

A doodle I had to get out of my brain after our latest session. Ven learned more about who he had been, pre-amnesia. That before he was taken from his commune, he was happily married to a man who violently died trying to find him, orphaning their young son who ran away and hasn't been seen or heard from in years. The only memory he has left of them is their last moment together.

Life has gotten in the way of me keeping up with Critical Role, but I've been meaning to catch back up. I did want to ask anyone who knows better ... Did Imogen accept Predathos because above table one of her class features was tied to a massive narrative plot point and that's why it just kind of ... happened?

Christmas Eve, celebrating alone knowing there should be someone beside her, but not quite remembering who.

Venello is incapable of keeping a normal night's watch with whoever gets partnered with him. Perception checks aren't even being rolled, let alone passed.

Three magical girlies from our game. Thierza, an incredibly talented artificer, studies a wish stone with the help of Wizard Deyna and her cool porcelain automaton, Poppy. A stone she'd later incorporate into Ven's new prosthetics.

Some Venello doodles. Found an incredibly talented artificer to create a new set of prosthetics for Ven, and these bad boys are a combination of several scavenged legendary items. And no better diva to wear them.

Life and art block been kicking my ass, but i'm trying! Ven and Cass, moments after their escape from the facility where they'd been kept as lab rats for .. well .. years.

I'm so ill, so here's a comfort/indulgent doodle of Axl and Kiah and their little miracle moon baba, Luna; who arrived during their epilogue. This family has so much hair/feathers/flowers.

Our Dnd gang have been laying-low recently after the several Esu incidents. Although it means less adventuring at the moment, they've had significantly more time to party, and one thing Ven/Elliot/Eve is always going to do, is turn a lewk.
