A lot of people in the UConn fan base are purely box score watchers and it is so unbelievably obvious. One of the key components to being a great player is being able to adapt and impact the game in other ways when certain parts of your game aren’t working. Paige is a master at this and probably the best example. But Azzi is quite good at it too and that’s what she’s done pretty much all season. Her shot hasn’t been the most consistent all season, but she’s been one of our top two defenders consistently, stepped up when Paige was out, carried vs SC, and will be instrumental to this team��s championship run. She is a difference maker even if it doesn’t always show on the scoresheet and has been all season.

Y’all have to stop being so flip-floppy with her and just watch the games. Y'all not being able to appreciate a player when they don't stuff the statsheet to your liking is a personal problem that you should keep to yourself 😁😁

Paige take the extra year

I’ll have to say it but I am not ready for Paige major struggles in her rookie season (more seasons than rookie tbh) not only wings lost all their top scoring players all they got were nalyssa smith who her team was much better offensively and defensively with her off the floor and Ty Harris who is good but not great and there are other guards that will be fighting for her spot.

Here is to hoping that the rumor of Paige not wanting to play there is true( I started to believe it because espn will not report on it time and time again if Paige or her agents are not talking) and I don’t blame her yes people will shit on her for years to come however she is screwed and I see arike jumping ships next year with free agency. Don’t let me talk that they have most inexperienced coach in the w too and 8th pick in the draft will not bring you good player with how the current draft looking like.

yup mystic because it’s her hometown and Valkyrie because they need 3 pts shooters like this their coach philosophy and no top star was willing to come to sign which is weird but everyone wants to raise their trade value for next year free agency
