I went back to this island i sometimes go to in my dreams

It a mixture of korpo+houtskär+nagu+pargas and an astrid lingreen-story island. I hadnt been there in so long. The mainhotel was now so fancy that i couldnt even afford to take mynusual stroll through it. I had to float through the pictures in the lobby seeing bad recreations of the lobby as an actual cozy place rather than its current play on ‘authenticity’. I was confused and lonely there, having this constant feeling of being close to be thrown out of there as well as this overaarching anxiety of running out of money on the island while ordering a homebaked cake in busstation-caff, the now-only place locals felt almost-home at.
