I’m Julian and I post my interests and look at fandom stuff on here for fun. It’s my blog and I know I’m crazy and nobody will see this anyways. 🏳⚧He/they

Don't know how it could happen (and don't care) just a thought about that euclydians can see Ford's shadow and Bill can see Ford

I'm sure this has already been talked about a million times over but...
Bill broke his number one rule, and it ended exactly the way he might have expected it would.
"Trust no one" and yet he trusted Ford with everything. Everything. His past. His future. His knowledge. His heart. He trusted Ford without question. He trusted Ford without hesitation.
When "Ford" said he would allow Bill into his mind to get the equation, he trusted Ford so wholly and so completely that he didn't even stop to really think about the situation.
He hasn't been able to actually get inside of Ford's head for decades now because of that metal plate. How would he suddenly be able to get in so easily?
He shouldn't have to make a second deal to be allowed in - the original deal was "from now until the end of time," and time hadn't quite ended yet.
Ford could have just told him the equation. He wouldn't have needed to let Bill into his mind for that. If anything, it would've been safer for Bill to just get the equation
A single door in a blank white space would have been so unlike anything Bill would have ever seen from Ford's mindscape before. If nothing else raised the alarm, a being who harks so hard on the point of 'trust no one' should have known better than to open that door.
All of these are flaws in the plan that are so obvious - so blatant - and yet Bill just blows right past all of them just for the thought that his Fordsy has finally gotten over this tantrum and is letting him back into his life.
"Trust no one," and yet Bill trusts Ford so blindly that he doesn't even bother to notice the warts on "Ford's" nose that weren't there before, doesn't bother to notice the sudden slight gruffness in his voice that wasn't there before.
I know we all talk about how Bill's devotion to Ford was, in his own (twisted) way, just as strong as Ford's devotion to him - but he trusted Ford just as blindly as Ford trusted him too.
"Trust no one," and yet he still trusted Ford decades after Ford had lost all his trust in him.
Bill let himself trust someone for the first time in billions of years, and that's exactly what killed him.
Well. "Killed."
