Is there some kind of monster Jesus? and famous monsters like Dracula and Frankstein, would they be historical or political figures in the world of monsters?

So there’s no Jesus analogue, but I do have an “All Father” type creator god, whose like the top god, and they’re kinda based on the Hebrew God.

To answer the second question, monsters like Frankenstein and Dracula exist - Frankenstein is actually Shelley’s idol. They would be sort of famous, like pseudo celebrities, for making such big waves in the human world. Frankenstein in particular would be one of those famous scientists, like a Neil deGrasse Tyson type

What's it like for Kendall for his mom to be friends with his teacher?

Does he often see Mau outside of school? Would that be awkward for him? Does Kendall's mom blab about all his embarrassing childhood stories to Mau? And how does the relationship affect Kendall's school life in terms of how Mau or even the other students treat him?

It's definitely weird. He'll see Mau occasionally, like when she stops by to pick up his mom so they can go out, and his mom's not quite ready so Mau's just waiting awkwardly in the living room while Kendall is there. Kathleen definitely blabs about childhood stories, Mau loves hearing about it (but she's never tell anyone Mau's no snitch) The students wouldn't treat Ken any differently, but Mau would definitely pull a move like "Kendall, see me after class" just so Mau can give him a note to send to Kathleen

So, I had a stupid idea that I've been sitting on…

Future Shelley's is spending the night of Valentine's Day with a human boy she really likes. He notices her fidgeting and asks what's up. Acting more fidgeting, she turns away… then turns back, holding her still-beating heart to him as she confesses her feelings. He understandably runs away at such a sight.

The next day, a disheartened (not literally) Shelley is talking with a friend at school about it — probably someone who knows human rituals — and they're trying not to laugh their butts off at how badly Shelley misunderstood the concept of "giving your heart to someone you like". Or something like that.

I dunno. Like I said, it was an idea I've been sitting on. Figured you might like it.

"I'm not up on human customs, is this how you do it?"
