why do people dedicate their lives just to hate on taylor swift?

since taylor swift is now performing in toronto for the eras tour, and since i live in canada and a bunch of girls in my school are going to see her this just randomly popped into my head. i truly don’t understand why people just decide to spend their precious time hating on a celebrity. sure, i don’t listen to taylor swift’s music, but it isn’t really fair to just hate on her because you think her music sucks. she has such a successful career and i can’t help but feel really happy for her. but i also can’t help but feel sorry for her because a lot of her fans are just… not it. someone in toronto scammed another woman and gave her fake eras tour tickets. i don’t know why people just decide to do that for their own personal enjoyment. i think that’s another reason why people hate on taylor swift: the types of fans that she has. some are really compassionate and some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, while others are people i just don’t wanna talk about. sure, a bunch of other fandoms have THOSE types of fans, but when the fandom is for a real person, it’s just hella creepy. but is it taylor swift’s fault? no, it isn’t, so just leave her alone please.
