I haven't personally posted in ages but am still active in the fandom and have been for about a year and i have noticed a small but consistent theme of people complaining about art in this fandom. Whether its a fic, or drawing, or personal headcanons, or socmeds, being "too ooc"

Like "Character A would never say this, or fall in love with them, or do that..." etc "...so that means your art is bad, and I don't like you or anyone who agrees with you"

And I'm fucking tired of it. Fanfiction and fanart is just that. Fan made content. And people should be free to draw or write whatever the fuck they want forever. The end.

People can actually do what they want, and should.

If you dont like it fine, great, but you dont have to make "call out" posts about it, or have it be one of the three total comments that artist got on their post and ruin a happy thing for them
