Hello. Let me introduce myself. My name is William Muelle. I'm a big French fan of Uncharted. To the point where I made a fan film about it a decade ago. But one fan film is not enough for me. For several years now, I've been preparing a sequel to my first Uncharted short film. The shooting took place last year, and I am currently in the post-production phase of the film. I wanted to talk to you about it today. Since you are Uncharted fans like me, I think the project might interest you.
To elaborate a bit, it's the story of Nathan Drake who is on the trail of two identical porcelain eggs, made by Sir Francis Drake. The famous explorer is said to have hidden something inside the two objects. However, no one knows what it is. The two artifacts were lost for nearly 4 centuries. But Nate, of course, is determined to find them. The first egg is called "The Easter Egg" and the second "The Sand Egg." Each short film tells the story of how he finds them.
I have been making amateur short films for a little over fifteen years. And this second Uncharted fan film is by far my biggest project. I have devoted, and continue to devote, a lot of time to it. That's why I'm telling you about it today. I'm going to leave you several links. First, to the first short film I made over 10 years ago. I had very few resources at the time, but the result still holds up. Since I'm French, it was shot in French. But it is still subtitled. Here is the link: https://youtu.be/gndJalYzmHQ
The second link will take you to a pre-making-of video playlist that I made for this second fan film. In each episode, I explain how the production of the short film went. I also give updates on the progress of the project. Subtitles are available in the YouTube options. At least, I'm working on it. And finally, I'm leaving you a first poster of the short film and a production photo that I find really cool. I hope I've made you want to take an interest in my project. If so, don't hesitate to subscribe to my YouTube channel to keep up with the project's progress and be there when the film is released. Even though I will regularly come back here to keep you updated. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. I will be happy to answer them.
I think I'm done with this message. So I wish you a good end of the day, enjoy watching if you visit my YouTube channel, and I'll see you next time.
