GAME OF THRONES CHARACTER APPRECIATION POST

1. Jaime Lannister

My favorite character. Probably because he has had the best development in the series. I hated him at first but he’s then revealed to be so complex. Not a hero, not a villain. A man with many layers but only one hand.

2. Arya Stark

A character that followed her passion for greater things from the very first episode. Been through so much and survived it with her wit and will. Now she’s basically an assasin.

3. Cersei Lannister

I love how evil she is. A straight up ruthless and no hearted person. I would’ve used cold hearted but even that’s admitting she at least has one. Always planning the next step. Maybe becoming the Mad Queen?

4. Sandor Clegane

One of the saddest characters on the show. Loved his relationship with Arya. Always has that great one liner to offer. Not a perfect man but a damaged one worthy of redemption.

5. Tyrion Lannister

An obvious fan favorite. Quick witted and broken. Those traits make for a great character. Just a tragic character that had his whole life decided for him when he was born. He did not accept it though.

6. Davos Seaworth

The Onion Knight is awesome. His love for Stannis’s daughter is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. A down to earth guy who you can root for.

7. Tywin Lannister

One of the best antagonists ever. How could you not love all the monologues he gives. A cunning and ruthless man.

8. Jon Snow

A hero’s hero, that’s for sure. A man that probably deserves everything, but receives only misery, heartache, abandonment, and isolation. Just wish he could go back to that cave.

9. Brienne of Tarth

A true Knight with the highest honor. Her bringing out the good in Jaime was great. Her devoting her life to Catelyn then Sansa is also great. A true warrior and no one could strip her of that title.

10. Samwell Tarly

Just a kind soul in a show filled with death and hate. He deserves a happy life with Gilly. Probably one of the bravest men among the Nights Watch.
