Clean UI 1/3 Beta Release!

It’s finally HERE!

So what is this you wonder? It is a first third of clean UI release, currently in beta testing phase. What does it include? Well, here’s the list: - Completed Game Intro Loading Screen (separate download) - Complete Main Menu - Complete Save Loading Screen - Complete Buy mode (without blueprints) - Complete Build mode (without blueprints) - Most of live mode in progress (without most of EP content) That’s 30% of it complete already. Here’s some images of it:

Issues with this build: - going into CAST in build/buy gets rid of half camera control background graphic - career tab days off are colored light blue and are thus barely readable These are two issues that don’t seem to be easily fixable but for final release I’ll try my best.

Some final words.

Thank you everyone who follows this project. I hope this is enough for now, there’s more to come later, but I will be taking a break from this project for a bit. A Cup of Tea

This is a small mod I made for my tea drinking sims.

The mod can be found on my download page.

How the mod works

Buy a tea pot (Kitchen -> appliances small / cost 125§)

Click on the object and serve tea.

The tea pot can be carried in your sim’s inventory, but it must be in the world when using.

The drinks

The drinks available for your sim are the ones from the Barista Bar that came from uni.

Serving tea requires ingredients and you can only make tea that you have the ingredients for.

An example with Ginseng

The number of servings a sim makes depends on the number of ingredients in the sim’s inventory (4 being the max servings done at one time).

If your sim has 3 ginsengs in his inventory, he will make three cups of Ginseng tea. If he has 7 he will make 4.

The cups

You can add cups (Kitchen -> appliances small / cost 25§) into the teapot’s inventory and when making tea the sim will use these cups for serving.

If you have several different cups the sim will randomly choose the cups to use. So if you like a mismatch of cups you can have that.

If you have no cups in the pot’s inventory the sim will use the default white mugs.

Before we go any further, please give a huge thanks for @mspoodle1 who created both the pot and cup as well as all the add ones she will release in her own post (trust me they are pretty).

Compatibility

This mod is incompatible with my Have Coffee With Me -mod. If you have both, the Call for Tea – Option in the tray won’t work. But, making them compatible is easy!

Open the Have Coffee with Me -mod in S3PE.

Open the DrinkHotBeverage_CUP -ITUN file.

Change the first line from

<Interaction name="Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.Appliances.HotBeverageMachine+Cup+Drink" />

into

<Interaction name="HotBeverageMachine+Cup+Drink" />

So basically we remove this part “Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.Appliances.”

Now both should work.

“Features”

Regardless of how many drinks your sim makes, he will always do the animations of pouring 4 cups.

If the tray is on the ground when you ask your sim to drink tea, they will carry the cup a bit wonky. But they will drink it just fine. If the tray is on a table or counter the cup is fine.

Plans for version 2

The animation I use for serving tea is serving nectar. But I’m not 100% happy with it because the tea pot is a bit far when they pour it. For version 2 I want to try out the serving drinks animation from the bar, because the bottle they pour the drinks from is shorter than the nectar bottle so their hand is closer to the cup. But this animation wasn’t so straight forward as the nectar serving animation so I’m using that one for now.

We tried making individual trays for this mod that you could use just like the cups. That if the tray is in the pot’s inventory, the sim will use that. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get it to work, so no fancy trays for now.

But mspoodle will release default replacement tray with her add on pack.

The code for using custom trays is there. So, if somebody wants to take crack at it, then you are free to do so.

Just change the OBJK of your custom tray to

Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.Appliances.ani_ACupOfTea.TeaTray

Put the tray in the pot inventory and the sim will use that.

The sim will either reset (happened to me first) or the tray goes to his inventory and is unusable (is happening now for some reason).

I’m not sure if this is a code thing (same code works fine with normal EA tray and default replacement tray), or an object thing. But if somebody can fixt it, I’d be very happy 😊

Anyhow – just like with any mod, back up first and use at your own risk.

今年的春节也太惨淡了一点

我很讨厌吃药。

虽然说我的国家一直被人诋毁，但是我一直很爱她。

所以我很幸运，现在吃得起药，也能抬头挺胸的告诉自己“没关系”。

可是就算如此，lofter屏蔽抑郁tag的时候我还是很难过。

那一瞬间，好像是被人狠狠地打了一巴掌。

那一刻，好像所有人都在告诉我，“你应该去死”“你不应该活着”。

我哭啊哭啊，结果还是马上就要二十一岁了。

我都不知道自己在写什么。

我也不知道活着到底是喜悦还是悲伤。

我只是活着而已。

仅此而已。

从十三岁到二十一岁，我活下来了。

我怎么还能奢望更多。
