#1 Assignment- Game level- thoughts

Our game level turned out pretty good. We each learned new things, each had our own challenges. We had problems such as corrupt files and Maya crashing. When rendering two camera passes were missing and the flames from the campfire weren't moving. I liked that in the end we saw the project and reflected on what we did and what we could of done, and what we learned.

Team Project: Create a level

I am the texture lead of the group and of course I have other things to do as well. For example I had to use particles, which I never used and had no idea of how use. I had to great a campfire. Which I did and looks great and I'm not bad on making particles. The trick was getting to fire to work in mental ray and I had to convert the particles into polygons. And after that to bring down the polygon count.
