I have a few happy friends. I ask them about being happy the same way my high school friends ask me about being gay, “So what is it you people do exactly? How do you do IT?” Their answers are never as freaky as I would hope Almost always they answer god or booze. One I don’t tolerate. The other, I’m told, doesn’t tolerate me. I’m fascinated with this idea of getting high on life. I imagine people on heir backs in lilac fields snorting the lines the planes leave in the sky, waking with honeymoons in their bloodstream. Me, I often feel like I’m the vaccine for goosebumps. So low I flip through old dictionaries where ‘gay’ still means happy and I say, “Well, if it were 1822 I’d be like, the happiest.” I can’t remember the last time someone commented on my sunny disposition. That doesn’t mean I’m not trying to juice the sun for every holy drop. No one stands by passively while their joy gets lost in the dark. I know it is its own injury, spending too much of your life just holding yourself together

What’s vine? That… seems like a lot of effort for one minute videos…

Vine was like TikTok, except you had 6-7 seconds and people somehow managed to fit entirely more into those few seconds than people do on TikTok in a minute. Because as creators we saw that time constraint as a challenge, seeing how much we could fit in that short span of time. It was fun and a lot of common place memes came from Vine. People like Thomas Sanders, who now is immensely famous as a YouTuber, started on Vine and gained popularity there. As for the effort, yeah, it definitely is and for some people that works for them, but TikTok’s algorithm is shot to hell so sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it, what little I do with it, as is. To spend hours filming and editing just for half the content to flop is discouraging, really, and from what I’ve seen, trying to be a creator who works with TikTok (they call it the creator fund) actually leads to more content flopping than before.

Well, nothing says “successful birthday” like going to bed at 7 am, mostly drunk, and still managing to wake up without a hangover. Now to see just how much money I get to donate to charity and then go buy a very long list of questionable items and hair dye.

For those of you who don’t care, the saga continues. 

By chance, who do I catch in the corner of my eye yesterday? Fancy Pants. No lampposts were involved (thankfully). Let me say, I’m really starting to despise the five lanes of traffic on Hollywood Boulevard. By that moment on my walk to work, if I was at Marilyn Monroe, he was by Fred Astaire. Point being, through some gestured conversation, I asked for his number. We’ll see if I get it next time. I wish I had a sister for some advice on how to ask out crosswalk guy. 

I also need some new suggestions for my running playlist (I run to work). It’s already filled with my queens TayTay and Beyonce. It’s the highlight of my morning, running through Los Angeles, listening to Welcome to New York.

My run playlist is just the biggest mix of like upbeat pop and angry rock with like a weird handful of punk tossed in for good measure, so I don’t think I’d be much help there.

So, the rumours are true, the production of Spider Man had been postponed for a few days, because of me coming down with something. I really didn’t want them to do that, but I had no option…. They almost forced me to go to hospital but I rejected, so I’m resting up at home. I hope for a speedy recovery, so that I can get back in on the action…

Welcome back. LA doesn’t tend to change much. Sorry to hear about things not working out.

It's so refreshing to see L.A. is almost the exact way I left it. Is it's werid to say I missed how busy life is here. On another note hi I'm back on social media and yes anyone I mean anyone who sent me a wedding gift will be getting it returned shortly brcause if it wasn't obvious by my disapearance and the rumor mill I did not get married, so if you see me acting mild mind ya business.

As cool as it’s been to have my dad be my manager now sometimes it’s just too much. Anyone wanna run away with me to a private island so I can finish this album? I’d go on my own but I don’t want to go alone. Kidding, sort of.
