I’m so incredibly proud of Taylor. This is a brave thing to put out into the world. She didn’t have to do that but she wanted to show what she’s been through these years and how it has affected her life. Rather how she learned and grew as an individual and became a better person. She finally found her happiness and Love and that is the greatest gift she could have asked for. I’m so so so proud of you Taylor. WE’RE POPPIN BOTTLES OVER HERE🍾

On November 1 I had an idea...what if we tried to raise money for a cause to honor @taylorswift this Swiftmas season!? She is known for her generosity and as a fandom we are so limited in how we can give back. I thought, why not do something positive? I consulted my friends @heyshannonmarie and @spainlovestay and after some really great input we decided on a cause we felt would touch a lot of people, that they would feel connected to and want to contribute toward. A way to give back but also to connect with Taylor and let her know we are here for her, many of us can relate to what her family is going through and we want to support her through it.

Day 1 I was nervous. Our goal obviously has to be a multiple of 13 but I knew we could do way better than $1300. $13,000 it was. We never looked back.

The response immediately was WILD. People CARED. The donations poured in. Up until about $9000 we thought wow we might need to increase our goal!! Then things slowed. We had to work for the last bit to get this completed but WE WERE DETERMINED. Tonight a VERY GENEROUS donor sent me a DM asking how much was needed to make the goal. $782. DONE. I mean, the kindness and generosity of the fandom has blown my mind this entire time but THIS, THIS was something else. What a testament to what the Christmas spirit is all about!!!

WE DID IT SWIFTIES!!!! We raised $13,000 for the American Cancer Society!!! HAPPY Birthday and Merry Christmas @taylorswift!!! I wish I were going to be in that audience with you on Friday to celebrate!!!

We are continuing to collect! We set our deadline as Christmas and we will keep it up until then. We are already over $13,100!!! I can’t wait to see where it ends up!
