For the fanfiction writer asks, I'm curious on your answer for #3. :)
3. Do you prefer writings OCs or self insert fics?
I really don’t like reading self insert fics all that much. Mostly because they tend to be more female focused, and it’s really hard finding good male ones for myself. Although, I don’t like imagining myself with the characters… So, self inserts and me have a difficult relationship and I think anyone who writes them is a stronger person than me.
But I LOVE writing OCs! Original Characters are like my bread and butter, truly, I would not have gotten into writing if I didn’t have my OCs from way back when. And actually, I do have an OC for JoJo, although I don’t ship him with anyone, he’s a Stand and maybe someday I’ll write him but for now I like sticking with ships I love!
Thanks for this question!

Fanfiction Writer Asks
Most of the writer ask posts I come across are only like ten or so questions long so I thought I’d try to make a longer one because we like talking about our writing! Feel free to reblog!
1) How old were you when you first starting writing fanfiction?
2) What fandoms do you write for and do you have a particular favourite if you write for more than one?
3) Do you prefer writing OC’s or reader inserts? Explain your answer.
4) What is your favourite genre to write for?
5) If you had to choose a favourite out of all of your multi chaptered stories, which would it be and why?

30) In contrast to 29 is there a story which gets lots of love which you kinda eye roll at?
31) Send me a fic recommendation and I’ll post it for my followers to see! (The asker is to send the rec not the answerer)

So, my timeline is a little janky but I think I finally have it down pat. Also I realize I haven't been around, I do have asks in my aso box that I will get to. This summer has just been a roller coaster and I feel like I'm finally doing better. Anyway- Onto my timeline of sorts!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So Kakyoin was saved by the Speedwagon hospital staff. He was in surgery for twenty four hours before they finally got him into stable enough condition. He was unable to go back to school due to the healing process and physical therapy but Jotaro came by and basically taught him about what they were learning so he could graduate.
Kakyoin painted all the time in the hospital during recovery and his work gained some traction so he just decided to work in his art rather than go to College.
He and Jotaro stayed together even while Jotaro was off doing his Aquatic Science stuff. Kakyoin moved in with Holly and recovered mostly with her. He was up on two feet without a cane by the time Jotaro graduated college.
It was during that time after that Jotaro and Kakyoin got married, and had Jouta. Kakyoin was given the "okay" to have kids when his body was able to handle it, even though Jouta was a surprise.
Kakyoin and Jotaro bought a house near Holly's house, and even though Jotaro wasn't around most of the time, Kakyoin really wanted Holly near by for Jouta. But Jotaro didn't really mind.
When the family found out about Josuke and Joseph caused an uproar in the family, Jouta was about three years old. Kakyoin and Suzie Q were actually quite close at the time, thanks to Holly, so Jouta knew his great grandmother.
When Jotaro was asked to go to Morioh, Kakyoin came with him, leaving Jouta at home with Holly. Unknowingly, Kakyoin, at the time, was pregnant with Jolyne during this series of events. He didn't realize until he started to show near the end of the series.
Eventually Jotaro moved into the house with his family, able to work on weekdays and help on weekends especially with a new baby.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, my reasoning behind this timeline is that Jotaro is about 22-24? during Part 4. So, by part 6, Jolyne would be 20ish years of age. I'm probably off, I haven't read part 6 yet. I know Jotaro leaves Jolyne's mom canonly, but I read a post once that basically explained why that wouldn't be the case with Kakyoin.
Kakyoin has been with Jotaro in the worst conditions, he survived and fought with him. You can't just let love like that go. Kakyoin is just too involved in Kujo/Joestar stand business that he would be the perfect partner for Jotaro. Also he loves his kids too much, their kids are so gosh darn cute.
Anyway!! I hope this makes up for my absence, probably not but I wanted to tackle my timeline before Part 5 came out!! If you have any suggestions or changes that you think I should make, send in an ask! I really would appreciate the love! Thanks!!

prompt if you seen pt.4 after the run in with Kira Kakyoin joins the scene thanks Koichi for not letting Jotaro die and then takes him back to the hotel room and tends to his wounds And or theyre both in the fight love your writing and blog layout love how it looks like pages in a book.
~ I saw this episode last night, Anon!! I’m so sorry this is late but after I saw it, I knew exactly what I was writing. So, get ready because this is going to be PAIN. EDIT: THANK YOU FOR SAYING MY BLOG WAS PRETTY. I JUST NOTICED. IM SO SORRY.
“I don’t want you coming here.”
“Kids are being murdered, Jotaro! I can help!”
“It’s too dangerous. Stay home.”
“Say what you will, but telling me its too dangerous is just going to make me want to go there more.”
—————
Kakyoin wasn’t even sure Jotaro expected him to be in Morioh. After the phone call the night before, it was pretty clear his husband didn’t want him there. But his was hardheaded, they both were, and he made sure he was there the next morning. He tried calling Jotaro several times, it was around noon, but he wasn’t really sure where Jotaro was. After the sixth attempt to reach his hotel line, Kakyoin started dialing for a taxi in the payphone booth.
He had just hung up when two kids ran past him, shouting about getting to their friend. They looked in a hurry, but one of them saw Kakyoin and stopped. He walked over and thoroughly looked over his clothes. Did this kid know him? Or maybe he knew Jotaro? Kakyoin was wearing a pin that matched almost exactly to the one his husband had on his coat, except, his coat was a light green.
“Ah.. You wouldn’t happen to know Jotaro, would you?” The kid asked after some time.
“Yes, I do actually. I’m looking for him now..” Kakyoin thought about why they were running and a slight panic set in, “Is.. Is he okay?”
The two kids looked at eachother and Kakyoin’s heart fell through his chest. What happened to his husband? And why weren’t they saying anything?!
—————
Kakyoin’s legs felt like rubber as he ran. He wasn’t even thinking, his thoughts wouldn’t allow him to imagine the possibility of Jotaro being dead. They weren’t going to go through this again, they promised eachother this would never happen again! He turned the corner only a split second before Josuke and Okuyasu, and he saw Jotaro fall to the ground.
A cry came from his mouth, but he wasn’t sure he heard any noise as he wasted no time in running over. He fell to his knees next to Jotaro and turned him over, holding his head and giving his cheeks slight slaps.
“Stay with me! Jotaro?! Open your eyes!” He was crying, tears streaming down his face and the worst possible pain imaginable was peircing his heart.
Josuke quickly made quick work of Diamond, starting to heal Koichi and Jotaro. When his wounds started to close up, Kakyoin held him close, not wanting to let go. Bull-headed man, never asked for help, he admitted once that he was scared everytime Kakyoin went into battle that he wouldn’t make it out like he did before.
Now who was the one getting hurt for no reason? Kakyoin looked over and saw the man they assumed to be the assailant, pleading with Josuke just as Jotaro started to stir back awake. The red head gently moved him so he could carefully sit up on his own, not quite sure how Josuke’s stand worked, if it left a lingering pain or what. But he knew Jotaro wouldn’t meet his eyes, being as stubborn as he was.
But Kakyoin wrapped his arms around him and sobbed quietly, just so the two of them could hear. “I’m so glad you’re okay..”
Jotaro turned and started to glare at hus husband but when he saw how disraught Jakyoin had been, he softened his look and wiped his love’s face with his thumb. Kakyoin was just relived they made it in time.
Jotaro and Kakyoin stood up to face Kira and Kakyoin was ready to call Hierophant to really make this an interesting fight. But as well all know, he got away. After the initial search, Kakyoin made sure to stop and thank Koichi. Which was more of Kakyoin hugging the poor kid and threatening to mother him to death.
Later that night though, Jotaro was lectured on not calling Kakyoin sooner and letting him help. Having two professional Stand users was better than one especially when dealing with someone like Kira. Of course Jotaro just distracted Kakyoin halfway through so the message was heard but not received.

Hey guys! I had an idea this morning while listening to Touch It by Ariana Grande so I just had to get it down before I forgot! This will be a bit PG-13 and might get a bit angsty!
Time is a funny thing, Miss Holly once said, some day you two will remember what’s really important.
    Right after high school, Kakyoin started looking into art schools and Jotaro, of course, pursued the Aquatic Sciences. They were on opposite sides of town, three hours away from each other, but they made it work, seeing each other on weekends and holidays. And for about a year, this was how they lived, and it was fine. Until it wasn’t. Kakyoin finally ended things right before the summer of their second year in college. The distance was too much, and they were getting busier and busier. Jotaro didn’t have much to say, he seemed to agree, but that just bothered the other more.
   Miss Holly kept in touch with Kakyoin having developed a strong bond with him. They talked almost everyday, and she always rooted for them to get back together and it did give Kakyoin a bit of hope. But after their breakup, he never heard from Jotaro, he was probably buried in his work like always. The next few years were difficult; Kakyoin had a handful of friends, but he didn’t really go out, opting to drink boxed wine at night alone. He usually used this time to think about Jotaro. And for a few years and until graduation, he lived like this, mostly alone.
      It wasn’t until his father died that Kakyoin saw Jotaro again. Miss Holly had insisted that they be there for the funeral. She gave them plenty of time alone, but Jotaro didn’t seem interested in talking. It wasn’t the right time, even though if you asked, he would have wanted to talk to Jotaro that day. Ask him how he was doing, how his career was going ( he had gotten a job by now ), and if he had been seeing anyone. Miss Holly insisted he wasn’t, but that didn’t make Kakyoin feel any better.
     A few months later it was Christmas, and Miss Holly had invited Kakyoin to dinner. Of course he originally refused but the woman was insistent, and he had purchased his fourth boxed wine that month so he figured it was time to face the facts. He missed Jotaro. For four years, he had been skating by on wine and Miss Holly but he truly didn’t want to be living this way. He needed to see him, and at least hear his voice.
    The dinner was awkward, Joseph, Suzie Q, Avdol, Pol, and Jotaro were all there. The conversation was kept light and the food was delicious, but Pol had made too many drinks for Kakyoin ( completely out of sheer awkwardness, he had been talking to Jotaro ), and of course, the only thing Miss Holly was going to allow was Kakyoin to stay overnight to sleep off the buzz. Kakyoin assumes she had this all planned out, considering the next day was Christmas and his bedroom was right next to Jotaro’s. She was sneaky like that.
    Kakyoin had gone outside of his room to smoke for a bit; ah yes, the traditional “picking up a bit habit your ex had because I miss him so much” thing. He hadn’t been doing it for long, hated the taste, but the smell was too familiar to let it go. But suddenly, he wasn’t alone, as Jotaro came out from his room to look and see the other. Their eyes met and Kakyoin took in a breath, before averting his eyes. He felt his heart beating in his chest and he just knew Jotaro could hear it. The taller male stepped further out, still watching the other.
“I didn’t know you smoked..” Jotaro said quietly.
“Yeah, me either. Just recently picked it up.” Kakyoin replied just as quietly.
    The air was tense, just like it had been so many years back when Kakyoin first expressed his feelings to the other. His chest was tightening and he wanted to run away, but he knew he would regret it if he didn’t say anything.
“You shouldn’t be smoking.”
                                                   “You’re one to talk.”
“I’ve actually quit recently.”
                                                  “Oh. That’s good on you.”
“So, why are you smoking, then?”
   Kakyoin pulled the cigarette from his mouth and looked over at the other to say something about being annoyed, but when he turned his head Jotaro was closer, and staring at him. Any words he had, left his mouth and he nearly dropped the still lit butt. The pair stared at each other, Kakyoin only making noise when he swallowed. He looked away and put out the butt before putting it in the ashtray, pulling up his jacket to hide his reddening cheeks.
“Why did you leave?” Kakyoin asked suddenly.
“Excuse me?”
“Why did you leave when I told you we should break up? Why did you just calmly accept it like that? After everything that happened.. You never even called me. It’s like I was a stranger to you.. for four years I’ve thought about you and-”
“Because if I called you then I wouldn’t be able to stop myself.”
    Kakyoin looked over at the other, tears brimming his eyes, scanning over the face of the stoic man. But Jotaro kept talking.
“I accepted it, because I didn’t want to change your mind. I kept up with you though, my mom, she talked a lot about you. You guys kept in touch and so I learned everything through her.”
    Kakyoin chuckled and Jotaro looked over at him, one eyebrow quirked in confusion. The smaller male waved his hand in dismissal before speaking.
“She told me all about you, too. Top of your class? That’s really impressive. I was happy for you.” A silence fell between them before Kakyoin turned to face Jotaro, arms crossed over his chest. He shook his head and sighed, “I was wrong. I’ve spent the past few years thinking about nothing but you and I’m so sick of pretending I’m not missing you every single day. It’s been torture without you and I haven’t been drunk enough to admit it outloud.”
    Jotaro seemed to nod at what he said, before reaching out and taking the other’s arm, pulling Kakyoin towards his chest, keeping him close for just a second. They stared at each other, looking over their faces, before Jotaro put their lips together, holding the back of Kakyoin’s head. The kiss went on for awhile; they had four years to make up for, after all! Jotaro pulled away first and his hands were shaking a little, something Kakyoin noted later, but not in the moment.
“I’ve been in love with you since the beginning and every single day we were apart I never stopped loving you. It takes everything I have not to go see you every single day. Being apart from you, it wrecked me. Kakyoin, being without you has made me realize what it means to have a soulmate.”
     Kisses between them would come and go, but that night, they spent the night in Jotaro’s room doing a lot more than kissing. In the morning, Miss Holly nearly cried at the sight of them together, hugging them and boasting about how she always knew her son would get Kakyoin back. They were married within three months because shortly after Christmas, they realized they were expecting a late Christmas gift.

how about bois doing some homework together and getting distracted by dumb jokes and gayness of each other?
~ I’m very sorry this is late! I had class that bled into the weekend and also I was just lazy. Not gonna lie, but I really wanted to do this!!
“Miss Holly, dinner was great, thank you for inviting me over.” Kakyoin said over the sound of running water and dishes being hit against each other.
“Oh, no probelm dear! My Jotaro doesnt bring over many friends, so when I heard about you coming over to study, I just had to make a special dinner. And such a gentleman for cleaning up! Your mother raised you right, Kakyoin. I’ll leave you two to it!” Miss Holly was out of the kitchen before either of them had time to thank her again, though Kakyoin had been thanking her quite a lot this evening.
He walked back over to the table and sat down across from Jotaro, a worried expression on his face. “Do you think I over-did it? I don’t want her thinking I’m a kiss ass..”
“Nori, I think you are a kiss ass. But no, Mom probably didn’t even notice.” Jotaro assured him, handing over his workbook to the other.
Kakyoin looked confused at him before handing it back, “You want me just to copy you? I thought we were actually studying. I won’t get anything right if I cheat.”
“So, you ARE a kiss ass.”
“You don’t have to worry about these kinds of things because you’re just that smart, but for us regular kids, we need all the help we can get!”
“Believe me, Nori, you are far from regular..”
Kakyoin watched the other for a moment, absorbing the compliment and growing quiet afterwords. It felt, strange, being so familiar with Jotaro after all this time. They didn’t have to pretend to like each other, even just being friends, they were fine. But things had changed since Kakyoin made it back from the hospital. Along with several new scars between the both of them, their lives had changed, their feelings had. It was all very new.
And Jotaro felt the same way. He wanted to make it clear that he wasn’t afraid to be.. open to other types of friendship between them. But that didn’t mean it wasn’t awkward or weird for them, sitting in Jotaro’s kitchen, alone. They both tried to focus on the schoolwork, that’s why they were here anyway. But Jotaro could tell that they were focusing on more than just school.
Every once in awhile, Kakyoin would look up and their eyes would meet, and they would hold the stare, not saying a word, but then the other would break and get back to work. A few times, Kakyoin’s foot touched Jotaro’s either by accident or on purpose, and it really made Jotaro stumble with his words. Simple things like that, and by the end of the night, neither of them were sure if they got anything done.
It’s not like they didn’t know what to say, because once Jotaro took Kakyoin home, they held hands and kissed each other goodbye. But the close proximity is what made them both so flustered. The sheer fact that they were alone and so close together. It was tantalizingly difficult to focus on anything else.

your drabbles are so sweet and gentle and beautiful, they healed my soul (after few hours of reading heartbreakingly angsty jotakak doujinshis for god knows what reason) and they inspire me to write my own things for this ship even when i feel that they aren't good enough. thank you for your blog!! also, if you're in the mood for requests: how about husbands kissing&cuddling and kids being embarrassed&grossed out by it (but internally they're kinda happy for parents' loving relationships)?
~ Anything you can put enough passion into, you should go for it! As someone who struggles with major low self esteem and anxiety, I can say that it was originally very scary for me to post what I write because I didn’t think I was very good. And I may not be the best writer, but as long as it makes someone happy, who cares? I’m glad this blog has helped in a small way and I hope that someday I will read something you write! Also, pardon me for my botched attempt to get the kids ages in line with part 4 and 6,,, I’m not good at any type of math.
It was a typical friday night for the Kujo family. Jotaro was home and in more comfortable attire, seated at the end of the couch, facing the TV; this is where he usually came to rest for the evening. The kids, Jouta and Joylene, seated directly in front of the television, big eyes, blinking blankly up at the giant screen. They were much older now, Jouta almost starting his Junior year of High School and Joylene in her second year of middle school.
Kakyoin busied himself in the kitchen, cleaning up after dinner and preparing a snack before the kids went off to bed. Baked apple slices, not too sweet but not too hard to chew on, something Mom ( Miss Holly ) made for Jotaro and Kakyoin while they were still living with her. He sat himself down next to his husband on the couch after putting the plate of apples on the table behind the kids.
A cartoon show was on, the kids were enthralled and Jotaro was getting a little handsy. His arm wrapped around the smaller man’s frame, holding him close, idle fingers stroked down Kakyoin’s side and the receiver felt his cheeks heat up. Soon, the parents were making google eyes at each other and giving little pecks to each other, whispering about how much they missed each other. Off in their own little world until-
“Ew!! Dad! Not in the living room!” Jouta cried in disgust, having turned around to grab an apple and seen his parents flirting it up.
Joylene spun her head around, wanting to see with her curious little eyes, “Were they kissing?!” She asked.
Jotaro huffed loudly as Kakyoin moved to wrap his arms around his husband and lay his head gently on the other’s chest. He chuckled and stuck his tongue out at their oldest, wanting to make it very clear that they were the adults here. Jouta would beg to differ in this exact moment.
“Shouldn’t you save that for when we aren’t-?!” Jouta started, before his sister interrupted.
“I wanna cuddle! I wanna cuddle!” Joylene jumped up excitedly, running over to the couch and leaping into her fathers’ arms. Kakyoin of course caught her and gave her a barrage of kisses causing the little girl to squeal with delight.
Jouta rolled his eyes before turning back to the TV. And then once again, the room was quiet all but for the TV. It was nice and warm, Joylene passing out sandwiched between her two dads and Jouta offering to finish off the rest of the apples in his room.

their!! first kiss!!! please!!!!
~ Anon, I’m so glad you asked for this! I love first kiss stories.
“Do you remember me?”
“Jotaro, I didn’t hit my head, for the last time.”
“How many fingers am I holding up?”
     Kakyoin groaned and laid back into the hospital bed, the bandage still covering his eyes from the attack earlier. Jotaro had been asking him nearly all day these types of questions. Ironically, the wounds he suffered were minimal and the only thing he had to worry about was if his eyes would heal quick enough to allow him to get back out and fight with everyone.  But for now, he was stuck with answering Jotaro’s questions like he had just come out of a coma.
     Then he had an idea. He pulled out Hierophant and had him read the numbers Jotaro was holding up. Except he wasn’t holding up any numbers, except one.
“Real mature.”
“I’m glad you think I’m joking about making sure you can continue this trip, but I’m not. What happened out there could have been much worse for you.” Jotaro explained.
      Kakyoin heard the fabric of his pants shift as he leaned back in the chair next to the bed. The worst part, and something he wouldn’t admit out loud, was that he couldn’t see the other’s face. It was practically torture. To be able to hear his voice but not be able to look at him while they talked? Not only that, but to have Jotaro lecture him about the fight. Kakyoin could die and he would be okay with it.
“I’m sorry. For not paying closer attention. I’ll recover quickly and be of more help to you all.” Kakyoin said softly, his hands gripping the sheets of the bed. It wasn’t that he hated saying sorry, but he hated admitting he was weak in the moment.
      A tense air hung between them, and the room became very quiet. Kakyoin knew the other would leave if the silence kept up but as he was about to speak, he heard Jotaro’s coat very close to him. There was also a warmth coming from his side but he didn’t flinch. Curse the bandages! What was Jotaro doing?
“Relax.”
      And then, he felt soft lips on his cheek. Jotaro’s lips( he assumed ). Kakyoin’s face lit up and his hand went to touch the spot but it was gently grabbed and moved. Kakyoin’s face turned and that’s when Jotaro kissed him for real. Their lips were only touching for a second, but at the time, it was the best second of Kakyoin’s life. Kakyoin would later have many more “seconds” in his life that he would call the best. Jotaro’s kisses in general were something to give a name to.
“Take your time and recover so you can join me again.” Jotaro whispered, before his presence was gone from Kakyoin’s side.
     For a good long time after that, Kakyoin’s head was reeling. He had confessed to Jotaro previously, but the air had been so awkward between them, he wasn’t expecting anything like that. He assumed the other would outright reject him. However, they would have their first kiss as a couple only a few weeks later.

So Royal Wedding today are you watching? Saw that you have a historical au. Do you have any ideas or thoughts for a modern royal wedding for Jotaro and Kakyoin?Etc.
~ Okay so I did watch it!!! But only the ceremony because in my time zone it was like.. 4 am that we had to get up?? And I’m not about that life.
But you know the way Prince Harry was looking at Meghan? I mean he was basically doing heart eyes the entire time ( ugh that boy was in LOVE )!!!! Jotaro would 100% be giving Kakyoin some serious heart eyes, and kakyoin would have the biggest smile on his face the entire time.
I think for a modern royal au it would be Kakyoin who was the royal. But like, he was secretly a royal when he met Jotaro. Like in America the Joestar family was famous because of Joseph, but here comes this royal who steals the heart of a regular guy and both familys are originally really weird about it. Not in the sense of “oh a commoner” but that “why would a royal be after our son??” ( because he’s hot okay, let it go, grandpa )
The church would be huge, per Jotaro’s family request and also because they have a lot of friends. Lots of candlelight and of COURSE that old timey wedding orchestra because I’m a sucker for that. I took lots of mental notes. But during the ceremony when the priest asks anyone to come forward to say that they shouldn’t be married, joseph starts to stand up but jotaro turns to glare at him and it is the scariest thing joseph has seen so he sits back down.
Why does Joseph get up? He’s not too thrilled with the idea of his son marrying a guy which in turn kills the family bloodline. What he doesn’t know is that Kakyoin is fully equipped to carry kids, not that it’s any of his damn business.
Also, right before the wedding, even though they aren’t supposed to, they saw each other. They told no one but Jotaro just had to see Kakyoin to relieve his nerves, to make sure that they other did really want to do this. Of course Kakyoin felt the same and so they made out a little but eventually Jotaro slipped back out and all was good. So when the priest asks “is there any reason why you shouldn’t get married” jotaro and kakyoin exchange a look and they k n o w. There was no reason for them to be nervous because they love each other and that’s all that matters.
Also when the priesr asks their family and friends about their marriage?? You can tell it’s mostly Joestars because they whoop and holler their answers.
The wedding goes pretty smoothly none the less, it’s also nice when they walk outside as a married couple because Kakyoin doesn’t have a train, he’s wearing a very nice white suit as is Jotaro. Though, for awhile he did tango with the idea of wearing a veil just so that Jotaro would have to lift it up and kiss him. But it ended up looking really weird with the suit.
I hope everyone enjoyed the royal wedding like i did!!! I am a sucker for weddings, I’m really a sucker for love but you know. Have a great day guys!!!

your drabbles are so sweet and pure! i love that you include jouta and jolyne in them as well! i'm kinda tempted to make an avpol version of this blog
~ Anon, I 100% agree that you should! I LOVE Avpol!!! But I’m so happy you like my writing! It’s comments like these that make my night and of course, your wish is my command! (Jouta and Joylene are completely and canonly Kakyoin and Jotaro’s kids. Sorry, I don’t make the rules.)
Kakyoin could go on for hours about all the times he was worried for Jouta, but it was in his nature, as his parent, to be worried about him all the time. But the moment that sticks out to him the most, is something that he and Jotaro avoid talking about as it was probably one of their biggest fights as a married couple. Jouta was a freshman in high school and it was his second day of class.
Kakyoin had sent him off with a hug and his lunch, and had already moved on to fixing Jotaro’s lunch when his husband walked into the kitchen. He was carrying Joylene, just a toddler at the time, who was crying for her favorite parent. Kakyoin accepted the child, and watched as Jotaro sleepily stumbled back into their room to get ready for the day.
But it wasn’t the morning that bothered him, although any opportunity to talk about Joylene as a baby, he would take. It was that evening when the incident happened. Jouta came home, collar propped up a little too high, hat a little too low, and he wasn’t meeting Kakyoin’s eyes. His parental instincts were on point so he knew Jouta was hiding something the minute the teen tried to scuttle away.
Upon further interrogation because, let’s face it, that’s what it feels like with teens, Kakyoin forced a confession out of him. Jouta had been in a fight, some kids were bullying a girl and he felt forced to step in. Now, in kakyoin’s defense, up to this point, he agreed with everything Jouta was saying. Jotaro was like that when he was Jouta’s age, as long as it was for a good cause, Kakyoin wasn’t upset.
But then his child brought up Charmy Green and Kakyoin nearly lost it. He wasn’t angry or screaming, but he did scold his child and send him to his room. In his house, you didn’t use your Stand on people who weren’t a threat to your life. That was the beginning of Kakyoin really worrying about his son; Jouta was a smart kid, but he was too much like his father for his own good. It bothered the red head more than it should.
Later that night, Jotaro and Kakyoin fought for a good two hours over the fight Jouta was in. Jotaro didn’t see a problem if it was in the defense of someone else. Kakyoin argued that someone could have gotten seriously hurt. At the end of it though, Jotaro sat Jouta down and spoke to him about the dangers of having a Stand as powerful as his was. And while the couple still gets into disagreements about the subject, both of them worked together when Joylene was discovering her stand so that they wouldn’t have to worry. Though, Jotaro still treats her like she’s six years old sometimes.
Also, fun fact, Jouta grew up respecting the law and did fairly well in school. Not really relevant to the story but Kakyoin likes bragging about his kids.

Note
Jotaro or Kakyoin walk into a room were the other is currently talking to someone about a stand situation and the other knows they will have to jump in and help out but first they walk over to their significant other and gives them an affectionate hello and pulling away then tells the third party that they can continue. (Sorry if wordy love your writing)
~ Thank you so much!! This is too cute and I just ran with it! I wasn’t sure if this was a prompt or not but here we go~!!!
Jotaro was more than worried when he saw his husband in Morioh, standing inside his hotel room, Josuke by his side. The marine biologist typically didn’t worry too much, most people could handle themselves just fine, but when Kakyoin was involved, it was hard not to hover. However, it had been years since the DIO incident, and his husband was constantly telling him not to worry. Jotaro was never great at listening.
Kakyoin was deep in conversation with Josuke by the time Jotaro was finally walking over.
“We’ve already come across six or seven different stand users, is that normal? Also, how do you have a Stand? Did you get hit by a magic arrow or have you always had it? How do you know Jotaro anyway?” Josuke was rapid-fire questioning Kakyoin, not paying attention to the taller figure approaching them.
Before Kakyoin could answer, Jotaro wrapped an arm gently around his waist, pulled him close and planted a kiss right on his lips.That shut Josuke up quickly, and even though it wasn’t their worst kiss, Kakyoin did have to pull away before Jotaro let it go on too long. A smile spread on his husband’s face and Jotaro knew he had done well.
“Kakyoin is my husband and not supposed to be here..” Jotaro said with a huff, slightly narrowing his eyes at the shorter male.
A light chuckle came from Kakyoin and he gave a slight nod to the teen before speaking, “It’s wonderful to meet you, Josuke. Jotaro has told me so much about you. I’ve been at home taking care of our kids while he gets to go off and play hero again, so I decided to join him.”
Kakyoin met Jotaro’s glare and smirked; a dull heat flushed onto Jotaro’s cheeks and he cleared his throat, pulling his husband closer. He mumbled a retort under his breath but before he could speak up, Kakyoin was back to talking, answering all of Josuke’s questions in tandem. Jotaro felt his body unclench as the other spoke, letting out a sigh for the first time in what seemed like forever.
He would never admit it, but he was really glad Kakyoin was with him just to relieve some of the stress piling on. He knew they worked well together and Kakyoin saw things maybe Jotaro wouldn’t normally catch. Plus, it had been awhile since they fought together, he would quite enjoy seeing Kakyoin handle himself after having two kids.
Josuke continued on with his questions practically into the night until his mother came looking for him. Which was fine, but Jotaro was eager to have his husband alone after all this socializing.

(Maybe) prompt: jotaro and kakyoin sharing a meal outside while some crazy shit is happening behind them.
~ I actually REALLY love this idea, Anon! I kind of mind barfed this writing but it was funny in my head.
It was supposed to be a regular date. Supposed to be. Jotaro finally had some time off from his Marine Biology job and wanted to take Kakyoin out for lunch. The looked like every day citizens for once, Kakyoin in a green turtleneck sweater and Jotaro in a navy blue button down shirt. All was peaceful in the world for awhile.
Until Josuke flew past the window. Kakyoin, startled, started to get up but suddenly, a large hand grabbed his wrist. It was Jotaro and he gently pulled his husband to sit back down. Kakyoin started to protest but Jotaro cut him off before he got a single word in.
“Ignore it.” He said with a huff, taking a large sip from his drink.
A few minutes later, objects were LITERALLY being thrown down the street. It was like an all out war, and the only ones left in the cafe were Jotaro and Kakyoin. Jotaro had his hat over his eyes, teeth grinding, arms crossed over his chest. Kakyoin sat across from him, his food basically untouched, his eyes focused on tje table, his palms sweating.
Everytime something crashed outside, the pair jumped, having been startled, and the air became more tense. A few times Kakyoin tried to say something, but Jotaro would insist that he ignore it and finish eating. Always the worry wart, this might have actually been taking Kakyoin to an early grave (No pun intended).
Kakyoin understood why Jotaro was so intently demanding that they stay and continue their date. It was difficult to get time alone together now a days, with Jotaro having a full time job and Kakyoin taking care of the babies back at home. But not once did either of them regret their choices together.
After only a minute more of this, Jotaro finally slammed his hands on the table, got up, and walked outside. The fight took about five minutes tops. When Jotaro came back in, a beaten and bruised Josuke with his friend Okuyasu joined them at the table. It was supposed to be a date. But Kakyoin didn’t mind the way it worked itself out.
Because, let’s face it, grossing out teens with sappy adult love is the best kind of lunch.

your historical au sounds WONDERFUL, i'm in love with it!!! princes, noblemen, art, adventures... that's some really good stuff!!! (all sorts of aus with princes are just my jam, i love them!) could you please tell more about it, like a short scene or a bullet point list of different details?
I’ll do a bulletin list because I love when people do headcanons for stories like that and I’m a huuuge dork when it comes to headcanons!! So, to start off, I’m thinking the beginning of the Elizabethan era. Thing were changing for monarchs and it was a time of art and renaissance! Also! I was listening to “What About Love” by Heart while writing this! Enjoy!
So, naturally, anyone who had seen or even heard of Prince Jotaro knew what he looked like. How handsome he was, how different he was compared to the Queen, who had a literal heart of gold, and how smart he was!  99.9% of the time women were crowding around him to earn his affections.
The King and Queen didn’t really care what Jotaro did with his time; they knew their son, and knew he wouldn’t cause any unjust mayhem. Though he was constantly getting into fights with guards.
Every kingdom has a court of sorts, filled with nobles and the richest families in the lands. Kakyoin’s family had strong ties to the royal line, supplying the country with most of it’s resources, only being outranked by Mohammed Avdol, the previous King’s most trusted friend.
When Jotaro and Kakyoin first met, Jotaro was avoiding the Imperial Ball that his parents had set up to find him a partner. He had just fought with the King over how ridiculous the notion of “love at first sight” was. And then he bumped into the man of his dreams.
Jotaro always makes excuses to go see Kakyoin in the garden or wherever the artists happens to be. From wanting to discuss their families ties to asking him about what he thought about the weather of his country.
Kakyoin knew every early on that the Prince was secretly trying to court him, but he met the other with a bit of resistance at first! He couldn’t destroy the other’s reputation by falling in love with someone of noble blood.
Of course that didn’t stop them from having secret meetings in the garden or in the library. On a couple of occasions, Jotaro hired the band to play just for them to slow dance to.
Kakyoin wasn’t a social butterfly by any means. He spent most of his time hiding behind his art or in the library or riding horseback.
Kakyoin didn’t typically have women falling over him, or even women who wanted him to court them (he gave off really intimidating vibes before he met Jotaro).
Jotaro’s favorite pastime included riding out to the beach and recording the things he found on the shoreline. It was an odd hobby to most, but the one time he took Kakyoin out to see what he was writing about, Kakyoin absolutely loved it. So much so that he painted a picture of the shore with Jotaro’s notebook in the sand.
Kakyoin was scared to paint Jotaro for a good long time before he did once and let the other have it. Jotaro spend the rest of the evening holding the red head’s hand and gushing about how great his art was. He kept painting him after that, but only for Jotaro’s eyes to see.
The King and Queen were “surprised” when Jotaro asked to marry Kakyoin ( no, they really were! the fact that he even asked them was surprising! ).
Kakyoin at one point had to go back to his own country to visit his sick father, who later died, and Jotaro nearly put the palace in an uproar wanting to go with him. Jotaro didn’t end up going and Kakyoin ended up receiving all of his father’s titles and lands which put him back permanently with Jotaro’s court.
The pair faced many hardships, mostly involving the country Kakyoin’s family was from. Their princess had her eyes on Jotaro and any relationship with that country Jotaro’s country had with them would be tarnished if he didn’t marry her. This led to Kakyoin being absent from the prince’s side for a few months, to dissolve suspicions.
However, at another ball the King and Queen held, Jotaro confessed he had no feelings for the princess and that his heart belonged to to Kakyoin. Surprisingly, Queen Holly was in complete support of the marriage and convinced the princess that she would personally find her another match with a nobleman they trusted.
Kakyoin and Jotaro’s wedding is pretty simple, nothing too extravagant, much to Queen Holly’s dismay. The wedding was talked about everywhere, however, and soon everyone knew about Prince Jotaro and his lover. Though, the pair couldn’t be bothered with the gossip, they barely had time to celebrate their wedding before they were sent away on their honeymoon (or whatever they called it back then!).
I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!!

and also a little request-ish thing - what's your favorite au for them? (noriaki being alive and married to jotaro is 100% canon for me, so that doesn't count) modern au, or one of them is mythological creature au, or both of them are, or crossover with some concrete story or with some wide universe, or nothing bizzare happened and everything was quiet and nice au, or maybe flowershop or coffeshop au (ultimate ones!! everyone loves them :з), or anything else? please tell me!
Oh gosh, this is a tough question, because AUs are like my addiction when it comes to pairings I like! But AUs outside of what I’ve thought of?
@sunsetfemke ‘s AUs are ALWAYS in my top ten! I can’t get enough of their jotakak!! Also, they’re a huge inspiration to me?? So, go check out their jotakak tag.
But if I’m honest, I’m always a sucker for flowershop/coffeeshop AUs, but I’ve recently been interested in historical AUs!! Jotaro the rebellious prince and Kakyoin the nobleman who likes painting in the garden. UGH. I love it. A little bit of forbidden love, maybe some near death experiences. It would be a roller coaster. Love it.
