"Well, seeing as you are my lover, I do not know how he did either, since you made it sound as though no man has ever managed to acquire your affections. As for a start time, it is up to you. It is not as though I cannot be in multiple places at once."
"You sound like the guard who trained me. I don't know how he put up with such a stubborn woman." She sat on the couch and titled her head back, sighing contentedly. "When do you wish to start?"

"I suppose so. Although it does mean you do not always take the time to admire what you have, and how fleeting it all truly is."
"That’s true, I guess anyway; I want to live my life as much as possible as if I will never die you know? That’s the best thing I feel I can do"

"Well, I would not say I am the greatest magic user in existence." Although he certainly thought he was to some extent. It was a toss up between him and Thoth. Or perhaps Isis. "i certainly hope you will learn patience; for magic and war are similar in that the best practitioners of them know the value of patience."
"I will follow your lead. Whatever you think is best. After all, you know magic better than anyone I've ever met. I am honored that you agreed to teach me." She rubbed her neck. "And I apologize ahead of time if I grow impatient," she said softly, smiling with him.

"Of course not. It is easier to live as though you will live forever, although you know that you will not. It often causes more than a few problems between people."
"What a depressing analogy to live by I mean it’s incredibly true in many different ways but I would much rather not think about that right now"

"Of course it was. Generally speaking, the idea that what you have would be lost is always terrifying. Then again, here you are. Perhaps you merely need to learn to accept death as a consequence of life, and to understand that while you are living, you are also dying."
"I guess you’re right about that, death is a weird thing and I’ve nearly faced it once before, probably one of the most terrifying experiences of my life"

"Complicated and elaborate is what magic is, but so is swordplay. After all, a sword in the hands of a child is an unwieldy thing, heavy and not useful at all. You cannot teach someone the advanced techniques before they learn the basics, and the basics are rarely useful to the impatient. Personally, I adore the small magics, if only because it teaches you how much one can truly do without relying on flashy and less than subtle techniques. Thinking like that drives people to find greater power, at the cost of them understanding how to be powerful."
"Still, it is not me trying, but you."
"You are more than welcome l to try if you want. But nothing to complicated or elaborate. I wish to learn something j can use in battle," she said with a nod

The temptation to make a Bacchus muse is strong.
The only problem is that his facecanon would be Jason Derulo or Flo Rida, because what says Bacchus more than drunkenly singing terrible R&B songs while yelling about the club all the time?
Note, this is an awful idea.

"One never faces death the same way twice. It exists in uncountable forms; and one is never truly ready when it comes. Still, being accepting of death makes it easier to face."
"I know that full well—actually I know that more than anyone as I’ve pretty much faced it"

"It is easy to excuse your actions when you justify them by saying that they are pushing you. You are the one in control of your actions. If you feel guilt in doing what you are, then cease doing it and do what you think right."
”It’s hard not to feel guilt when everyone is pushing it one you.”

"I believe at one point, I said I was going to teach you. Perhaps I should resume attempting to instruct you at least in the basics of magic. It would be good knowledge to have, in any case."
"I have attempted to but I have no talent for magic. I have tried to learn but I have not been able to cast even the simplest of spells," she sighed, resting her head on his shoulder

"The world is based on duality; there is truth to seeing things in black and white. The mistake is to believe that mortals have any ability to create a world that is only black and while, when they already live in a world that is inherently white already."
"Law and chaos. Good and evil. Wrath and wisdom. All things exist in duality. Mortals exist within the realm of existence, as opposed to the chaos from which the universe was created. Some people fear the end of things, but looking at anything that is not innately dual in nature is bound to make less sense than if you accept the flaws of such logic."
"I don't steal, and I don't lie."
Song Lyrics III [Starter Sentences]
“Everyone lies sometimes.”

"Don't deserve help? Well, clearly you do not know me, or how I deal with those such as yourself. Do you think all divinities require mortals that are somehow 'pure' in any definition of the word? Humanity, all mortals for that matter, are flawed on purpose. You are meant to have trials and tribulations, and be tested by the world that you inhabit. My father, for example, prefers mortals who are far more... shall we say evil, than your average mortal. Then again, he is a god of war, a god who every night faces the limitless hoards of chaos. His champions reflect that, and his self-serving nature."
"But I am no such god. I am a god of many things; death, magic, secrets, mummification, tombs, and foremost among them, judgement. Do your abilities not deal with understanding those you touch? And yet throughout all of this, you are still capable of good judgement, and even of kindness and pity upon occasion, without losing your will."
"They ain’t gifts. Ah’ve yet t’meet someone that likes bein’ this way that ain’t sick in the head. Benefactor, huh. Don’t deserve no help. Obvioulsy Ah did somethin’ t’deserve this."

Have you ever mourned the loss of a child?
"In what respect? I have mourned the fact that they died foolishly, and that they acted in haste, but when you consider that when they die they end up back with you, its sort of odd to feel sadness towards them."

Would you rather walk only the earth for eternity or never walk it again for all eternity?
"Never walk on it again. There are near infinite planets on near infinite realities. It's a simple matter for the gods to remove one and replace it with a different planet."

Have you ever considered ending the world/triggering an armageddon?
"Well that would be sort of stupid on my part, considering that if that were to occur I would cease to exist, along with all of creation, so no."

Have you ever sired offspring?
"Divine offspring? Only two. Mortal offspring? Well I am a male god, and so they number in the thousands... although that was more than a few eons ago across multiple realties, some of which no longer exist."
