Dr. Tedros stated " We are grateful for Germany leadership and steadfast support throughout the COVID- 19 pandemic as well as its efforts to forge a stronger multilateral health system, with a strong WHO at the center."
"And last year, I was honored to join former chancellor Angela Merkel to open the WHO Hub for pandemic and epidemic intelligence in Berlin, which will play a vital role in fostering greater sharing of data and information between countries" Dr Tedros.
We look forward to working together to achieve these ambitious and critical goals, he added.
Maya Plentz inquires of Schulze about how they plan to work with developing countries to help them. In agreement with Schulze, bringing it together in such a way that it can be used by others is an absolutely key point that we need in the current pandemic. What we're noticing is how important it is to properly analyze the data, and at the core of this hub in which we've launched together is something very important for our future development, and I assume that we can learn a lot from this hub.
"Germany made an admirable commitment to the equitable distribution of vaccines and other COVID- tools to help end pandemic and support lower- income countries” Dr Tedros addressed.
Schulze said at the conference that top of their agenda is ending the pandemic, that means we need to achieve vaccination of 70 percent of people in other countries by the middle of this year, so we need a massive accelerated truly global vaccination campaign.
In conclusion Minister Schulze " We are still far from reaching 70 percent coverage in all countries, 34 countries have still not been able to vaccinate 10 percent of their population and 86 have less than 40 percent vaccinated". Jonel Vivar BA JOURNALISM 3A SEO REPORT
