Today was a really good day routine wise for me.
Breakfast: Cinnamon tea with Mandarin aloe and a Shamrock shake
Snack: Banana
Lunch: Cinnamon mandarin tea and caramel apple shake
Snack: Jet drink (energy and a cleanse, plus 15g of protein!)
Dinner: Leftovers from last night! - broccoli and spinach stuffed chicken with spaghetti squash
I’m probably going to have an oikos triple zero, finish my collagen, drink some more water, and unwind for the night. I’m feeling some meditation or yoga/stretching :)

I’m under 200 pounds for the first time in 5 years!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭
This journey is about so much more than the scale wins, but this is a huge milestone for me! I put on 125 pounds after graduating high school. I got to my highest weight of 275 and am currently down to 199.6 😭😭😭

I’m Brittany and this is my story!
In high school, I was dancing 15+ hours a week. I was active and the most I weighed was 150 pounds. I wasn’t eating terrible, but I wasn’t eating the best either. I never really felt comfortable in my body. I also dealt with depression and anxiety. Eventually, my anxiety got so bad that I had to stop dancing halfway through my senior year. Stopping dance, I wasn’t active anymore. My mental health also declined as I was feeling sorry for myself.
After high school, I went to college and ended up putting on 125 pounds, bringing me to 275 pounds. I was doing what college kids do - order pizza or chinese and drinking every weekend. I also had no desire to get to the gym. My mental health got even worse over this time. I was using some really negative coping skills and just kept sinking lower. But I made it through and graduated in May of 2017.
Fast forward to March/April of 2018. One of my facebook friends, now my coach and one of my biggest inspirations, was always posting pictures of these yummy looking shakes and her results. After a few months of seeing that, I thought “Wow, she looks amazing! She seems so happy and confident! Plus, those shakes look really yummy...” AAAAAND... I messaged her. She introduced me to Herbalife. I tried teas and shakes. They were indeed as yummy as they looked! But I still wasn’t totally ready for change. I was getting a shake at a local nutrition club and making them at home a few times a week. I just wasn’t being consistent. But they tasted good and made me feel good.
At the end of July, my family and I went to Disney World. I had a fun time, but I definitely missed out on things. I was too tired to last a full day at the parks. I would be tired after walking maybe 20 minutes. I spent more of my time sitting and feeling lousy than anything. I also couldn’t stand the way I looked in pictures or how I looked in the mirror. And that was enough motivation for me.
I got back to Massachusetts on July 31st. The very next day, I started with the shakes and teas again. I was ready. I was being consistent. Each day I would have my 2 teas and shakes, one bigger meal, and 2-3 smaller meals in between. I went on to lose 7 pounds in my first week (not typical, but possible!) I couldn’t believe it!
Just from making a lifestyle change of consistently exercising, making healthier food choices, drinking more water, and using Herbalife, I’ve been able to lose 72 pounds since the beginning of August! (DISCLAIMER: People who use Herbalife Formula 1 twice a day as part of a healthy lifestyle can generally expect to lose around half a pound to 1 pound per week)
What’s even better than that though is the way I feel. I actually have energy and motivation to get through the day. Even on my toughest days! I feel comfortable in my own skin for the first time in my life. I feel much more confident than I did 5 months ago. I’ve actually learned to love myself and put myself first. I am so happy and thankful to be able to wake up each day. And that is something I can honestly say for the first time in my life. My life has changed so much already and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
