i will never get people who say ishimondo (platonic or romantic) in canon is one-sided.
like WHAT DO YOU MEAN “ONE-SIDED”??? mondo wanted to get a tattoo to remind himself of taka not even 10 hours into being friends with him. he thinks taka’s dumb sayings are poetic. he doesn’t want anyone to remember that there was ever a time where he didn’t like taka. he’s so ENAMORED by his new weird little friend and i’m so sick and tired of people saying he’s not. he’s obsessed.
like the only time it feels “one-sided” is when it’s ishida talking to alter ego mondo but that’s because one of them is LITERALLY AN AI.
