hello, thank you so much! and of course. currently bloom valley is mainly comprised of two hoods wearing a trench coat, plus some others. sorry that this got long!

BLOOM VALLEY

this is the main hood proper. this is where i started out. it was built on pippanstad, which is a lovely map. however, it quickly was outgrown by bloom valley's population, and the fact that i wanted to explore different styles of building. so currently only the eclairs and thornes live in bloom valley.

here you can see that i usually only do a rough blocking of areas for different vibes/types of lot. generally i go very much by vibes. also, lots are 90% downloaded with only very little being made by me, since i am terrible at building.

OAKBURG

currently the hood i spend the most time in. it is set as a shopping district, which is how uberhoods tend to go. it uses acorn bend as a base, because i love the verticality of it and the embankments. i have added my own decoration it to fit my needs, however. roughly, there's a more industrial area (as shown in the first picture), the canal district and the primarily apartment based residential area above it (second pic), and another more suburb-y area opposite the industrial one (third pic).

DOWNTOWN IN PROGRESS

i've been using kattaty's incredible downtown remake and magic town as downtowns. but recently felt the need to supplement with a third, which may replace the first down the line. as you can see, it is currently unnamed and only has a very small area done. the deco buildings are there for me to remember which ones i want to use. i cannot recall the map i am using for this one. it's quite large and i'm adding to it as i need/feel like it

LANDGRAAB UNIVERSITY

my tiny uni hood! this uses oakshore as a base for the map. i had a lot of fun decorating this one. it's mostly built around (deco) uni buildings with some dorms in the lower right area, some dorms and student rental houses in the left, and a community area on the other side of the river. there's some community lots throughout, though.

I was spending a relaxing morning watching TV after waking up around brunch time, and all of a sudden I smelled burning and the fire alarms went off.

According to the girl across the hall, an electrical fire started in her oven. I barely had time to put shoes on before we had to evacuate the building. It was warm outside, luckily.

And one of the firefighters that responded was pretty cute, so that was a plus.
